begins talking about why he didn't make music with Lecrae at 15:30
you're welcomed!
thank u lol
MUCH appreciated lol
hh thank u bruh
H4RD Knight you the real mvp
bet
This is why I mess with Jin, I've seen him from those 106th and Park days to now, and it's just awesome to see how he strives to more humble and grateful for what god has done.
First time seeing mc jin in front of camera talking about his faith... And he's been a household name here in hong kong for the last 5 years. I'm fully convinced of the change he experienced under god, this is amazing stuff, huge testimony.
Jin's heart though. Dope.
There's maturity and humility mane.
Watched this video again today. It was dope. I understood stuff that I feel like I did not understand or listened to the first time I watched it.
This is amazing... I remember when Jin got signed onto Ruff Riders, I was so proud! A Chinese American rapper on a real music label, releasing real albums, becoming known as an MC beyond his Asian background.
I wasn't Christian yet at that time, but neither was a he. Somehow our testimonies are rather parallel~
And now, he's a Christian rapper making Christian Hip-Hop music? I couldn't be prouder and more amazed at how God works in such mysterious and detailed ways. Praise the Lord~ I learned a lot listening to this interview!
I think I get it and it all comes down to the heart of why we do things. Do we do things to honour Jesus Christ? Or do we do them out of the secret desires of our heart? What Jin is saying is that he approached Lecrae with an honest intention of reaching more Christians but he feels like the guys who are approaching him, seem to be approaching him to use him for their own good. I guess when the time is right and Jin knows then he will collab with those guys who send him a track or ask for his collab.
No matter what, I just pray that whatever happens, God will guide him and keep him strong against temptations. Those who have a greater faith and influence tend to be tempted more.
God bless Wade-o and Jin forever keep serving Christ dont let the Devil stop you
Great interview. Thank you Wade O and Jin for a stellar interview.
Excellent interview!!
I loved this interview and praise the Lord for you guys. I liked when Jin brought up the example of proclaiming your faith loudly verses living it quietly, and that he is seeing the need for both. The Bible tells us it is about where the heart is. When we proclaim our faith we have to ask ourselves, are we doing this to get glory for ourselves or for the glory of our God. I am just pleased to see he truly is taking the time to understand the Scriptures, glory to the Most High.
This is an organic and pure understanding of true motivation. Why do you do what you do? Great interview.
Fantastic and Thorough Interview. Probably the Best Interview session I've Heard from Jin.
finally some good wholesome content out there on RUclipss! Thank you, thank you!
I'm still new to the Christian Rap world, but I have mad respect for this movement, and can't wait to see more videos, and hear more of Jin's music. Great interview!
Nice interview real insightful.
I was in school with Jin at NMB Sr. High. Took a few summer classes with him while he was a Senior and I was a Sophomore. He was very smart back then and focused on his music way back then. He used to rock the classrooms with his freestyles where the teachers used to let him rock out.
t'was a breath of fresh air listening to him. Bless you, brothers!
I enjoyed this. I'm going to purchase some of Jin's work... Thanks for sharing.

Good interview, now I will check out your music, never heard of ya, but you talk like ya got sense.
Wonderful Voice MC Jin
Really blessed to hear this brother gave his life to the Lord. I am shocked and yet the Lord continues to show me he can grab anyone and bring them to himself if they would only heed the call. Will be keeping you up in prayer Mc Jin, I remember when it was just jin and I was a fan of your work then.
I have even more respect for Jin than before. Humble guy. Praise God!
GREAT interview
Very go interview and yes Phantik book is a good read finished it myself definitely opened my eyes and help me realize I'm on the right track
You know I was doubting Christian rap for a bit but then I remembered that being a hypocrite is not being a Christian. people say lecrae is a fake but lecrae still honors and worships the one who gave him every blessing he has received god bless brother
This is awesome! That was inspiring to me and I grew up in church (PK). Your testimony is real and not fabricated by a "single moment". God bless you for trying your best to take the high road, no matter what the cost.
BTW, I'm an aspiring musician and I have a track... naw I'm just play'n. I am a musician, though, and I have to ask myself that question all the time. Am I truly doing it to glorify God or to have people praise my work?
Anyway, God bless this show and God bless Jin for having the courage to do what you do.
Gonna pray open doors for Jin to collabe with Lecrae, No Malice, and other christian hip hoppers!! Everything is possible in God and God's timing is beautiful!
That's right! Searching for opportunities can sometimes prevent us from allowing God to use us right where we are. He delights in using us in situations where we don't think we can be used. The end result helps to shape us into something we never would have thought of on our own.
Great interview!
Jin is real, i remembered he conversated with me via Twitter like a couple of yrs ago. Str8 up cool and i'll nvr forget it.
Really good interview.
Haha MC Jin is always enthusiastic when it comes to interviews , lovin this haha
Hey brother this is a very good piece. I enjoyed this very well. Thanks for the interview post. I appreciate it for myself. Peace.
Yo Rolly.
Amen! Bro
This was a very intellectual conversation from Jin. Great interview
Spirit led lifestyle! God bless you Jin!
Never heard of MC Jin, but extremely clear and it completely makes sense on how he does business. God first, but we need to pray that are motives are pure.
Real Talk. Thank for this.
Well spoken.
oh, i love it!
wow!! i like the transparency! i too am a young aspiring gospel artiste/minister and i think that i can definitely relate to the big fish small fish syndrome. I think that any beginner will however approach in a manner that clearly defines both parties status in relation to the magnitude of the platform that the other artiste has. it's like, we believe in what we are as believers and what we can do but when we think about a collaboration with a big minister we suddenly see our own situation, position and doubt that with just a sling and some stones we can kill the giant (giant being an almost formidable situation or something that may seem unattainable). however, the culture of the BUSINESS aspect of the industry is what sets up that separation and also the some of us as artistes get so big that we detach from humanity....not bashing anyone though, i know it takes alot of time to link with fans and stuff but sometimes it's just so impossible. That is why the focus, well for me is to run to the source, Jesus y'all....if i could just touch the hem of his garment. it is good to have role models but it's just heartbreaking when the person u look up to won't even reply. Big up to Mc Jin though.he sorta balances everything cool enough. I am a big back in da day crossmovement fan! i loook up to them and they without knowing it shaped and mentored many others and myself in that pivotal era that transformed the gospel industry. they brought it uniquely. And i think that there is a need for more mentorship in the kingdom of God. how else will the younger ones learn.Pride gotta die!
I really enjoyed and got alot out of this video. Didn't know who MC Jin was until now but I'll be on the lookout for him. It seems like God's really working in his life. I love when the kindgom wins someone from hollywood.
Love his heart !
This, I love so so much...
I love Jins integrity and transparency
This is the most truth i have heard in gospel
Great interview, never heard of this guy.
Jin has a lot of Godley Wisdom I pray that God continues to expand his ministry.

One of my favourite rappers 👉
Love what you doing bro... awesome stuff. Hey this stuff should be aired on tv too, what do you think?
No doubt. Inbox me if you have some leads
The Wade-O Radio Video Channel no doubt, on it.
Listen people let's face it we all fall short and we all visit selfish moments/periods in our life...regardless it should never be about self or feelings but all about uplifting Christ/Lord and the Kingdom...Period!
This is so true and so real
I remember those James ther my favorite at super church an little light of mine I'm going let it shine whoooooo those are true worship songs
Glory to God for you Man love your Vibe.
People have different callings and it is shallow to down someone's calling because one don't understand that ministry, but there is purpose and need for it. There are obviously anointed people who rap and I have seen the power of God move in Christian rap concerts. God is omnipresent, not to be limited or boxed. God is good! Glory be to His name!
if you are who you say you are God will give the increase, dont worry about doing a colab with someone put in the work earn it in the faith all you need is God
Love the triangle on your shirt
one thing i know and is truth, that no matter who you are as an artist or brother in the faith we have to labor together united in Christ Jesus the Word is not for sale neither is His message the industry has made it so; when we labor together God will provide through offerings or other brothers who want to sow into the kingdom of God and yes He will provide. I do feel that if you are an artist help your brother establish himself or maybe mentor Him therefore you can also reap a harvest but only because you are an artist doesnt mean you are better than anyone we are all the same and as iron sharpen iron we must do the same God bless ya'll
Yo!! Jin lowkey predicted the huge rift in CHH right now. Like, damn! God blessed you with some wisdom, brother!
I don't know about anyone else but I just want to go see these guys do their thing and just let that be that. Fellowship is way more fun than trying to get some track out of it all.
Note what Jin says "the reality is we are ALL broken" secular, gospel, saved, unsaved and He goes on to say "its up to us to recognize Gods grace (in our own lives) and appreciate those who have not come to that space as yet...."
Where can I get MC JIN'S fresh "PRAY", snapback!
+Samuel Appiah and that shirt!?!
Yo Jin, I appreciate your comments. They were straight up 100!
god bless
God reigns!
That's right!
The final point - the change - IS a 'lightswitch moment'.
Praise God for Aunt Kathies all over the world placed as candlelight sticks in dark places in many of our families.
I dont know if it's just me or b.c. of all the negativity surrounding Lecrae on RUclips, but the headliner of this video doesn't do it justice. The first thing im thinking is ohhh man somebody else got a problem with Creezy.... but this is actually another great interview and testimony on Jin's spiritual grow and perspective changes in n out of the CHH Industry. Great video Wade-O!!!!!
MC Jin is a great guy; really genuine off camera. I've had an opportunity to work with him and he really walks out what he's saying. My team didn't have a whole lot of capital for a collab, but Jin still hopped on the track, (soundcloud.com/jamardawson/re-new-feat-mc-jin). I'm really grateful of his voice in this industry.
I feel you Jin. i can't collab with everyone either & i don't want to hurt feelings when i have to say no.
Love your perspective, your on piont at least that's my opinion.
Realy like the sweater. The whole animals and triangle representing the trinity of the guy up stairs, haa clever! Anybody know where i can get one??? #4real
You sure it's the trinity of the guy upstairs?
further the kingdom jin! to god be the glory
I've always loved Jin.
Tht's my boy Christon Gray singin tht theme song
Kuddos to Lecrae for guarding what God has given him. From what I gather, Jin is a new believer. There are videos on youtube of him tearing someone down in a rap battle (cursing and tearing down) just a little over a year ago. I'm sure that as Jin waits it out, serves and lives the life that God has given him with a pure heart, that Lecrae might consider timing to be better. He is a talented man that God will use in time.
Come on lecrae. All the glory belongs to God, but we still wanna c lecrae n jin in a track
1 Samuel 16:7
"But the LORD said to Samuel, "Don't judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The LORD doesn't see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
God knows our hearts, do not judge a man by another or by what they wear. Do not love the things of the world, but embrace the world in a way in which you can relate to others, to do Gods works.
I'm not into believing in god, but Jin has matured a lot which I give him respect. He was young in his "Gangster" days and now he doesn't even talk like one. He speaks humble. So many artists are in their 30's and 40's and still act like they are childish hood kids lol.
Kyle SoSik true about the las sentence but hear this, who so ever don't believed in GOd or the devil is a big fool...
Ok if i was in the music industry Jin, Tonic, DaTruth, Trip Lee, Erica Cumbo, Sean C. Johnson and andy mineo would be my go to rap artist EVERY time.
I feel him, this was a personal project for Lecrae. I think his next project's gunna have joint with Jin!!!!!!!
