I've spent many awesome 80's nights and Cyber Nation nights for decades in that club. It's part of the national historic marks; therefore, it cannot be moved.
This is a tragedy. Hopefully, The #Masquerade owners will get tax breaks, and cheap interest loans to build their dream, The New Masquerade. It would be magnificent, just like a similar effort at The Tabernacle, in Atlanta, would be. 04-20-2008, at The Masquerade, was one of the best nights I've spent out, to see live entertainment. I took my 15 year-old son. One of the best nights of my life. My son loves Megadeth, and can play a lot of their stuff.
