Actually, Yuqi recently said that her voice was not born like that deep. She got a heavy fever and cried for a long time at the kindergarten period. Then her voice became very deep, even deeper than now. Then she learned to sing and her voice became a little bit higher than before just like now. She used to be insecure about her voice but now it bocome special.

I really love Yuqi's deep voice. This song really lives up to her diva-ish and strong voice. And that's on a period
I lived in the US for over a decade, heard English being spoken on a daily basis and this to me was just like any other English artist singing. Her pronunciation is good. Way better than others I have heard as you can understand perfectly what she is saying. Also you have to give her credit, it is not her native language on top of already learning Korean. Just amazing to me.

Yuqi currently has very busy schedules in China. She's filming multiple variety shows (Keep Running China etc.), brand events etc. You can watch Keep Running on RUclips. It has official English subtitles.
If you'd like to see more of her stage performances, please look forward to an upcoming competition show called Stage Boom. She will compete with a lot of other female idols in China with live singing/dancing performances.
I don't know exactly when this show will air, but it will air on the channel IQIYI 爱奇艺 and Yuqi already filmed a couple of episodes. I think it will come out very soon.
