Apart from the GTI and the STI, none of these cars really qualify as "performance" cars; they're more like imitations. Revitalize an E46, and you'll end up with a superior sports car compared to any of these. The Mustang and Camaro are decent choices too, but you better know how to work on them yourself. Frankly, there's no good new manual transmission cars unless you're willing to shell out serious cash. Opting for a DCT is a smarter move if you're seeking speed; ATs have made significant advancements. Personally, I've sworn off buying new cars-I'll stick to maintaining mine until replacement parts become scarce.
@@bluntmaayne Yea I couldn't tell you why that's on the list tbh. Pretty much half the cars on this list aren't even performance cars, they're just normal cars.
@@beartn sadly i think the point 1 these are the like cars with manual transmissions that are reasonably priced semi performance cars, ive been looking far and wide for a month for the right car with a stick its pretty infuriating
You can get all of these cars under 35k MSRP, finding a Honda Civic SI without a markup is frustrating. The Civic SI is the last one shown in this video
The Elantra is NOT a manual transmission. If it does not have a THIRD pedal and no clutch it is nothing more than another boring automatic car. When can dealers and even YT posters stop being deceptive like right here?
