A year and a half ago, I was a truck driver with my own paid off truck and trailer, then someone came across the road and pretty much totaled my semi truck.
Their insurance couldn't cover the damages, so my insurance paid me out the small amount I had my truck insured for.
After that, I wasnt in a place to replce the truck, so I ended up starting a lawn care and landscaping business with no prior experience. I did well enough to survive the first year, but my problem is that I don't have income in the winter really.
So this is why I've come to life insurance, because I think this is something I can do that will solve the problem that I have.
a real-life lesson about casualty and property insurance compared to life insurance, hope you can explain that difference to your prospects and you'll be set.
I can see that the real key to success is just taking the time to show people you care, and if you do that with the only intention of helping them if you can, then with hard work and dedication, you will be successful in this field

Yes, but response rates have been hit hard, so it's tough in some markets to pull a strong return.

I am really wanting to get into the business, but I'm curious what is the best way to start out.
You said one of the number one reasons people fail out is because they ran out of money and I could see that as being a new agent and not having a lot of capital you could run out of money really quickly before you get the experience that you need to really be good. So I guess my question is how much money do I need to start, or is there a better way to get the experience without starting independent?
