I've been trying to reach out over Instagram about where you found notes for Bucimis...
Thank you! My mandolin teacher actually taught Bucimis to me:)
@@emmabordersmusic Oh wow! Welp, nevermind then haha.
When you go into the first hook (and most of the proceeding ones), it feels like all of the instruments besides the fiddle go into smooth jazz mode, whereas the original goes rock out mode. Was that a conscious decisions to back off on the other instruments and not dig in with some big strums? You start rocking out more at the end, though it still feels like the guitar in particular is a dynamic level below what it feels like it should be, but perhaps that is partially down to it not being a punchy dreadnaught.
Great work! You have a lot of really great dynamics going on. It just feels like you could be pushing the explosive bits harder to satisfyingly widen out the dynamic range.
I was thinking the same thing.
👏 Okay, this is awesome. Wow!!! Your very talented 🔥
Thank you!
Very talented
I subscribed to your channel!
Aw thanks so much!😁 I just now realized who this comment was from😂😂
Dang!!!
This is phenomenonal. Not an easy song to figure out! What tuning is your octave mando in?
Thank you!! My octave is tuned the same way a standard mandolin is tuned-G, D, A, E :)
Oh interesting! I had always thought he was playing in a different tuning for this one. Thanks!
This is terrific! You should cover something from their new album! Maybe To the Airport
Thank you!
Wow! May I add some piano? 😁
