Encourages you to collect different vehicles as you go along instead of getting bored with the same one. And the game is pretty lenient with allowing you to experiment, if you don't like a truck you can sell it back for 100% of it's value.

This is so true. I love my Zikz 605R and it is my main workhorse but there are roles which other trucks do better or are just more fun or enjoyable to do things with. If Saber Interactive gave the F750 the option to pull the radar trailer in a future update, I'm pretty sure the F750 would overtake the Loadstar as the most popular & best American scout in Snowrunner.

Tayga 6436 is best overall. I keep trying other trucks but I always come back to the Tayga 6436. It does everything as good or better and you can even use it to scout. Plus the gas mileage is great. I love how clever how they fixed the Azov 73210's bumper problem. Having the bumper have no collision and then everything behind it creates tracks, which gives an illusion that it is ploughing its way through.
For me the TwinSteer is still one of the best vehicles in the game. With awd and the big tires it's nearly unstoppable. Only problem is it has only the big cargo bed and can roll if you are not carefull.
I have rolled with the twin steer so many times that i abandoned it. Also the early to midgame lack of all wheel drive and difflock is a bit of a hassle
I thought the Forester could only carry short logs. Now that I know it can carry medium logs with a log trailer, and is also very stable, I'm going to have to unlock that thing right away. It's going to become my main for all logging operations that aren't long logs.
It can carry medium logs on it's body with a installable medium logs extention as well not just on a trailer. Means it can carry 2x medium logs with trailer and a crane on top...No other vehicle can do it with log crane installed.
@@SD1ONE I managed to get it, but it's kind of funny how. I went over to Maine, which I hadn't played on before, and managed to get past one of the rockslides in the Tatarin and make it to the Forester. I didn't have the repair supplies or fuel to restore the Forester with the Tatarin, so I wanted to get it back closer to the garage for easier access, partially because I didn't have another vehicle that could access it where it was. However, all roads back to the garage were blocked off by rocks, and I knew I couldn't get the Forester past them. There was one road I knew I could access, and it was at the bottom of the cliff next to the road I had towed it onto. I proceeded to throw myself over the cliff with the Forester in tow, and it worked. Thankfully, the Tatarin rolled upright at the bottom, and I was able to tow the Forester closer to the garage. It was probably the most stupid-looking thing I've done in the game so far.
I am up to the Wisconsin map and have yet to run into a mission that used SHORT logs. I see short log trailers and attachments, where does the short logs come into play?
@@JubeProductions I don't think I've noticed the short log trailer before. From a quick Google search, it doesn't sound like a short log trailer exists. The only use I can see for them is maybe using them to craft planks on maps that allow it, as I assume that, though you get less planks per delivery, you can probably transport them faster, due to them being smaller and lighter. From a quick search, it sounds like Amur is the only region with the short logs cargo. By the way, I just found out about a way to carry multiple loads of logs in one trip by using manual loading. Three logs is one unit of cargo. However, if you don't pack the cargo and just drive carefully, you can manually load far more than three logs into a trailer or attachment. Then, when you get there, just use the crane to remove all but three logs from the trailer, pack the cargo, deliver, then load three more logs, and repeat. In addition, the unpacked logs are lighter than packed logs.
@@Ben_Kimber Thanks for that info. I don't remember specifically if there was a short log trailer, but I know there are short log body attachments for some trucks. I have never seen short logs used in any mission, not have I seen short logs as cargo. But I don't do many logs missions. I did use the manual loading trick to carry multiple loads of logs in one trip. I think the first map had a mission called "logs for workers", or something like that. I carried 9 separate logs, then unloaded them at location, then put 3 logs in and packed it for full load. I think it makes it fun, and challenging because when the logs aren't packed during the trip they can fall out.
Happy to see the loadstar get some love, probably the best all around scout aside from the F750. Was kind of surprised not to see the twinsteer, that truck is awesome, especially in the crazy regions like Imandra/Rocketbase.
I tried to use the Twinsteer in Imandra and Lake Kovd, but it flipped a couple times and I gave up. I completed Kola with almost only russian trucks after that, except for the F750, CAT 745C and Paystar with a log crane (times were tough and russian trucks were busy). Also tried the GMC with a maintainance addon, but it was too tippy and it was replaced by the Grad
For me the Jeep Wrangler is one of the best scouts. Its great for exploring maps and towing stucked scouts. With Crawler suspension it has perfect stability (I have never flipped it since its release), i am not even using autonomous winch on it (but the strongest one) cause it doesnt need it.
4:49 let's be real for a sec, the p16 doesn't need AWD, I've had that truck doing a around 2 mile an hour crawl in mud before but it absolutely refuse to give up
I was blown away by the TUZ 16 Actaeon. Lot of power in that little truck. Pulled a 49X with log crane attachment that was laying on its side out of mud and then used it to flip it right side up. Looks like a scout that can pull big trailers. ... J
Great, no BS vid. TY. TLDR in the description would be nice. I have a hard time remembering the names sometimes and having a quick reference helps. But views help you so no judgment.
the royal mb17 is also a very useful truck a lot off add-on options and the fastest truck in the game not for beginners it is very easy to roll with the raised suspension and also lacks mud tires and diff lock but still very capable
I've just started playing and am only rank 5 lol as soon as I get to rank 6 I can get some better off road tires. I'm loving the game so far I like the ANK MK 38.
well it was launched with phase 4 which are most difficult maps in game that can make even OP mods break a sweat... You have to unlock it by completing those maps so that's kinda balance it. I think other heavy trucks should also have such capabilities... they're too weak for their role
The 605 is so hard to get, but once you do it's literally the only truck you'll ever need other than a scout. It honestly almost makes the game boring, as any challenge is lost. I find myself using other trucks simply for the challenge, knowing if they fail I'll just crush the mission with the 605. It's good to know that the king of Spintires and Mudrunners still reigns in Snowrunner.
I Love the Tuz 420. I use it to open every map and hit the map towers. It can't attach trailers, but you can use the winch to pull trailers, or vehicles. I did have a question, what is the reason for an active suspension? Why not just have a raised suspension? Why would you need to lower a raised suspension? I haven't found a situation where having the ability to raise and lower the suspension on the fly is helpful.
@@danc1692 That makes sense, but I wish that option was available on more vehicles with high center of gravity. The Westernstar 6900 twinsteer is almost unusable with the suspension raised. Also, Royal BM17 is a great truck, but terrible when suspension is raised.
Love you videos bro, I'm a truck driver and really enjoy the change of pace eith off road vehicles. Just so you know those"feets" are called landing gear
Thanks for information...It really good to see actual real life truck drivers here, I respect the skills you guys have...handling such big rigs is not an easy task.
Figure I would add my 50 cents here, and say that I absolutealy love the Tatarin but who doasn't, but with some playtime on the F-750 I began to absolutealy love it, I is basically wa roaming garage, and when fully upgraded it will only get stuck if you try really hard, and even when you do, whinches exists for a reason, use it. The tatarin might be the best scout, but the F-750 is the most fun you can have with a scout. It is just so versatile not to mention the special gear box with low and high plus 6 auto gears is fenomenal. It is quick versatile and fun.
I like how he highlights the bumper clipping through the ground like it's a good feature lol yeah maybe it helps but there shouldn't be any clipping at all lol
Like you SD1ONE, I had similar feelings towards the Lo4F, but I changed my feelings once I tested it off road. Alaska was the only place where it was challenged - albeit slightly. I think next to the TUZ 166, the Lo4F would be an ideal companion for any fleet. I just LOVE the Azov 64131!. Ever since I first got one, I fell in love with it - and continue to use it. It's an ideal Crane Truck and can manage recoveries easily. It surprises me how well it is off road - I only wish it had slightly larger tires for the job. Finally, the Loadstar is a wonderful Truck - makes for a great Scout even if it's a bit big for the role - sometimes. I don't get the addition of the compact loader crane though - but clever players can surely find ways to make it work. Keep up the great vids!
have been playing this for the last two months. tatarin for the scout, yar as scout for small roads, tayga 6436 and zikz 605r for the rest. i only got the ziks 605r becuz of your vids and mr. lonewolfs vids to check how it holds up to the big kolob.
3:38 it shouldn’t need a snorkel since it is a boat if you look at how it’s designed you can see how it’s built like a boat and the tires would move it To clarify that’s at the game not at the person that made this video but it’s just a good demonstration right here it is still a very good game the edit was just fixing spelling
I mostly agree with what was written in the video, but I would add a few small things. Armatsu Forester has a weak engine and is therefore quite slow. tuz 420 doesn't have a tow hook, so it can't tow a trailer. zikz is also slow (in good road conditions)
Small tips change suspension and tire for any region ex: use chain tires for snow and heavy truck also make-sure using 4 wheel in the front for any mud and all terrain for highway
“Trailer doesn’t get high centered”, proceeds to show us extreme trailer high centering footage 😂😂 I totally get what you mean but it’s still hilarious to see those trailers in the air like some kind of truck diving board lol
8:41 Just put crane on it and see how it actually dies even for moving itself. F-750 is much slower but it has no issues in hauling thanks to the new engine
I don't know why loastar even has crane option...that crane is too heavy for such a small and light vehicle also the crane placement is far back due to crew cab but It's most powerful scout that support scout trailers while most scout trailers are not that useful but the prototype unit aka radar trailer can come handy in certain situations.
The king of long logs is the internernational highway trac dlc. Burns 30 liters a minute, but will get ya there really really fast. Just no diff lock. But its so fast it doesnt matter
@@SD1ONE I flat out refuse to use the raised suspension and mud tires on it. It doesn't need them anyway. The raised suspension is actually super stiff compared to the stock suspension, and the little bit of extra ground clearance it offers isn't worth it. The mud tires are also a big no on it because they narrow it's track and make it unstable. Not mention if they're used in combination with the raised suspension.
DAN was not mentioned, yet it is fast, has good steering, has a more powerful pull than the azov and consumes very little. Bulky but agile, it travels steadily on all terrains. For me one of the best.
SD1ONE I love your videos! You keep me informed about snowrunner. I just started so your videos are a great help! Learned to short shift from you, that helped so much. Can you do a special videos where you talk about trucks to get in your fleet and trucks to avoid? The top 10s are nice but a lot of trucks you can't afford or get early on.
you mean top trucks for beginners: azov 64131 would be best for beginners... it unlocks early and comes with all bells and whistles when you bought it.. no need to spend on upgrades...if you own DLCs then there're other choices as well like bandit, etc trucks that automatically went to your truck storage
@@SD1ONE yeah I got that azov as soon as I got. But I don't know which trucks to keep or which to sell from the ones I got from the DLC and found on the map. Also what gearbox should I choose?
@@TheBigLanowski I use off road gear box. Sell the small scouts..buy loadstar, tartarin, and the other scout with huge tires Sell the Fleetstar, royal bm17,the First truck you get, the step,. Get all azovs, cat dump truck, the vorons,.
You should check the actual ratings of all the tire options online. The in-game ratings can be misleading as they make think there is no difference between all tires that have an excellent mud rating. When going through the game files players discovered that there is a big difference though. Basically all tires behave differently and mud tires are almost always better in mud than off road tires except some special ones that belong to the P16 and P512.
So for someone who is only level 10 and still exploring much of Blackville and Smithville Dam what would be a great truck to go for? I've primarily been using the International Paystar 5070 and it's been good so far, seemly flips over way too easy any advise?
In my experience, the international fleetstar isn't too unstable without a crane attachment either that or head to Drummond Island and get the free pacific p16 which does have the limitation of only having a low saddle, a high saddle and a log carrier
I can agree based on your previous videos. Haven't yet reached the point where I can afford all these trucks, myself. Focusing on the hidden vehicles throughout the maps first.
just keep selling them and trying new ones .. selling and purchase price are same so you're not losing any money... just remember to sell spare upgrades
@@SD1ONE Yep, that's good advice. I'm trying to see how well I can manage without selling any trucks. But to keep my money as sparing as possible, I sell the upgrades I have, going back to stock whenever I'm not using a truck. It adds a bit of fun and forced variety, making me adapt instead of sticking to one vehicle that I happen to like.

Also tried the GMC with a maintainance addon, but it was too tippy and it was replaced by the Grad
same for me...twinsteer always tend to flip on narrow uneven roads specially on turns...even when you drive it slow
For me the Jeep Wrangler is one of the best scouts. Its great for exploring maps and towing stucked scouts. With Crawler suspension it has perfect stability (I have never flipped it since its release), i am not even using autonomous winch on it (but the strongest one) cause it doesnt need it.
4:49 let's be real for a sec, the p16 doesn't need AWD, I've had that truck doing a around 2 mile an hour crawl in mud before but it absolutely refuse to give up
P16 is perfect the way it is...P16 has more road presence than any other truck in game and that's before blowing it's horn.
@@SD1ONE exactly, it's a beast, bottom line
Finally now you must learn the ways of the dolphin (azof)
I was blown away by the TUZ 16 Actaeon. Lot of power in that little truck. Pulled a 49X with log crane attachment that was laying on its side out of mud and then used it to flip it right side up. Looks like a scout that can pull big trailers. ... J
Disagree with the Khan Loaf but agree with the rest. Thanks for putting this together!
My first best truck, easy to get at start
The ZikZ 605R and the Tayga 6455B are my 2 main go to trucks atm
I've just started playing and am only rank 5 lol as soon as I get to rank 6 I can get some better off road tires. I'm loving the game so far I like the ANK MK 38.
great video great player thanks for publishing i always learn from you for my channel content❤️❤️
605R is op af. It goes through terrain like crazy and to top it off it has 600 repair points. Abolutely ridiculous......
I got 4 of them.
well it was launched with phase 4 which are most difficult maps in game that can make even OP mods break a sweat... You have to unlock it by completing those maps so that's kinda balance it. I think other heavy trucks should also have such capabilities... they're too weak for their role
Love your vids keep em coming 😎🔥💯
5600TS 3-slotbed+crane, best for stacking 9 or more metal beams/pipes/slabs, wish the 73210 can be upgraded to that combo as well
Atleast crane should be installable with 73210 with 3 slot bed as crane helps in carrying more cargo.
@@SD1ONE yeah, it's very strange that it can have 2-slot beds with crane, 2 spare tires and trailers, but 3-slot blocks all of it.
Thank You, Your video is both informative and enteraining.
Good video, I agree with your choises. Still have to find time and start progressing through Maine to unlock and test the forwarder and new Tayga.
Thank you for this detailed video.
The 605 is so hard to get, but once you do it's literally the only truck you'll ever need other than a scout. It honestly almost makes the game boring, as any challenge is lost. I find myself using other trucks simply for the challenge, knowing if they fail I'll just crush the mission with the 605. It's good to know that the king of Spintires and Mudrunners still reigns in Snowrunner.
although it is ruined in Mudrunner, having no medium or long longs platfroms
@@vladvulcan In Mudrunner, this truck has an extended version - d537. this version can do the same but with an extra wheel.
@@Disobeder 535 and 537 are almost the same. Difference in design and horsepower (IRL).
It happens when you strap wheels on a 38.8 L V12 tank engine.
Really enjoyed watching it man, keep it up 💪👏
You are the king 🌷 thank for the awsm vids🌷
Чувак, делай чаще видосы по сноуранеру! Удачи!
Thanks for still making content in 2022 :D
Thanks a lot, buddy👍
Great vid, for me zikz is king I use it for everything except scouting
well can't argue that either one is fine as King 👑
Yeah man imo the loadstar is the most underrated scout in the game! My fave by far awesome to bomb about in it haha
Raised suspension makes it more likely to tip over, so you can choose to only use it when going through water or other tough terrain.
SD1ONE,Pls do a rematch on the Derry Longhorn 3194 vs 4520
fantastic video mate, do u have a more recent 1?
Figure I would add my 50 cents here, and say that I absolutealy love the Tatarin but who doasn't, but with some playtime on the F-750 I began to absolutealy love it, I is basically wa roaming garage, and when fully upgraded it will only get stuck if you try really hard, and even when you do, whinches exists for a reason, use it. The tatarin might be the best scout, but the F-750 is the most fun you can have with a scout. It is just so versatile not to mention the special gear box with low and high plus 6 auto gears is fenomenal. It is quick versatile and fun.
No.8 exactly what I needed for my logging mission! Thank you.
Nailed this list.
Thanks for the review. Very helpful for me.
This list is very good and accurate your videos are great keep it up!
I like how he highlights the bumper clipping through the ground like it's a good feature lol yeah maybe it helps but there shouldn't be any clipping at all lol
WAS DREAMING OF THIS VIDEO
Keep up the good content, I usually don’t subscribe and like on youtube, but I would feel guilty not doing it. Keep it up 👍🏻
Awesome 😎👍
I completely agree with this
Amazing videos as always! Keep up good work and goodluck for channel in 2022 :D
3:38 it shouldn’t need a snorkel since it is a boat if you look at how it’s designed you can see how it’s built like a boat and the tires would move it
To clarify that’s at the game not at the person that made this video but it’s just a good demonstration right here it is still a very good game
the edit was just fixing spelling
0:43 what's that for a Truck with this Crane?
Need a answer pls :)
“Trailer doesn’t get high centered”, proceeds to show us extreme trailer high centering footage 😂😂
I totally get what you mean but it’s still hilarious to see those trailers in the air like some kind of truck diving board lol
8:41
Just put crane on it and see how it actually dies even for moving itself.
Suprised too finally see the Khan on one of these, not very powerful but I guess it can be useful.
The king of long logs is the internernational highway trac dlc. Burns 30 liters a minute, but will get ya there really really fast. Just no diff lock. But its so fast it doesnt matter
And yet, even in end game I still use the 5070 Paystar. Damned thing is unstoppable when set up right.
I like the looks but it's too tippy specially with raised suspension and also it only has 1 engine, Wish it has more powerful engine options
I use the tayga 6455B with lifted suspension and 48 inch tires, it makes it more maneuverable as with the 50 inch tires
DAN was not mentioned, yet it is fast, has good steering, has a more powerful pull than the azov and consumes very little. Bulky but agile, it travels steadily on all terrains. For me one of the best.
As I remember, it's also freely lying on a russian map. Or it is the first available russian heavy truck, don't quite remember
@@osmanpasha_diy it's a mission: fixit and refuel
@@pelybi Yes, thank you!
it struggles on rocks though

Sell the small scouts..buy loadstar, tartarin, and the other scout with huge tires
Sell the Fleetstar, royal bm17,the
First truck you get, the step,.
Get all azovs, cat dump truck, the vorons,.
wow i didnt know khan is that stable and that is so unreal how it can recover massive truck
Now we just need the E-7310 back...
I don't know...E would be too wide for snowrunner roads but I would like to see K-700 in SR, It would be a new type of vehicle in heavy class.
I'm surprised you don't mention crocodile on your videos, it is such a capable little truck.
Don't underestimate the power of Khan...
It was so clear that the zikz 605R is number one. I am just level 10 and already trying to get it
the p12 is slept on
im sad you didnt mention the ANK mk38 civilian
In my opinion it still is incomplete...if it has crane I would've put in the list
i also like the ANK, but it does not have many add-on's
Hey SD1ONE, what map are you using on this one?
The Loadstar's best off tires are rated excellent in mud. At least I still think they are.
And just a week ago or so a player discovered that some tires even have less air in them giving them an advantage in mud.
Nice video SD1
I doo most exploring with the Monster tire UAZ very cappabel in any terrain!
awesome video
Does the spintires mod still work for mudrunner and snowrunner tracked vehicles?
Tayga Tiger SE is the best. Cant beat it.
The azov64131 is honestly one of the better trucks. Reliable goes through anything and only has a slight tipping issue
God damn professional
One time I was in imandra and I set up the entirety of the garage with just a tyaga that you get in taymyr and a tuz420 tartan
Zikz can even pull truks sunken below water, against the frozen edge of a lake and such. Sheer brute force
The ziki at the end reminded me of mudrunner
What???? I don’t know that about the Lo4f. Man gotta try that.
