First, I wouldn't give my cats any kind of synthetic flavor. But I'm sure BCR is careful about what they give their big cats, and I see no reason why it wouldn't be okay for small cats. I guess you could look up which combination of spices makes up "pumpkin spice", then check to make sure all the ingredients are safe for felines.
I looked it up, and it seems like some of the ingredients on "pumpkin spice" can be bad if cats eat it, but I don't know how much it takes to be dangerous. But what the big cats in the video were given wasn't in the form of food, and they didn't seem to be eating it, only smelling and rolling. You could supervise they to make sure they don't eat it, but frankly I'd rather be careful and just give them catnip instead.
I am very thankful everyday for what BCR does for the cats and for what we do as lovers of big cats. When these cats can live out there lives in safety and in better living conditions, I’m so happy every single day. Happy Turkey Day to everyone out there. 🦃 💖

The serval behaviors with the spice remind me so much of my cat Sierra who, when given cat nip acted the very same way as they did. I lost Sierra on July 4 of this year due to flea meds. She was a rescue cat and only 6 years old. She was my baby and I miss her so, but have to say the memories of her while watching the servals made me smile. Thank you for sharing this video. You guys are awesome!
My cat Freya always wants to see what I'm eating because it might be better than her food. She comes over and sniffs it and if it has even the smallest amount of spice she passes on it. Total opposite of dogs who will just eat anything that goes in front of their face!
How sweet! Now all that's left is to give them their turkeys and Cornish hens on Thanksgiving day for their breakfast. I can't wait to see the newer cats go crazy for their turkeys and hens.

In the wild, they WOULD come across fragrant flowers and barks, etc. (much needed after always smelling the same ole diet ask the time and they can't get in the car and drive to the county. haha) Bless you all. 💚 Smells can be heartwarming, healing and satisfying. A small enclosure idea: maybe have one (or a few) enclosures connected by not tunnels, but rather dens? Like, Have An Opening On either side and each leads to a different part of the enclosure? Just an idea!
I can tell by their behavior that there's a distinct difference between how they react to cat nip and pumpkin spice. Here it seems more tame and for a lack of better term, "chill".
I put our pumpkin pie out in the laundry room (safe from sampling by our 7 felines) to cool, then one of our calicoes meowed by the door for the next half hour!
I'm guessing Breezy, Andre, Sundari, um . . . servals, Pharaoh, more servals, the beautiful Natalia, another serval, a savannah so I'll guess Loki, and Apollo! Yeah, I don't know the servals that aren't Pharaoh.
Hmmm. Quite an effect...I wonder if that's why so many people behave weirdly after Thanksgiving meals. At least , so far, no one rolls around on the table or floor, although that would add "spice" to the dinner.
