This episode I review my super cool Seiko 5 Day Date watch! This unique Seiko 5 turned out to be very popular that now it is very hard to find or people are selling it for a lot more than I payed for, which is pretty crazy considering the quality of the watch! I purchased snk621 few days back online for $98 us. This is sales price with free shipping from Singapore. This is not the first Seiko 5 family I've owned so I am pleased with seiko's self winding watches. Nov-20, 2023. USA.
Is the water resistance really as bad as they say? I'm interested but the 30m water resistance kinda puts me off a little
I received this watch this past weekend. It's still available on Amazon and Jomashop. I haven't owned a Seiko 5 before, so I didn't know this didn't have the manual wind function. I was curious why it kept stopping the next day, then researched how to wind it. Overall, I like it. Love the dial. The color is awesome and the numbered indices add a fresh look. I also like the placement of the day window. And while the bracelet looks cool, it isn't all that great. It does feel cheap and the edge of the clasp has already scratched the brushed portion of the adjacent link. So, they didn't do a good job with that.

@@nuwanda9455 Yea it has a specific bracelet so not sure if there are any replacements for it. I like the bracelet though, it’s not terrible.

I have 6 1/4 wrist. I bought this to mod but it fit my wrist so well, and looked way better than I thought it would, so I kept it original. Probably the cheapest watch I own but is definitely a favorite. I like the Full day complication, hard to find on a Seiko and I like the band. Another plus is that it's so light and doesn't move around on the wrist.

I have a similar wrist size, did you have to remove any links to fit your wrist?
@@Pixel_Player Yes. It's been a while but I think 1 from each side. My first experience with folded link straps but easy once i figured it out.

I am in love with this watch, especially the dial color, but the diameter is something I don't like.
Its also known as "long day" seiko 5..guess why? I have one and i swapped the case with another seiko 5 with normal 19mm lug width n i hv lots more choice of bracelets n straps n looks lovely..now waiting for a bonklip bracelet to arrive to put it on...

Hey I just ordered one of these because i love the dial but I didn’t even think about the integrated bracelet aspect. Is there any good walkthrough videos how to change cases? I am a newbie I’ll be honest.
Very nice watch, looks very clean the dial and a nice finish to it. Mostly I'm more into a little bit more angular cases but this one looks good 👍

Acho esse modelo estranho, eu sou particularmente apaixonado no Snkl41, já tive um, coloquei uma pulseira de couro de crocodilo (que era mais cara que o relógio em si), um luxo.
I liked the dial but didn't like the casing so I did a modification on it by swapping the case with a SNK657K case and it looks much much better and more expensive.🙂

You would have to find a particular strap for it, not just any strap would fit. Not sure if any are even available for this watch.

Very nice, except that the day window at 6 o'clock ruins the dial. It would have been much nicer with just the date window.
The day window at 6 is the reason I want this watch. Guess it depends on preferences
