DESCRIPTION: Welcome back to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Season 4! Today we’re unlocking the brand new weapon prestige camo called “Molten Obsidian” which is an animated version of Obsidian Camo from Modern Warfare 2019. The Season 4 weapon prestige camo requires 200,000 weapon XP to unlock AND it does NOT stack with progress towards One Trick camo, so you need a total of 350,000 weapon XP with new DLC guns in order to unlock both camos. Crazy stuff. Also I unlocked the “Jak Decimator Kit” for the Lachmann Shroud which basically turns it into the MP5SD, neat little secret aftermarket part that SHG didn’t really say anything about lol

@AlienFan25 They're gonna play into the nostalgia aspect of all previous camos for sure. You can bet on it. Fruitpop camo from Vanguard was lowkey fire.
That 10% xp is for the battle pass because you purchased the Blackcell edition of the battle pass (when the battle pass is purchased, it gives you that 10%. It is still double xp.)
Yeah I only caught that when editing lol, but if the skins + party bonuses stack _on top of that_ that’s nuts!
Small correction but the 10% is for either version of the pass. I didn't buy Blackcell and I have it
The 10% is for both battles passes. Doesn't matter if you buy blackcell

hey m3rk,you can get the fullauto conversion kit for lachmann shroud by killing 30 operators with silenced SMG
Something I found interesting in bo4 of all games, is the weapon prestige level up system, you could reset a weapon back to level 1 and regrind the levels for the weapon like you used to when you prestiged, if tinkered with properly I feel like a system like that could be very cool
Titanfall 2 had this same system, it added a decimal point to your weapon level to show the "regeneration" level (prestige).
Bo3 had the same system

This is the first weapon I unlocked One Trick for and now I'm about to unlock Molten Obsidian, we both got it about at the same time. We ❤ the Bal-27. Plunder seems to be the fastest way to progress
I feel like xp rates for weapons In xdefiant would feel great if it worked like this : 15-20 kills to level up your weapon { right now I believe it's 35 } after reaching weapon level 50, it requires you to get 35 kills to level it up.
It would make it easier to get attachments, while keeping the grind in for the camo's.
I believe this makes sense, sorry I'm not the best at explaining things 😅
Spawns need to be adjusted on escort. Games end to fast because the spawns are too far sometimes and teams can just push so easy. I tops get 30 kills in those games while if I play dom or any other mode it’s about 60-70 kills

For anyone wondering if you wanted to get the camos for MW3 weapons only you would need 18.2M XP and if you want to do both MW3 and MW2 then it would be 43.75M XP. So to any camo grinders out there good luck

As useless as the full auto lachmann shroud is, im insanely grateful. I've hated that gun since it came out and I dont really like using burst guns anyways, idc that its nothing special it makes the gun usable for me

FFS those last CoD's gunsmit his treuly abysmal. What was just an attachment in CoD 2019 they turned in to separate weapons. And still man yplayers are complaining about wepon xp grind...
Meantime CoD Mobile has OG gunsmith - ands no one is complaining.
But in Mobile you have SOLID weapon xp bonuses - either 2 hours, 10 matches or 24 (!) hours of 2xp. Which you can get via your player level or playing ranked/BR.
Also you can 2 tier single use xp cards (those simply give certain amount of xp when used). Those tyou can also get by using gun with max rank.
This game has turned into cod mobile essentially. Especially with all the call backs of old gear, camos, guns, maps etc.

Zombies is NOT worth it for purely grinding Prestige Camo XP
Grinding HC Small Map Moshpit, games last, on average, 5-10 minutes, skewed heavily by TDM and Kill Confirmed being in there, and without even going insanely sweaty and just playing the game with my M16, I averaged around 8,000 - 10,000 XP per game
so, with the Zombies gas timer being 45 minutes, splitting the difference between the match times in HCSMM at 7.5 minutes and the score at 9,000 XP, you can complete around six matches in the time it takes to do one full run of Zombies which should net around 54,000 XP
This means, statistically for Zombies to be worth it, each run should have to net you 60,000 - 72,000 XP for it to be a considerable-enough bonus that you'd want to do it over MP (in my opinion)
However, I tested a full run of zombies, albeit not letting the timer run *all* the way down and leaving when there was still one minute left, grinding as much of the highest-XP-gain contracts I could (Escort ACV, Spore Control, Bounty Hunt in terms of XP per time in the contract), as well as using an Ammo Mod and Elemental Pop for the slight boost in weapon XP they both give per kill, and after all that of nigh-exclusively using my M16, that full run of Zombies only netted ~26,000 XP
Oh, and farming exfils was such a negligible amount of XP, I didn't even commit it to memory lol
So Zombies actually nets considerably less XP per minute than just playing Small Map Moshpit (1,200 XP/Min vs. 577.77-XP/Min), and probably even moreso than War, though I haven't run the math on it.
I'm not great at math, but one of the few things I've retained from school is how to do averages and stuff, so I feel pretty okay with my testing and it definitely *felt* slower doing Zombies.
Also, yes, I know this is nerdy as FUCK, but I was bored as hell last night and had just got done getting Borealis on the Kar98K, so I figured I might as well :v
I will be playing XDefiant because I have to reinstall 154gb of MW3 since they can't update this game without breaking it....

Xdefiant isn’t a cod competitor. People are playing it now because it’s something new. It will lose all its fame in 2 weeks as what happens with a lot of recent games.(also not saying that recent cods are good, they ain’t)

Xdefiant is the better more fun game. It’s like old school cod and to me it’s like an old friend finding me again after far too long. I stopped playing cod and even watching it like that but xdefiant is fresh and new and just everything I’ve been asking of cod 😊

Play whatever game you want, I'll watch. That being said, I'm personally more interested in the XD. I haven't really had an arcade shooter to play without the thickest, most rage inducing, SBMM. I quit Cod years ago and XDefiant got me back into the FPS genre.

MP5SD have Subsonic ammo, that doesn't show enemy skulls, something that the normal MP5 doesn't have...Don't get me wrong, is still redundant, but still...maybe someone find this useful...
I dont know what you are talking about because I dont play this game often, but i know a bit about real guns and how different ammo behaves. anyways if its intentional that the skulls dont show its probably because in real life, its hard to tell where a subsonic round came from
It is intentional, is how Subsonic ammo work in this game (and MWII)...And as something of a gun guy myself, I agree that in-game makes some sense.
