This is some of the best lute playing I have ever heard. And the early Italian repertoire here is rarely ever performed. These little lute dances and fantasias are sublime.
Paolo's tone and touch is organic, real, and intimate. One of the best sounding lute recordings I've ever heard. Bravo!!!
