Dragon's Dogma 2: Sorcerer vs Talos (Guardian Gigantus) [NO BRIDGE DESTROYED]

Kinda easy with Maelstrom. I was trying to knockdown the harpies with Thundermine there, but they're pretty passive during this event lol

I thought bridge destruction was scripted, unavoidable.
Is it doable without mods? (You can't spellhold Meister spells in vanilla, right?) Can you get there and cast Maelstorm that fast? Or are there some other ways?

Yes, I don't use mods, I just cast using Spellhold. If you destroy the stake on it's hand quick enough it drops the spear I think.
