- The Monk was designed by Nigel Kaines and created by Blacksmith Kevin Baldwin of Designs On Metal for a sculpture exhibition in The Crypt of the Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds in 2022 to celebrate 1,000 years since the founding of the Abbey of St Edmund.
A sneak peak was given to visitors on the weekend of St Edmund's Day 2021. This stunning drone footage was taken by Paul Smith Wildlife & Landscape Photography ( / paulsmithwildlife . The Monk will be back on display in the Abbey Gardens in May 2022.
