This whole "why do gay people always have to be involved" shouldn't even be a thing anymore and Buzzfeed is not "hip" for doing this. Having a gay ex is not any different than having a straight ex, it's something everyone experiences, be that person gay, straight, bi, demisexual or whatever.
It's the same exact thing.

Y'know, that's actually pretty good advice. When I see an ex, I always freak out by the many possibilities that could happen. But you really should just look at it objectively, and remember the reason why you broke up in the first place.
What it's like to see your ex? I go through all those thought processes when anyone asks to meet up with me. If as ex wanted to see me I'd probably stage my own death or pretend I ran away to some tribe in the middle of nowhere.

THIS is exactly how I felt when I met my ex for the last time. I finally saw him for the person that was there, not someone I fell for in the past. It felt like he was a totally different person and I despised spending time with him. He wanted to be friends but I can't see how it was possible. I didn't want him in my life anymore. That's how I knew it was finally over.

It's the exact same video either way. It being about two gay people doesn't make it unrelatable to straight people. It would still be relatable to gay people with ex's if the video were about straight people. You can still relate, just swap the gender. I have friends straight and gay that went through the same situation. When I watched the video I couldn't stop laughing! Thank you so much!!. I also like how videos break with the ridiculous idea that gays and lesbians hate each other and they do not share things in common. We are a minority group in society, we still have a long way to go and be fully accepted, we souls be more supportive of each other.
