Actually, Yuqi recently said that her voice was not born like that deep. She got a heavy fever and cried for a long time at the kindergarten period. Then her voice became very deep, even deeper than now. Then she learned to sing and her voice became a little bit higher than before just like now. She used to be insecure about her voice but now it bocome special.

I lived in the US for over a decade, heard English being spoken on a daily basis and this to me was just like any other English artist singing. Her pronunciation is good. Way better than others I have heard as you can understand perfectly what she is saying. Also you have to give her credit, it is not her native language on top of already learning Korean. Just amazing to me.

She’s such an amazing vocalist it’s insane. Her voice is so full and deep and rich. Those high notes at the end were gorgeous. People just automatically assume since her voice is deep she can’t hit high notes well. Which isn’t true. She can hit high notes very well it’s about singing in a key that makes your voice feel comfortable to sing as high or low as you are able. Hands down her technique is really good and I can’t wait for her to release more music to show case her voice even more
