Shiny Magearna's modern form is just a slightly lighter version of what it already looks like. You can barley tell its shiny. It's Pokeball form is an alternate form, not shiny. And the black Pokeball is the shiny version of its alternate form.

That's a bit of a stretch so maybe it's referring to the term Galaxy. I'm pretty sure that I'm pronouncing it right, anyway.

I really like Solgaleo and Lunala's shiny forms. Solgaleo's shiny seems to be a reference to red giants, stars that are approaching the end of their lifespan, and Lunala's is clearly based off of a lunar eclipse, also known as a blood moon. They're very well thought out.

I saw someone on Twitter call Lunala "BayoBat", as in Bayonetta, and I thought since she's from a group that was associated with the Moon, Lunala's shiny should resemble her friend Jeanne, so white and red. I'm happy with the JeanneBat we did get.
U have one error the black Magearna isn't its regular shiny that is the shiny for its poke ball form. Its regular form shiny almost exactly the same as regular Magearna.

Solgaleo looks like a Liger Zoid. I think that is what they are also going for with shiny Solgaleo. A white liger turning into a red one.
