All of this earth energy has had me irritable and short tempered! 😄😬🔥 But I've been harnessing the domestic aspect of Capricorn to get things organized in the studio. The idea of the demonization of Friday the 13th is interesting. I wonder whether Venus herself wasn't a product of Roman patriarchy turning a war goddess into a stereotype of feminine "cupidity". There is the symbol of cupid's arrows, and of the hermaphrodite. Some of the darker aspects of the feminine, maybe. But, you make a good point. In a Patriarchal system, and a religion of male gods, anything suggesting feminine rulership would seem "evil". 🌹Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to find my hockey mask and chainsaw....
@@jdouglasartist I hear you, Jonathan! Thank you for sharing, and great use of utilising Capricorn energy, I would agree. Iv found the intensity of energies this week bringing up old things for a fresh ‘level-up’ in empowerment, healing or forgiveness, all starting with self, and originating from something challenging or wounding. I love the pondering on goddess energies and origins, more interesting and interpretive content to ponder within astrology for sure. The dark goddesses (and gods) are super interesting and actually all feature somewhere in our birth charts too but I haven’t gone too far down that rabbit hole, yet! Kali, Medusa and Hecate to name a few bring us the energies that are ‘dark’ but meaning within this, in my understanding, is namely the parts of the feminine (or masculine in case of the gods) that we suppress, dislike or are uncomfortable. Of course as we all have darkness and light within us all but will often hide away from or omit to show our shadows. For example, Kali energy is likened to being a fearless ego slayer, therefore brings up truth with zero fucks given about how palatable that truth is or what aspect of life must end to achieve that death/rebirth type process. I hope the Full Moon/Eclipse season will assist you in clearing and transforming whatever is helpful for your path ahead! ✨
@@evolvewithgrace Algol in the constellation Perseus is associated with Medusa 👹🐍 That would be a fascinating star to track astrologically. There are some (prohibitively expensive) software programs for tracking such things, but hopefully advancements in AI will give us freer access to that data.
@@jdouglasartist Algol the fixed star does indeed have some fascinating associations in a chart, from other astrologers I have heard a mix of fear-based predicting (possibly from demonisation somewhere along the line! Or a lack of evolutionary potential with the information), to interesting connotations for strong appearance/facial features, for example. I think there’s enough astrology facets to study for at least 10 lifetimes! ✨
