They said the same shit about Rone. Rone and Pat were best friends. Of course he wasn't gonna DF like he normally would if Pat was still here. Jin was on another level at one point to. That night was about Pat and they all did him justice.
Pat really brought all these legends back on stage 😢 it breaks my heart he ain’t here to see something everyone came together to honor him. RIP Pat Stay 🕊️❤
Let's be fair, guys. Y'all got to remember that Jin has not been a part of the battle/freestyle world for quite some time now. The guy is a full-time family man, as he stated himself. This was also a friendly, last-minute tribute dedicated to Pat Stay, so what more were you all expecting? Cut the guy some slack. Just appreciate the event as a whole, and the dope show that was well put together by Organik and KOTD.
Shout outs to people who get what a tribute/charity event means lol. No ones trying to end anyone’s life here. Class act from both truly honoring Pat. The fact they both showed up and did this was a moment I’ll always be grateful I got a chance to witness live. Blessings
Man Jin is my guy!!! Been following my man since forever, even through his religious and overseas days. This man is a legend. Can’t believe he returned and I didn’t hear anything about it.
What some of y’all younger fans just don’t get is how he was running through emcees, especially when freestyling off the top was the norm. There’s an old Angryfan007 interview (maybe from around ten years ago) where he was interviewing Serius Jones, and they asked him to speak on Jin. The first thing he said was that Jin deserves a lot of credit and was the first to get $100k from battle rap, because remember he won two of those major Fight Klub battles (not the MTV one) and got $50k each, and remember when he won the second one (where he beat Professor Green), he offered to put up $10k to rematch Serius Jones (who was there but had lost to Professor Green) onstage right then and there, but Jones didn’t accept. He did say that the time he battled Jin before getting called out (on the Fight Klub that did end up on MTV), he actually was a little scared to battle Jin, not in a weak way but just in the sense that he knew how witty Jin was and how he could say one thing and just get the crowd to erupt. Obviously Jin’s style is both rusty and just not modern (as he was at his peak damn near 20 years ago), so you can’t expect him to just jump into the ring and just be on point after not really battling (as the Wildin Out stuff is just ehh). Just think of how dated 80s rappers sounded in the 90s.
Jin not trash he's living a life we're he doesn't want to contradict his religion. You can feel the positive coming from him. He doesn't have that hungry from the slums underdog or hood champ type vibe anymore
It’s really sad how these new battle rap fans don’t know when it’s time to judge a battle/battle rapper and when it’s time to appreciate a legendary moment in battle rap. Both of these LEGENDS did this to honor their friend, this shit is incredible. Anyone with a different opinion is a clown.
Mac said yes to this battle then took an 8 ball to the dome. That round is fucking insane. That being said. Jin is God tier. Him coming out in this battle and being able to still hit. Shows he is a legend.

Crazy to think how many people in the crowd and watching on RUclips don't have any clue who Jin is. I remember when he battled Iron Solomon and that was pretty much when battle rap went from mostly freestyle (Jin) to written (Iron).
I vividly remember seeing Jin on Freestyle Friday for the 1st time in high school in 02. It's super cool to see him battling in it's current form over 2 decades later.
Illmaculate won this battle, but Jin proved he can still get down. Hope this ain't the last of him. He was a dangerous freestyle battler , so hopefully he can show us his pen game.
If I were to perform at my dead friend's memorial event I wouldn't come with trash bars... I'd try to write the best I ever have to honor him, his family, and his legacy. I feel like every battler in this event just wrote their shit in 10 mins and half-assed it. I was extremely disappointed in every battle I've seen so far. And this isn't KOTD's fault. The battlers here just fell flat HARD. I can tell everyone of em except Hallohan and Illmac put almost no effort into it. Hallohan gave his all. Illmac put effort into it and was light-hearted. The rest that I've seen so far... Not a good look. I feel like everyone saying "this event is gonna be hard to top!!" are coping since this should have been a heart-felt event, but it wasn't. I know everyone knows in their hearts this shit fell flat. It's sad for KOTD. The fact that they did this for Pat is beautiful and dope. I wish the battlers would have actually tried. It's possible to be light-hearted, have fun, and also not bring trash bars.

And Pat held his own and gained hella respect from me. Then I saw him FINALLY battle outside of Canada and face Danny on RBE (ARP said Pat picked Danny, he really liked and respected him) and they gave us an absolute classic. Point is: Pat just kept getting better. It’s a tragedy such a young man with a family lost his life so senselessly. Scratch beneath the surface and it saddens me as a fan but also for Pat that his best days really were ahead of him.
Jin....a true legend of the game. I have a lot of respect for that dude and the things he achieved. Illmac is of the same vane. Both legends in their own right.
