I don't blame Harlan Sanders one bit for being upset, but even when I was a kid in the 1970's it was still great and the aroma of the chicken made my mouth water every time I entered the restaurant. Nowadays the quality is worse and its vastly overpriced. I miss the old Kentucky Fried Chicken and hate the modern day KFC.
Yeah, I love the long, combination of businessman history, and food history is killer. Especially the length would be cool occasionally thrown in! 🤟🏻😊❤️💯
Same. But popping popcorn over an open fire, in a fireplace, or stovetop is not at all difficult and I've done all 3 even though we got a microwave in the mid 80s or so. I can even remember what the Orville redenbacher box of popcorn kernels look like it was white and it had like the shape of a television and said like TV popcorn on it with his picture! We never even had an air popper because it was so unnecessary 😂❤
@ that sounds so cool man I grew up in the 2000s and missed out on cool 70,80 packaging it’s so cool looking no stupid warning labels everywheee and disclaimers
I swear like a sailor and it’s kind of funny because my mom doesn’t swear but every time I’m around, it brings it out of her and it’s hilarious! A nice church going woman swearing like a sailor is hilarious. Don’t care who you are. It’s funny 😂
Fascinating. This compilation offers a great deal of new information. Excellent stuff. Thank you. I am aware of Col Sanders at least. A KFC opened up in the late 1990s in a nearby town. The place has since closed. It was never packed, but the food was better than Maccy D's. As for the rest; Nope, never experienced them. Did North Americans really accept a small dog as a Fast Food mascot? I find that hard to swallow. Chef Boyardee? I thought this was a fabrication for the movies, much like 555. Kool aid Man; Aside from the wrongful association with Jonestown there was Family Guy to make this brand known to us. Did they ever try to sell Kool Aid in the UK? Blackcurrant juice has flooded the market over here. Mac the Knife? That sounds Mental. Maccy D's is unpopular enough, without the need for more grotesque mascots. That Roland McDonald scares the Bejesus out of children. It is always fun to learn what has been going on across the pond. Cheers.
Having ANOTHER Weird History drink! Drinking Sprecher Ginger Ale*†...while watching this Weird History video! It has a penguin image on the front...their mascot should be Dindim from the movie My Penguin Friend! This is my celebratory drink for the presidential election! * Inspired by the Weird History videos about soda and mascots! † It is in a 16 oz glass bottle from Menards.

I might have missed it, but have y'all done one for Tastykakes? Having grown up in PA, now living in WA, I miss them so much.

My mom met the Colonel whilst working at KFC in the 70s. She says he was extremely polite and charming.
...how close do you look to the Colonel?
The centipede will always be my favorite food mascot
The Arch Deluxe is back and Chicken Big Mac.

I'm old enough to remember Colonel Sanders in all of the KFC commercials, until he passed in 1980.
A+ video!
LOVE IT! Fantastic Food Mascot Odyssey!
Col Sanders sounds like a real life Buck Strickland
Pepsico aka Yum! Foods now owns it.
Act 2 movie theater butter slaps and pop serect got that spicy and hot one which is fire
Sanders had a salty tongue and Volcanic temper.
Sanders is related to me. All my family is from Henryville, Otisco, Maysville and Nabb/ New Wash
I went to school with a girl whose last name was Wrobleski. I wonder if she was related to chef Boiardi's (Boyardee) wife?🤔
these mascots are weird
please make weird food tie ins next
I am forever on teen Popeye's Louisiana kitchen😂😂😂
What about the Magical Burger King and his cast of characters that appeared on commercials in the late 70s?
McDonalds was owned by Brothers sold to Ray Kroc.
Tell 'em where you're from, Colonel.
Straight outta Corbin.
Unlucky Fried Kitten.
We'll be electing cartoon mascots next.
Yeah good thing we didn't elect the cartoon mascot that was running this time .
Didn't we just do that? We just elected a blonde Cheeto
@@alexr.138 no your think of laughing girl . 🤣🤣🤣🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Noid for president
@augustuswayne9676 huh? She didn't get elected and she's also not blonde....
The Taters like Library Paste and the gravy Crap! That is his critique.
If anyone ever thought Mac Tonight was a favorite food mascot, get them some help. 😂
Hey! 😩

My maiden name is Bushnell ❤❤❤

Not like that anymore, have you seen your local Kentucky fried chicken? 😂🤮
Oh no not Hank Steel
Tom Blanks voice is off here too.
Harmons in Salt Lake City still claims to be the original KFC
is that moonman?
you though it was invented by some site instead of being "borrowed"?
Put some respect on Mac Tonight's name.
Nah that's Hank Steel. Look him up he makes great music.
♫ Moon man moon man can't you see..♪
They should created an animatronic piano restaurant called Mac Tonight!
I have to laugh. I'm 67 now, and really didn't like Col. Sanders the person even as a youngster. He seemed mean and I assumed racist.

Imagine seeing ads about watermelon, but only black communities in the ad alone. How would that make others feel? Lmfao - Oh wait..
