Soyeon wrote the lyrics, engineered the beat, arranged and produced all of it. She told the members how to sing their part and she did her part as well. And she's a singer, dancer and the best idol rapper of this 3rd/4th gen. Like her members she is talented asf
The best part of this song is how it's not rushed like pop songs in general. There are some "pause" moments, where it's not necessarily a verse, bridge or chorus. It's just some moments where you can feel the song breathing and developing. Also the pauses between sentences is awesome (and the YUFUFUFUFUFU, obvsly). I really like this song, I think it's one of the best in kpop and the best from (G)I-DLE.

Soojin don't even have to try hard to look sexy and elegant. She's just a natural, this concept fits her so well. It's a shame we lost her, she had a energy that no one can replace

Yuqi's voice really fit this song I got excited when I heard her and I'm pretty sure with hard work, dedication, and practice Shuhua can sing in Korean.. memorization is key when it comes to non Korean artist, so hopefully next time we can hear more from her.. Soojin looks really good in this mv
I hope the company realize that shuhua's lack of line isn't good for her image bc the public will start to think she can't sing that's why she wasn't given lines. And im afraid someday even shuhua herself starting to doubt her vocal and talent.
This just cements the fact that Soyeon is so amazing... she has such wonderful talent and passion for her music and it really shows. I mean, she didn't win either Produce 101 or Unpretty Rapstar but she still succeeded in the industry because she never gave up. We STAN a strong, independent woman!
but they're going down the PCD path where they heavily rely on Nicole - Soyeon, who has all these solo/shuffle opportunities (K/DA, Wow Thing).. the group will get disbanded and Soyeon will go solo at this rate. Yuqi has such a strong distinct voice in Kpop and she's getting screwed by this line distribution.
I wish Yuqi had more lines, her voice just seems so unique for female kpop singers, its a bit lower and more soulful or something, its got a bit of sass to it and I cant ever get enough. Edit: I didnt really mean for this comment to start arguments over lyric distribution, they're all talented and deserve as many lines as possible. I just wanted to share my love for Yuqi's voice with those who agreed, I could listen to it for hours and still feel like it wasnt enough.

No offense to Shuhua....but why did she debut if she wasn’t ready? Cube should’ve kept her in training if she couldn’t perform properly yet. She makes choreo mistakes the most often and she’s still weak in the language and vocals. I like her, and honestly the group wouldn’t be the same without her, and I think she has a lot of potential, but it’s just weird that she debuted without being ready.

The production in this song is freaking smart. I really understand why so many people can't like it, and is just because is chaotic. There's so much upbeats and downbeats, the instruments are not ordinary in these kind of pop songs, even that, they really understood what latin music is, this doesn't sound like generic reggaeton or occidental pop, they used a lot of concepts from traditional latin pop. As a latin, I love this song, is amazingly well done and the MV is the best between title tracks (Blow your Mine still is my fav tho, because Minnie❤️) Give this a few more listens, if you still don't like it, maybe is because you can't understand it. That doesn't make the song bad.

I wish Yuqi had more lines, her voice just seems so unique for female kpop singers, its a bit lower and more soulful or something, its got a bit of sass to it and I cant ever get enough.

No offense to Shuhua....but why did she debut if she wasn’t ready? Cube should’ve kept her in training if she couldn’t perform properly yet. She makes choreo mistakes the most often and she’s still weak in the language and vocals. This song has been on repeat ever since it came out. (G)I-dle keep on outdoing themselves each comeback and this is no exception
The production in this song is freaking smart. I really understand why so many people can't like it, and is just because is chaotic. There's so much upbeats and downbeats, the instruments are not ordinary in these kind of pop songs, even that, they really understood what latin music is, this doesn't sound like generic reggaeton or occidental pop, they used a lot of concepts from traditional latin pop. As a latin, I love this song, is amazingly well done and the MV is the best between title tracks (Blow your Mine still is my fav tho, because Minnie❤️)
Give this a few more listens, if you still don't like it, maybe is because you can't understand it. That doesn't make the song bad.
