Just bought a fully equipped RAV4 XSE last month, with panoramic sunroof, digital rear view mirror, dashcam and panoramic view camera, makes parking in the garage an easy task.
Thanks for the comprehensive overview - I ordered mine last week and am watching videos to tide me over til it gets here in a few weeks. I don't see any mention of the ambient lighting being able to be added for mine, but I also see that on the Toyota site right now, it lists it as being standard on the XSE, so I'm really hoping mine has it!! I've got it in my MINI and it really is a nice touch.

I just bought one and traded in a 2014 Ford Focus ST with some performance modifications, This thing is definitely not as powerful as the ST but it does have a good amount of power for overtaking, it has almost no lag when flooring it, and has solid torque. I am enjoying mine so far. The 2024 Toyota Venza Hybrid drives the same if you are able to test drive one of those, I went with this model due to it being cheaper fully loaded, and the venza having some odd interior design choices I was not very fond of. Plus this rav4 looks way more sporty than a venza.
This is the best-looking trim of the Rav4 Hybrid, especially in this color. The only feature it doesn't have that my 2018 Rav4 Hybrid Limited has is the memory seat function, which I never use anyway. I don't understand why Toyota saw fit to delete a pocket off of the driver's seat back. Otherwise, if I decided to trade in my 2018, this would probably be the model of choice, though I would add the JBL stereo speakers upgrade that's not included in the option package for the vehicle reviewed.
I live in a big city with 4 large Toyota dealerships close to me. I want to buy the XSE trim loaded with options. Specifically what Toyota calls the Advanced Technology Package #3. The problem is that the dealerships get very few Rav4 hybrids in the XSE trim. And the ones they do have are mostly white color and don't include all the options I'm looking for. Basically I want a XSE that's loaded and in a color other than white. When I do find a XSE with the options I want, the price will be approaching $50K out the door. How I wish for the good ole days when I could give the dealer a list of all the options I want and they would order it for me.
This has softex seats, the Camry se has cloth seats. Unless the Camry se seats are upgraded for the 2025 model year. Either way Toyota only offers Cloth or softex in all their vehicles.😊
Enjoy your RUclips channel. I just bought this RAV4 hybrid. Has 75,000 miles on it. Concerned about battery. I hanever been able to get the battery to show full charge. Recently on a trip on the interstate this, in the picture is the best it would do. When it gets to three empty bars from top it starts using from the battery. Is this normal? Is there an adjustment needed for that.? I could figure out how to send the picture. What it is the picture of the engine running the car at 74 mph. Also pulling voltage from the battery with only 4 bars of battery. The battery level never gets higher. I had driven on interstate 30 minutes when picture was taken.

The huge screen and the Infotainment Screen could go in my opinion. The Physical Buttons are a huge +. Hopefully, the Controls and Electronics are not Intrusive. Can I get a Basic New car without all of these Electronics that could break. The more bells and whistles you have in a system. The more that can go wring. A Manual Transmission would be a nice option as well and Head Lights that I can turn off for example. A single switch not a electronic one is what I would like to see.
The fabric part of the seats is a poor design, that’s exactly where something you spill goes. The lane centering and steering assist are dangerous if there is construction and there is no way to completely disable them. You can shut it off each time the car is turned ON but that is annoying if you forget OR come upon unexpected construction or an accident.

We have a 2022 Rav4 Hybrid LTD and we really like it. We average 42.3mpg over the 33,000 miles so far! completely amazing!

The XSE is a strong contender for my next vehicle. Just waiting for my local dealer to get a hybrid for me to test drive.
I was looking to test drive this trim, but I'm having a hard time finding one on the lot. I've called 3 dealers in my area.
I traded in my Subaru Impreza for a 2023 XSE last year, not happy with it.

The battery is never supposed to show full. That's normal
