      @@scottm2553 Here's some more information on the risks: americanaddictioncenters.org/ketamine-abuse/ketamine-side-effects
      The chief ones are potential addiction and dependence, and if the drug is taken long enough, problems with cognition or bladder function. There can also be potential short term effects like an inability to move (a 'k-hole'), overdose, impaired driving, etc.

      @@freethink yes yes, when you take like 5g Ketamin everyday for a extended period of time you will ultimately feel consequences😅. Although 1g gets you already in a k-hole. I also believe during keta therapy you wouldn't be taking keta everyday day and certainly not such big amounts (higher than a gramm), we are no elephants or horses. Considering that you would inject Keta i. V. you certainly wouldn't need even a gram to get you going 😂 the risk is real but so is drinking a bottle or two of vodka everyday ✌️ oh and overdosing on Keta is very hard! Which is why keta is used by doctors in emergency situations because it is such a reliable and safe anesthetic, one of the safest in fact! There is hardly a anesthetic that is as safe to use as keta. No breathing depression, hardly any bloodpressure change and the list goes on 😉

    I’ve been doing ketamine therapy for 11 months now. It’s completely changed my life for the better. My dad committed suicide when I was 5, and I spent 38 years in a depressive anxiety loop. Ketamine has completely put my depression into remission. We lost our 6 year old grandson 2 months ago, and it’s a Godsend I began treatment when I did. There is no way I could have been here to support my family through this trying time without it. I highly recommend anyone struggling to research it. My insurance covered 25 IV sessions, and now I do at home therapy. It’s the greatest gift I’ve ever been given.

    I have used SSRI's for many years. They were helpful, but limited for keeping my depression and anxiety suppressed. Ketamine has been life changing for me. My first treatment with Ketamine was different from any experience I have had before and I cannot describe it. It was certainly not frightening or uncomfortable. The effects of the treatment were remarkable, at least for me. I completely stopped drinking alcohol after decades of abuse which is monumental for me. I have completely lost the taste for alcohol and do not think about it any longer. Another big change for me is the absence of any feeling depression and anxiety. For me, the Ketamine treatment has been very effective for me. I wish I had known about this treatment years ago.

    On a certain level, we have a drug store in our brain, the neurochemicals that show up in flow: so dopamine, norepinephrine, anandamide, endorphins, and serotonin. If you were to try to cocktail the street drug version of that, right, you're trying to blend like heroin and speed and coke and acid and weed- and point is, you can't do it. It turns out the brain can cocktail all of 'em at once, which is why people will prefer flow to almost any experience on Earth. It's our favorite experience. It's the most addictive experience on Earth. Why? 'Cause it cocktails five or six of the largest pleasure drugs the brain can produce. We're all capable of so much more than we know. That is a commonality across the board. And one of the big reasons is we're all hardwired for flow, and flow is a massive amplification of what's possible for ourselves.

    I noticed in a video they talk about the current antidepressant drugs anti-anxiety medication and so on. I have a story to tell.
    first and foremost it's not the drugs that are the problem. The drugs work I'm living proof It's how the drugs are used in modern society. When I was going through my tough time my psychiatrist used the drugs as a stopgap. I was in a very bad place depression anxiety I was even contemplating suicide. My psychiatrist put me on the medication I'm not going to say which one and I started to feel better but there were terrible side effects. But what was most important was my psychiatrist told me that these drugs are only temporary to get me out of danger. He monitored me closely but during our sessions he actually was trained in psychology as well as psychiatry. We talked about my problems metered my medication and what the medication did was allow me to actually talk about my problems and to think coherently about them. once I started to get a grip on my problems he started to wean me off of the drugs very slowly. I will admit there were a couple of times that he needed to increase my dosage however every time he did I was able to get a better grip on my problems until after much hard work I was finally able to face my problems without the use of the drugs. The major problem with most psychiatrists these days is they prescribe the medication and then they tell you to stay on the medication and don't work with you to actually solve the problem.
    however doing it at home alone like this is really scary This type of treatment needs to be done in the presence of a professional. because I promise you if it starts to help somebody alone they're going to want to do it twice as much or three times as much until eventually they're going to go too far.

      Idk about ketamine, but I am sure as hell you didn't try classic psychedelics. There are some people who will do it all over again as much as they can, but psychs have like 1-2 weeks tolerance reset time, meaning you can't do them more often as they won't work that well and also the experience is so overwhelming that doing it "twice as much or three times as much" is not really an option if you are thinking human being.

    • @r34ct4
      @r34ct4 2 года назад +1

      @@mylegispotato It's almost like they have a natural protection mechanism (classic psychedelics). You do them too much, they stop working. But they are not neurotoxic, so doing a higher quantity (think of MDMA) won't destroy your brain. They are self-regulating, requiring you to have a pause in consumption to be able to experience it fully again. Beautiful.

A time where you can even go to a doctor who will oversee your Trip and who will help you to process all the powerful experiences that come with the use of those magical substances. ✨️ I don't wanna say that those drugs are a miracle cure. This entire thing we're involved with, called the world, is an opportunity to exhibit how exciting ketamine can be. To that lady who quit all these pleasure altering drugs with the help of it who said that she will keep doing the treatment I also want to ask what if we took the ketamine away, would there be withdrawals, would your mental state go back to where it was before or even deteriorate now that you can't reach that same high? It's clearly highly addictive, a little like how americans used to advertise this magical pain medication that drove people into addiction, forgot what it's called at the moment.
    It also reminds me about the experiments that we used to carry out in the world wars where we tried to use a combination of stronger drugs and therapy to rewire the brain. That sometimes resulted in irreversible damage and the experiments stopped since it was seen as ineffective and harmful to the subjects, if they changed it was usually for the worse.
    There is no such thing as a free lunch or a miracle pill, it will alter your brain chemistry in the long run!

      You’re misinformed about ketamine and psychedelics. It seems you think ketamine is a daily dose like the daily big Pharma pills which people have been taken daily for decades… ketamine is once every other months, so most people would at most take it 4x a year. Compare that to the daily pills. Now you say it is addictive … which isn’t true as you can see in studies if you did your research.
