Hands down this has been the BEST episode so far. I'm not going to walk to get this book, I'm going to run. I too have slowly cut myself off to different family members & friends. We think that we have to accept their bullshit bcuz they r family & we don't. I have noticed a huge change in my peace of mind after I've let people go. I CAN'T SAVE EVERYONE!!! I'm going to watch this again...Thank u Shannon & thank u Savanah for sharing this episode. 👏

I am her, she is me. Currently breaking ties with family.
I am forever going to be healing. I VERY much heard her when she said you can’t heal around those who broke you. I am on this same journey.

When you are a survivor of abuse this all makes sense. I love this episode. I think I was 7 when my abuse started, probably before. I don’t know for sure bc we block it out too.Going forward looking forward to Julie Chrisley being reunited with her family!! 🙏❤️

This is a great episode! For the purpose of constructive feedback- you were cutting Kimberly off at times. There were times I felt she had more to say, but you would finish the sentence for her not really knowing what she was going to say or interrupt her to ask a question. Just food for thought! Love the podcast- keep doing the great work, Savannah! Waiting for my copy of Glimmer to come ❤

As I’ve watched this, you are so right. I love Savannah but that’s so annoying to not allow Kimberly to continue speaking and tell her story.

SAVANNAH AND KIDS!! SO SO SO EXCITED TO HEAR THE NEWS ABOUT YOUR MOTHER! You set out on a mission with God for the truth to be seen, it has been a long hard road for all…BUT IN USUAL FORM GOD HAS ONCE AGAIN STEPPED IN AND RIGHTLY SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT! I feel in my heart that HE will also release your mom so soon and homeward bound she will be! This was GREAT NEWS FOR YOU ALL! Let’s praise 🙌 him for all he does!!! And I also know this is half the puzzle but the pieces do fall into place! I hope and know this was such a great relief for nanny Faye as well as her heart is full with joy!! I hope this will help you guys start your final road to recovery, healing and know the truth does and will come out as it is his will and love!!💗

It has been my experience that families/tribes/villages/churches will not cast out their abusive members. There are too many members who benefit overall. Often times, victims have to find the strength and power to walk away from the group. It sucks. Believe me. But it is the healthiest thing to do.

I read the book and I wanted to ask about the time her aunt goes to her mom so Shannon’s grandma and asks why her dad Shannon’s grandpa isn’t speaking to her so she’s getting the silent treatment then grandma goes he has to be careful now you guys are grown up?! Like she’s admitting she knows and is okay with it and doesn’t care. To me they were psychopaths cared about these fancy dinner parties so they can seem fancy then let grandpa take everyone in the basement. Grandma saw even photos of kids boys too she’s sadistic. She made Shannon sleep with her and watch her cry at her shrine of the pedo I think because she knew Shannon was empathic and was jealous of her they all were. I didn’t know she helps with her sisters mortgage payments and she had the nerve to say that to her. I’m glad she’s done with then I hope she cuts them off financially. My sister was always cruel to me I hid in my room with the door locked. Even as an adult she’s abusing me my parents saw it denied she did anything always pretended like nothings happening. She called me the b word even my dad’s response was I don’t know why you two never got along. Maybe cause you never called her out enabled her and even made me think I’m the problem. She waited till everyone would leave the room and go you know your the worst right. I called her out and she’s only being nice now because she is such a perfectionist and can’t see herself being abusive. She was and I still hide in my room and take them blame and got major issues from her.

    Dear wifey Lady's
I love you too. I just want you to know i hear you an i support you in those deep dark moments of despair and uncertainty. You are Gorgeous you deserve the best and to be respected. Its not easy being in our shoes your either but its for a reason. All the adversity we faced was stupid just a trick to get us of track. Its not about wether it worked or not but about what life threw our way. I go through things like being naive and still keep my head up we have just a little more to accomplish an we will be happy we can't settle for jobs that secure us because we work our assses of we are stars and that is what we are built for. Gorgeous means gorgeous not trashy not 23 % i gpt your back stay safe stay beautiful and lets get this road paved. You are in my heart my middle class queen with lots of homegirls who love a Beautiful young man. Not strings attached no non sense i am yours.

Savannah, I grew to like your family from watching your show, Chrisley Knows Best. I was saddened to learn of the your parents' incarceration and all that your family is undergoing. While I don't know if they committed any crimes or not, I pray that the Lord will strengthen, encourage, renew, redirect, and have mercy upon them and upon all of your family. Continue to trust God and know that God's mercies are new each morning and your best is yet to come if you "faint not".

You have to learn to not cut someone off when they are speaking when you do not allow someone to finish what they are saying and butting in thinking you know what they are going to say next when you really don’t you make it a lot less exciting to watch and listen. It’s annoying honestly! Speak when it’s your turn. So many ppl have mentioned this and you still do it. You either are aware and you just don’t realize when you do it or you simply just don’t care

That's what I was looking for to see if Savannah said anything since it was vacated/ overturned shouldn't Julie be released til resentencing??? Or maybe keep her there til then that way more time and then with a even more reduced sentence she could definitely get out with time served I'm really hoping that's the case !!! She's been through enough already but it's all over the net her sentence vacated in appeal so let's just pray she's actually out ASAP small victory's lead to bigger ones I hope praying for Julie to get home to her family ASAP she's already been through enough already

They did wrong but forgiveness for you is for you not them. I am a survivor of Stat rape and rape and being ganged raped at 13 14 but I forgave them for what they did to me so I could move forward. Did mom mom know what was going on know because they painted me a lair but I am stronger now then ever but will always have moments
