I'm going back and I'm watching old videos I've never seen before and I love it. Love seeing how far you guys have come. Proof of living the dream and I hate when you ask somebody what's up and they go living the dream because they don't have a clue but you have a clue You know exactly with the dream is and keep living it Tucker and Sammie!
I'm 69, and my wife is 59. We are survivors. We have done much of what you are doing. All our cars for the last 10 years have come from Craigs list. All of them were in the 900 to 1200 price range. They all lasted from 2 to 5 years each. Minimal fix ups along the way. We junk them for cash. Save for the next car. We both do the local flea market on Sat. and Sunday. Sell stuff on Ebay. I do coins and she does jewelry. Doing well and better still as time goes on.
I am one who understands exactly how you feel about getting your new car. If you have ever gone without, or lived from hand to mouth, you know the blessing of getting something you really need. As far as Google buying your vehicle, I am just happy that my likes and views and comments may have had a hand in you achieving your dream! So happy for you both! I hope it works well for you for a long time.
Sammy and Tucker you guys are simply amazing . You must be the most humble , grateful and kind people on the internet right now. I am from New Zealand and for the most part we are a very peaceful nation . I love watching you live the dream and this is such a massive lesson for people to learn and at such a young age you guys are only shooting for the stars and you are years ahead of most people. Great buy on the new ride. You should get in the habit of checking the fluids every 2 weeks, don't overfill, but keep them level. My wagon is 37 years old and sounds like new. You guys are doing a great job.

So strange the exact opposite just happened to my son. His explorer blew a head gasket, got him within 2 miles of home,had to pay to have it towed. He bought a pickup he found in local ads... 😉 Happy for you hope the green machine gets you as far as Goldie did. 🌹

Love you guys, you are always so relaxed and you appreciate everything in life. I had that exact car year and all, it is a great work horse, just hold on to the wheel in the in the wind, it blows around like crazy in the slightest breeze.
I used to have a 94 explorer. I loved that car and was great on gas. Had a valve cover gasket go bad but other than that it was great. Mine was the same color. The 60/40 rear seat is great. Grease the hinges of the doors bec they get really noisy. Congratulations, hard work does pay of!!

You totally captured the mixed emotion of getting a new/different car. The sucky part of losing the previous one, having to shell out $$$ but when it's all said and done, it's all good. Glad it worked out for ya guys.
I think your ride looks good and seems to eun and drive good, even if you hear a noise or two i wouldn't worry you're going to get that with second handed vehicles, and take it from some one who has had ok vehicles and a few clunkers in the past from the age 19 to now at 49 i know about vehicle headaches lol, now when i buy any i check the motor for oil or any wet spots because that'a don't mean it's real bad all the times but you might give some trouble later down the road, i've also had issues with rusty frames because if the frame rustiest it leads to everything under it rusting, break line, reams and finders everything, but it seems like a nice ride just have someone you trust check it out for ya :)
He would have to have someone look at it. He ran the truck out of oil and threw a rod through the block. Then he bought the ford exploder and didn't look under the hood until hours later. Blew my mind.

It was written in the trail of oil that you were ment to get the great green dream! Do you want a truck again or a van like Taco Stacks? He can have a shit ton of stuff in his van. Maybe with time you should look at a van. Take a look at his scrap videos and fleamarket videos to see how much he can fill up in it. Careful with the back window, don't slam it shut the hinges come loose (had a 98) camping trips are cool too lots of room and they're really insulated well! Coil packs and starters are things that I had problems with, other than that you're good to go!

Congratulations on the Explorer. They are good vehicles. I have owned three of them and never any problems. Just a thought on your old truck but check the oil filter on it. Sometimes when the oil filter is changed the old gasket will separate from the filter when taking it off and will stick to the engine block then when the new filter is put on there will be two gaskets there. They will be fine for some time until one of them finally blows out and oil goes everywhere. The two metal things you found are the exhaust manifold heat shields. Its common for them to rust and fall off. Best of luck and Looking forward to the next video!!

Pull parts like headlights door handles lights etc and sell them on eBay before you scrap the truck

I know the feeling. Last year my 2001 4 wheel drive silverado z71 blew a head gasket. Lots of miles and lots of hard work. She was a good truck.

Im pretty sure filters on the driver side but might be wrong.

Did you try the 4 wheel to make sure it works ? Plus all the other things ,heat,air cond,wipers . ... Got caught that way once
