Good start for 2024, , I will achieve my goal in the 1st quarter. Working on it .
Last year was the first year I fully committed to my resolutions and I was rather pleased with the achievements. I have added more to the list this year though I don't want to push it too much, I feel too much will be like the jugular dropping everything. You want to be able to concentrate on a few key metrics and add the end goal. Other easy ones are doing 30 situps every morning (without fail) Last year it was 60 pushups.

The "... so that I can..." part of goal-setting reminds me of writing user stories for software development 😄 It's a good way to remember why exactly you want to implement certain features (not just for the sake of implementing a new feature)
I discovered your channel late December and I am happy I did, I love your content and keep doing a great job. I realize that your videos, you wearing a black top is that deliberate?
I've also just made 4 goals for this year.
1- Buying a bicycle (I'll start cycling to work coz it's a 15minute cycle and I'll ✂️ out transportation costs which will now go towards paying my $500 debt to my mom).
2- Traveling internationally
3- Paying my daughter's school fees for the whole year before 1st October 2024
4- Paying off $500 debt (i owe my mom - so there's no interest).
I've calculated up all my annual income and deducted all my annual bills, and i can achieve these 4 goals before December 31st, 2024

Great Video. I went to order a white board before I wrote this comment - and I thought to my self - No, order the board and then post how good of a video this was and that Im adpoting this for 2024. I already have so much momentum after getting my mind right last month, but this will help me stay on Track!

Oh, I like that 12-week plan thing! I'm going to try to implement it best I can. It won't help me financially as far as I can tell, but one thing leads to another.
Making sense is a lot more fun implementation of that sense made leads to success with focus and clear determination

I have always tried to simplify my goal setting into two:
1. What do I want to achieve?
2. When do I want to achieve this goal?
However, I never thought of adding a 'Why' to my goals. Will do this for all my goals going forward. I feel adding a 'Why' will be my motivator when the going gets tough.
So the formula - what is the goal + when do I want to achieve it + what is my why for this goal.
