I want to make a note here that the script the bots are using in this video is not very common. I was able to grab 4 different bots in Iron Marches. Some have adapted and the bots that are still using it are likely to be picked up by someone before you get there. You might get lucky and find one, but it doesn't happen all the time. I feel lucky that I got as many as I did. That being said, I plan on showing various techniques, some of which will be harder for the bots to adapt to. By the end of this series, I am hoping that you will have enough tools that you will be able to kill bots like one solves a puzzle. Sometimes there will be easy kills, other times will be impossible or require a lot of patience and strategy.
Me and a new friend actually found a bot in Queensdale, we managed to transport it quite a bit before the owner noticed and took out the interaction. We managed to get it stuck on a well traveled path though. Thanks for the video, I will be employing these tactics again.

This is so awesome. :D I actually tried using my turtle aswell but they didn't want to hop in back then, will give it another shot! I usually lured the champion sand shark in Kourna to those bots in the north, which was also really fun.
I guess that is the difference between script users and idle farmers as Anet calls them. Script users have the interaction button in their script, while idle farmers don't use scripts and thus can only autocast 1 skill
I must say, this is the best public execution I've seen in the game, and there have been several. Well done, and you may have started a movement! I'm definitely gonna be doing something similar soon.
You just got a brand new 2 seated mount and want to show it off but have no friends? No guildmates? Worry not, with this one easy trick you too can have a buddy for life! Just kidnap a bot! (We at bot buddy do not take any responsibility for any legal issues that may arise nor do we offer refunds for bots that abandon you that are overtaken by real people.)
After watching initially, I started to wonder... You can take Waypoints within the same map with a passenger. So I logged on an alt (Multiboxing is allowed after all lol)... I went somewhere high... put down a personal waypoints, picked up my alt and used the personal waypoint... THIS WORKED! Obviously no execution because my alt aint no bot, but I thought I'd share this trick for others :D
Having skills on autocast and farming mobs while not actively monitoring the game (otherwise known as AFK farming) is not a grey area, it's directly violating the ToS. Read the section about unattended gameplay if you don't believe me. It's only percieved as a grey area because it's hard to see at a glance if someone is really afk or if they are frequently checking up on their toon. Usually it's also only afk farmers themselves that try to defend this ToS breach as a grey area.
pro tips If you want to move these immobilizing people even faster, you can use Jade Waypoints to carry with them by placing waypoints in advance where you want to escort them.
Great video, however it has allowed for Macro users to adapt quite rapidly. The SE Iron Marches Group for example now repeatedly jump on and off the raptor mount, to enact a hard reset to their script preventing them from being dragged on a turtle for more than a half a second. Over the course of about 10 minutes, you are able to drag a single bot off stack. Definitely not as effective as it used to be. Still fun to occasionally get one that hasn't got that scripted in.
I wish there would be relaxed groups to get the mount. We really need an army of those that collects botters and transport them somewhere else as a community event.
now i have a reason to get a siege turtle (btw, i've seen that Farminngg Charr toon, there's 5plus of it when I saw them in Plains of Ashford, the owner just add numbers or 'g' at the end of the name lol)

ive been getting a really annoyed with bots/afk farmers lately as im exploring the maps again and they’re just such a sore to my eye. been wondering if there are any ways to mess with them and this certainly is the most fun one i’ve heard so far! very excited for future videos of this series !
get a squad of 10 or so together and clear out all bot nests, I can see that being a popular lfg activity. Teach enough people about it and you will have a real impact on the situation.
I am one of the people, that people love to hate on, because I like to use my minion necro to farm while I listen to Creepy pasta's, I am 100% ALWAYS at the pc looking at the screen, but people still think it's wrong, I am not breaking any rules, just sitting in one area farming while listening to creepy pastas, People have tried to mess with me, but since I am NEVER afk I don't let them, and they move on. Wish people would quit lumping me in with these afker's and botters! anyway Great video made me laugh.

I'm someone that does the "semi afk" farm with engineer in Istan so I really really appreciate you messing with these actual bots. These people are the ones actively breaking TOS
You should dump them in the ocean and see what underwater skills they are using since its the same ability as the turrets. Also take them to the silverwastes and check if they have unlocked HoT.
this is great, I don't mind people who are actually there farming, but the macro users/bots are just cheating and it's no fair to the others. It's gross that someone can actually buy so many accounts and still end up making some kind of real profit
