I have my own theory on my previous comment. Maybe Ava took ENVI OUT for whatever reason because she was spying on Mickey Donald and goofy. You can’t forget about that ridiculously strange sequence of scenes in back cover years ago when Donald goofy and Mickey SOMEHOW arrived in daybreak town and met the player and helped repair the gummi ship and Mickey found what he was “looking for “. (Honestly that scene deserves a whole video by itself lol) and it has been proven ENVI was spying on them on top of one of the roofs In daybreak town. (It was actually envis role to observe lol) Maybe Ava was extremely opposed to this for some reason! Maybe I’m looking too deep into all this but it’s kingdom hearts lol.
Hey I'm with ya 😄 That scene was another video I wanted to make but I haven't figured out what I think about it yet. I was leaning more towards making a video about just little things that catch my attention that needs some investigating cause I have a lot of small things that stand out to me.
I don’t think Nomura would make such an obvious mistake. I would be incredibly shocked if he did lol especially like you said - this was an important scene that would have undoubtedly been reviewed carefully. 🧐
I don't like the idea personally but your never know. WHAT IF IT *IS* AVA? WHAT DOES IT MEAN?! What if Ava is shape shifting? No I don't think she's a bad shapeshifter like this. I would like to think she can replicate down to the T unless she somehow forgot Invi's colors👀👀 What if.. it reps INVI also low-key wanting to follow ava? Or maybe.... Hmmmm if they did boringly just change her colors(sad) whyyyyyy?! Why those colors? And this is definitely not a lighting or color surrounding issue either. Just isn't lmao. Ira is right there to prove that. Anyways this one will bother me forever. It's funny because the little illusory image of her, as it is appearing, it is her correct colors, but then she appears and it's not the blueish color. Everyone else is fine.

I was replaying kh3 a few days ago and when i got to this scene i was shocked when i noticed that she was in purple, i do think there may be a deeper meaning than a simple answer like "oh its just lighting"
Honestly I didn't notice the color change and if I had noticed I likely would have said the lighting might have changed her clothing a bit. However now that you have pointed it out I can not unsee it. If it isn't just lighting and the artist trying to make sure she and Ira have different colors during this scene then it likely does mean something. I want to see Invi in different Lighting first just to make sure. Something that isn't Sun Set which always effects how we see color, the new Unreal system is very good at changing color based on the lighting, something which makes the game insanely pretty but also makes it hard to tell what are the actual colors of things. Eye color in particular was very hard to see at times in KH3. Something that is actually really important in KH because the eye color often says a lot about the character, and not just the yellow eyes though that is the clearest example.That said clothing colors for the other foretellers are not affected as much, so in all likelihood Invi is probably wearing Pink which is interesting. Ava doesn't just change into Invi in UX. She is very much a shape changer and can change into any of the foretellers it depends on which one is your union. Though I think if you are in her Union during that scene she turns into Ira but I am not sure. That said we also know that shape changing is a darkness ability as is fading into invisibility which is also something that we see Ava do. Which has honestly always made me wonder if the scenes in which Ava does things like that are Ava at all or if it is the Darkness which we know likes to take Ava's form to do things. The problem is that when those scenes happen Ava is often doing things that she seems to remember in scenes where she doesn't do such things, and in those scenes she doesn't not seem like herself. This is clearly something we want to keep an eye on, however I don't think we have the information to do much more then that
My Union was Ava's and for me she changed into Invi so I thought it was like that for everyone 😮 I didn't realize it changed based on which union you belonged to. It might not hold any weight but the KH Back Cover Novel the player character is in Invi's union. Maybe the author got direction from Nomura to do that for a reason. But yeah we need more info or different ligbting for sure.
It was uncanny when I saw it on my first time seeing the scene in game cause I kept trying to tell myself "Is it jist the lighting? Maybe there’s some filter to the scene that's rly making them look so light/pink?" Cause like how could the foretellers not notice? Especially Luxu
The fact no one mentions her robes makes me think its a lighting issue but it can still be a story piece we are missing. Like if they know she wears those robes as a momento to Ava. Since we don't know anything that happens with the foretellers after the war.
So in the final clash, envi changes her clothes? If that is true this battle was either much longer than everyone thinks, or something happened and the foretellers didn’t die during the war but rather after it.
Its definitely an engine/environmental light thing. The red dust in the air and ground also contribute to affecting the colors. Also lets not pretend that the foretellers were ever that consistent... the eye color on Ira's mask used to be yellow and was changed to red for Back Cover. These models are not rendered with the in-game engine but with the one used for the CGI cutscenes such as the ending. This also explains why Luxu's skin and face look super smooth and a lot less angular than how he looked in KH2/KH3 which is a huge shame because it makes him look a lot younger.
This is definitely the most plausible for sure. I don't know anything about engins or lighting but how come her bow and the crystals on her clothes are still blue? Is it like a texture thing? The crystals are smooth or reflective so they don't lose as much color?

Cloth for example will stay opaque while crystal, metal or other shinier surfaces like hair and eyes get reflective qualities. That is why, for example, most modern games allow you to change the environmental light while you customize your character during character creation. It allows you to see the colors you've picked under different lighting conditions so you're not taken by surprise when, once leaving the CC screen and entering a new environment your character's hair looks either too bright or too dark. Cyberpunk 2077 was notoriously bad at this and a lot of people complained that their character looked nothing like they did in the CC once they started playing.

@@CerberusUnlikeMike Lighting engines aren't perfect, so there can be colors and reflexions that unless set up perfectly wouldn't give the desire effect, besides he does have a bit of brighter color, not a lot but a bit.
@@ultimateshadeofwar honestly this would make sense to me. however, I propose that might not be the case. the back cover movie was made using the same engine and it has all their original colors. it wouldn't be all that hard to correct it to reflect the original colors more, and Invi is the only one changed so drastically. i'm not so sure it was an accident. very few things in kingdom hearts are mistakes, they've put care into things hardly anyone will notice before. i'm curious to see if this will have some meaning later or not.
@@thatguywithanumbrella It wasn't the same engine, Backcover uses the in game engine of KH3, the ending cutscene of KH3 used what's call the CGI cutscenes, which is a different engine more powerful of which they give us the recording of what it was used for. It's the same engine use for the Opening cutscene and the ending cutscene of KH3 and the secret ending of KH3. Which is something being done since KH1, one engine in game, which is less powerful and one use for a few cutscenes more powerful use to record the CGI cutscenes.
