I tried 2 decks with Alakazam that were pretty good : - one with marshadow and Farfetch'd to make Early pressure and finish the game with Alakazam - one with the new exxegcute a exxgecutor EX and 1 celebi and 2 erika to have an early Tank line up and finish the game with alakazam. Both deck are vert strong and boh runs the slab, you dont necessary need a lot of psyshic pokemon for this card to work, since if its not a paychic type pokemon, it will put the card as the last card in your deck, so if you have everything that you need except Alakazam line you can play it without much drawbcak even if you dont find it

He's a CCG content creator legend tbh, top tier interesting deck builder in any one he plays. Tangent opinion - Pocket has a lot going for it and I'm sure I'll be logging in for a while, but I really hope it gets more complicated or another banger CCG like Legends of Runeterra comes out (or they reboot it). Nothing has filled the void since they stopped PvP expansions
Gengar EX is very solid now. With the addition of mythical slab it’s easier to draw into, and now blocks the new important supporter cards like leaf. Would love to see you build a deck around it.

I have been waiting for persian to be used at least once, I don't know how much time I got left on this earth, but it would really suck if we never get to see a persian deck and it makes me sad.
There was a deck that got 3rd in a tournament. It ran machamp ex, 2 meowths, 1 Persian, 1 Pokédex. Not my favorite list but it can work. I hope things get better for you.
You've tried Volcarona twice now right, Mog? I'd love to see it work but it just seems terrible. It's like can only work in a deck as a one-off of Larv & Volc and it gets a finishing hit on a bench pokemon. Real shame imho.
Liligant is a crazy actually. Even if liligant is KOed right after its attack, it's still a neutral result: there is no energy investment lost except the 1st initial energy. Basically that's the same as hitting 50 for 1 energy, that has a chance to remain then snowball
energy-wise it's really efficient, but the problem is it really sucks card/pokemon-wise. a Pokemon that's stage 1 and has only 100 hp and 50 damage just tends to not be good enough for the space in your deck, even if it costs 1 energy. there's tons of Pokemon that are 1 energy for 100 hp 40 damage and they're nowhere near good enough without Blaine.

Yeah, I can play a boring Celebi or Mewtwo EX deck, but I really prefer trying out your decks when I have all the featured cards no matter how “good” or “bad” they might be. Have had lots of fun with your Seaking/Kingler, Florges, and Dedenne/Dragonite decks.
Had a game where I have 2 misplays, late evos, and still won. Just when you thought all turns wasnt doing u any good, ur opponent is suffering more. 🤣 do not concede when it's still winnable.
There’s a deck playing 1 Tauros, 1 mew ex, 2 farfetchd, 2 marshadow, 2 hitmonlee, 2 professor, 2 pokeball, 1 leaf, 2 Sabrina, 2 Giovanni, 2 x speed, 1 potion. It’s been winning tournaments. Requires a lot of decision making but very good.
I've always considered Liligant as more of a tempo card then ramp because she usually only give you 2 bonus energy which is how much you put on her. Still having tempo while you build up a big hitter is very strong.
Lilligant barely saw any play before but ever since Serperior came out it feels like everyone just completely abandoned her, which is a bit sad to me. Love seeing under represented cards like her still being used.
Love it when you try and slow down when you say we should pick the next deck I'm going for CHATOT xpoke (gyara) tons of items and pokedex combos explained with oak and ball Like a duelyst 101 your style for this game would be so nice, importance of xspeed, 60hp mark, potions, ratios on basics when to pivot etc Option n2 is elheeyem pidgeot w jynx tech and maybe chatot also, or do chatot with fossil lines :D
That was legitimately one of the worst possible starts to any game I've ever seen. Not just Pokemon Pocket but any TCG ever, and you WON! I don't know if you're the luckiest or unluckiest person alive but that was crazy.
Compare to alakazam, egg requires stage 1 evole, dmg is kinda better when it can 1 shot 100hp pokemon with 1 energy (which ala can't) and need 1 more energy to function (but it's stage 1 evole so...). And Erika as well...
I've been using this deck A LOT, it gave me better results than the new veectribel deck which I also adore, what I like the most about it is the flexibility and versatility. I can win with both exeggcutor and exeggcutor EX and celebi, using or not lilligant.

It's a fire/water deck that can shut down huge threats while being an early game menace. It's 2x new Salandit, 2xnew Salazzle, 2x Snom, 2x Frosmoth, 1x Druddigon, 1x new Tauros, 1x Farfetch'd, 1 Potion, 1x X-Speed, 2x Pokeballs, 2x Professor, 2x Giovanni and 1x Sabrina. Tauros is good into Celebi and the Salazzle line in general especially if you find 2 Salandits early with Giovanni and the poison is just insane. Frosmoth can put Gyarados or Golem or any huge threat to sleep that comes in and you can build up Tauros or Druddigon in the back or Druddigon can just be a wall. Farfetch'd is just a great neutral Lead if you don't have the right energy Potion just to survive two hits. Mew could also be good but I wanted to use Tauros. Would love to here your opinion, or improve on it.
Every turn is a curve, develop on curve, evolve on curve, etc. An example would be attacking on curve with Machamp line as you get to attack on turn while evolving from Machop to Machamp say that you put the energy to it in the process as it requires 1 2 3 energy respectively. There could be a better way to explain it but I hope you get the idea 😅
Playing something the earliest turn it can be played. E g. Evolving a pokemon each subsequent turn (as if you had all three in your hand to start with). This is typically the fastest/strongest your deck can be (if the energy requirement of attack is also incremental)
Mog u can try this deck- 2×drudiggon, 2×(ponyta(new)+rapidash(new)), 2×(froakie+frogadier+greninja)+ sabrina+ leaf+ blue+ blaine +2×prof. Research +2×pokeball. The fact thay Greninja and rapidash both use one energy of their own kind makes this deck good.
I play a similar deck but with serperior and without Celeby. Honestly a pretty consistent deck. I play it with giovanni and no leaf because Serperior will give me the hability to leave the active spot.
I wanna see some more golbat love I can't figure the pieces out but I feel like theres a deck that could stomp the whole metagame using it. I had some fun using marshadow golbat as the threat of golbats dmg means you can't leave it alive but celebi AI deck still stomps me usually due to exeggutor.
But is Lilligant really worth it? I mean, you need to invest 2 energy to attack and in most cases you won't be able to attack more then twice because with 100hp most Stage 1s will 2shot her. You end up with all the effort of evolving a pokemon that most of the times gives you back the exact amount you spent to use it. What am I missing?
Have you tried Chatot + Kabutops +Aerodactyl EX (+ Omastar maybe if possible, i know its dual energy but could be fun to have all 3 fossils in 1 deck). With just fossil pokemon as your other option Chatot will be a guaranteed pokemon in starting hand so you should be able to get those evolutions going faster.
I hate celebi honestly. The thing with pikachu is that it can deal 90 max (100 with giovanni) however celebi is RNG based and can deal 100 damage very quickly. I hate it when a meta threat is reliant on RNG
People usually hate Celebi EX so when i play the deck with it and Exeggutor i am trying to build on Exeggutor instead of Celebii EX. And then i regret it because they just destroy my exeggcute instead and i'm like: fk it no more nice guy i will be building energy on Celebi EX from here on out.

The issue I find with gengar is even with the solid setup, it's 100 damage attack just makes it very vunerable to alot of the meta

I've been running a Mystical island Eggxecutor, Weezing, Salandit deck and it feels great so far.

I would say awful, also def easier to hit with Lilligant and apply grass energy. 2 lilligant hits it’s 100 HP dealt and 4 energy on eggy
