I'm surprised the girl managed to find her way on the connection link without getting electrocuted - that means she managed to cross from the tower to the line at least once. I have a hard time imagining how someone could cross an isolator without getting zapped... unless the power line got shut down before she got there both for safety reasons and to avoid extensive repairs.
To be fair, that guy leaning his ladder on the power line is more likely to die of electrocution than falling due to the line snapping. That bundled insulated cable is pretty damn strong (except of course when the insulation fails and it melts).
If I was a passenger on that plane, I'd have been tempted to start taking bets with everyone on board as to how long that idiot could hold on. Forget about alerting the pilots, lol 😆

A few years ago when cleaning up the banks of a flooded river I saw an idiot completely disregard the warning signs and go through all the water and debris to get to the other side. Never mind the small fact there was a bridge not very far away, he just had to do it his way. Smh. Mind you, there was another one involving that same river and this one wound up being a Darwin award candidate. Being chased by the police, he thought swimming across the river would let him escape. The river wasn't very far across at that point but the current is deceptively strong. Now how you think that worked out?
In Arizona, during monsoon season, when all the dips are flooding, we have a "stupid driver law". It's used many times each year when they have to go rescue a person from a car submerged in rushing water. lol

So these military guys decide that there military vehicle can make it across- - NOPE‼️ Bystanders had to help them. Someone used their cell phone and took a video, which was shown on the local news.

I'm not a complete idiot but instead of seeking out a ladder to rig my ai conditioner from the outside of the house I decided to stand atop an empty paper recycling bin 6 Ft. tall and made of black plastic. I was 10 seconds from finishing when I collapsed inward from the plastic warping due to sunlight and my body weight. Once inside the container rolled in the opposite direction where the neighbour's electrical meters and steel pipes were going to mash my face, so I covered my face with my arms with my body twisted to see where I was going to land. I hit the ground so hard that I had to get a Hip Replacement. I swear it's true. Now I have a Titanium right hip but to the credit of top notch Canadian Surgeons, I don't even limp now... Yeah, now I take the time for all safety precautions.

I'm not a complete idiot but instead of seeking out a ladder to rig my ai conditioner from the outside of the house I decided to stand atop an empty paper recycling bin 6 Ft. tall and made of black plastic. I was 10 seconds from finishing when I collapsed inward from the plastic warping due to sunlight and my body weight. Once inside the container rolled in the opposite direction where the neighbour's electrical meters and steel pipes were going to mash my face, so I covered my face with my arms with my body twisted to see where I was going to land. I hit the ground so hard that I had to get a Hip Replacement. I swear it's true. Now I have a Titanium right hip but to the credit of top notch Canadian Surgeons, I don't even limp now... Yeah, now I take the time for all safety precautions.
