I am from india and one fine day i found carnivore videos and started immediately ..... The. My life changed i lost my skin allergies lost 5kgs in just 20 days ..... Love to be in this community !!!
That's fantastic! I'm so happy to hear that!
I’m carnivore and have started bodybuilding and in 2 months have made incredible progress and I am 58 YO! My trainer is carnivore also and he looks fantastic and judges have told him he is the most conditioned on stage. Meat really is the way to optimal health, wellness, strength and body composition. Thank you for all you do Dr Chaffe-love all your content😊
That's fantastic, well done! And thank you very much, I'm glad that you've found me work helpful

I appreciate you and refer you to all who will listen and want to improve health. Many blessings
You’ll hit a wall soon enough. It’s not sustainable. You’ll be suffering with gout among other ailments. I know from experience.
You should be dubious of any diet that claims to be the panacea
@@saszablaze1 wow dude....
@@saszablaze1 , are you vegan?
Hey Anthony I just wanted to thank you for saving my life, I’m 20 years old and have already had 5 years of drug addiction, ADHD, BPD, Type 1 Bi-polar experiences and whole cornucopia of mental issues for a long time. Severe anxiety to which I’d talk to myself all day long thinking when the next “bomb” would drop on me…
I was dying a very painful and slow death, the drinking and medications were slowly evaporating my life into nothing then I found this channel along with some others and started this diet and man, it feels like I’ve got the life I felt like I was never going to get… always felt different than everyone else and couldn’t understand why and holy Jesus it’s like my brains actually working again. My addictions and constant searching for my next fix faded out and I feel completely normal even after a month of this diet! To me seeing the results it isn’t even a chore to keep up with the diet because I feel so damn good! Thank you Doc, you healed me❤️
This is great to see. Diet is a big part. But imagination aka the mind is the most
And its hard to use that super power when your are not properly fed
Iv seen many in your situation
And Some thrive after.
Its amazing what the human body is capable of surviving
1 love 1 God
From one addict to another. Stay strong brother. I'm 9 months clean from 20 years of drug addiction and the last 3 months which I have been carnivore has definitely helped me as well
Wow man, happy for you! This is gold. You hit the lottery - well done!
Amen❤
Lmao. "I promise it's not a cult! It just solved every single issue in my life."
I have been bodybuilding for years. Always followed the "bro" diet and stayed propped up on caffine and supplements. When i was younger it didnt bother me but i absolutely crashed in my late 30's and nothing helped. Started carnivore as a last resort and now i can workout like i did in my late 20's but i dont need the pre-workout and steady stream of caffeine like before. Its great
Brother I think I relate. Did you start randomly bloating and experiencing constant heaviness in your stomach? I think the carbs and 6-7 meals caught up to me at 35. I’ve dabbled with carnivore but I’m about to fully commit. I’m tired of this.
I just starting body building on Carnivore, but I have been carnivore-keto for several years now. My 1st observation is how quickly I recover & have almost ZERO soreness/stiffness after my workouts. I am on carnivore to control my chronic inflammation and it's amazing for that.
You both are inspirational. Good souls. Carnivore diet is the best way to get the most from your health span. Mental issues stabilised..
Hi everyone!! Hi doc Chaffee!! I started my carnivore journey because of my dad cancer .so in my desperation I was searching for a solution and I find you people talk about carnivore diet. I have training as a bodybuilder for 25 years and I always used carbs for fuel a lot of protein and low fat . 5 years ago I learn how fasting it’s good for general health so I started practicing and I lost 20 pounds I was in a very good shape, but carbs was my fuel at same point I tried keto but never worked for me . Back to my dad , when I discovered the carnivore diet I told my dad that was a way to fighting cancer but he never started so I started to prove him that it’s possible !!!with time I start to see the positive feedback from my body , I start to change things round and play with calorie and fat intake in the beginning was Ard but now I know the right ratio and calories for me . I training hit and it is very demanding for the body plus I have a very busy life two jobs and family two girls before the carnivore I was very exhausted I never given up because it’s my life but is as very tired. Back to carnivore : with this diet in few months I find that my energy are truly amazing and my performance it’s very good no inflammation no need to much sleep very strong unbelievable recovery capacity basically I’m fell and look better then ever . So I guess go carnivore people 🥩🥩🥩
Hi i started carnivore 4 days ago and in the gym my energy is low and i feel flat is this normal at the start?
@@garychristopher5480 yes off course!!! You will get use to and then you will find the benefits!!! You have to find your calories intake!!! The right ratio protein and fat . After the flat feeling and the flat look your body will start to build muscle and look again good but with less volume!!! The moist important thing is listen to your body wait for the transition and you will look 10 time better . No puffy look a real muscle look .
Great interview. More interviews on carnivore bodybuilding/aesthetics please!
A lot of people here saying their DOMS is a lot less on Carnivore. That’s a really good point and I hadn’t actually noticed until I read these comments. I am not sore for more than 2 days. I am 44, starting training at 16, and I remember being sore for 4-5 days in my early twenties. Now.. i am literally doing 16-20 sets per muscle group, vs 8-12 sets 20 years ago. Carnivore has completely changed how I think about health, fat loss, and recovery
I’m 44 as well, and started training at 16. I started carnivore 4 weeks ago and was wondering do you eat more protein on training days than the days you don’t train or do keep it the same. I’m struggling with feeling the blood in my muscles I train compared to when I trained before carnivore. 👍🇬🇧
@@johnphazey3051they reckon have protein within half hr after the workout , thats when you get the best synthesis of the muscle.
Thank you Anthony for these videos and knowledge . I just started carnivore a few weeks ago . Love strength training and body composition, I do feel stronger and less soreness from my workouts . Hopefully I can just keeps getting better ! I was eating somewhat high carb from fruit ,honey , and potatoes . I feel so much better after cutting carbs out . When you said plants are trying to kill you that convinced me to quit them all . I just want to be the best I can be . Thanks you guys !
That's awesome Michael, I'm really glad that you tried it and found out how great it is!
The most noticeable thing I've noticed since eating a carnivore diet is that my recovery time is cut in half. It's nice being able to workout hard and not get too sore
Yeah absolutely, that's huge
Same for me
Honestly I'm struggling. I tried it for 10 days and felt my workouts messed me up. Am I just not fat adapted??
@@hundy6521 u need to give it longer than 10 days if prev on SAD....unrealistic to think 10 dsys is sufficient for body to adapt
@@stevenbutcher519 I wasnt on sad, abt a year ago I did keto for 4 months and lost a bunch of weight, and then introduced carbs agn and got really lean. But now that I've been bulking, I want to start carnivore, it seems super logical, as i wont be hungry all the time
Im currently 40yo. Ive been on and off with weight lifting. This last time I wanted to transition back to carnivore whle lifting but had a light injury at work, which has kept me from lifting. I plan on moving forward with the diet, and picking the weights back up when I have a full recovery.
Nice to see Anthony interview my favorite carnivore bodybuilder! My favorite carnivore doctor finds the best people to converse with! Personally I will never understand the whole binging on carbs. I have to force myself to eat fruit, and absolutely hate breads, pastas and candy bars. Gummy bears are as appealing to me as eating rotten duck eggs.
Thanks man, I'm glad you liked it!
Aww cheers Rick 🥰🙏
Ever tried white rice? :)
@@DoronZehavi0 Ducks love it!
I'm carb free! And putting on good muscle without carbs! No bloated water retention! Nice dry and hardness without the carbs.
Hell yes man!!!
I did carnivore for a bit over a month but decided to go back on carbs cuz I didn’t go into it to lose too much weight. I’ve always been in shape. My brain fog returned, tendonitis in the elbow returned. It flared up my ganglion cyst as well. I started napping again felt tired all the time so I am going back to carnivore just making sure I’m eating enough. I’d love to be able to put on some muscle cuz I can’t live eating carbs anymore. I’m so much healthier in body and mind on carnivore
Amazing interview! Love this content shared. I'm a carnivor bodybuilder and i appreciate the support.
I'm the same with gummy bears. I would buy the "family pack" and would try to eat just a handful. Then it was "eh, just one more handful". Then the bag was gone, lol.
I just don't buy sweets of any kind any longer.
Good method, does the trick for me too 😜
Me too. Hubby can eat moderate carbs and maintain a perfect weight. I’m better off abstaining.
Me too. If I get processed junk food, I don't stop until it's all gone. So I don't get it any more, and get rid of it if it ends up in my house.
I have this problem with milk chocolate. Once I start eating it I can’t stop.
I don't train yet, but I'm reasonably active, my inlaws have a farm too.
Carnivore for 9 months now, and everything has improved, only started it to see if it would help my diverticulitis, as last resort before an operation. Guess what, it did, and no longer get constant pain, my joint inflammation has gone, eczema and psoriasis has practically gone, no need for any of my medicated shampoo or creams. Also I no longer take hay-fever medication.
Added bonus I've lost 30kg in weight 😁 BP nad HR Have Come down to normal levels, was 80bpm resting, now 50 to 60bpm.
I'm not giving up this diet ever!
Hi Dr. Chaffee. I switched from keto to carnivore recently and wow it made a huge inpa t in my workouts and my moods, energy levels and also body composition. I'm 57 competed in powerlifting when i was in my 30's. I have to say i look better now then i ever look. I look more vascular then ever and my arobic condition is awesme. My only concern is blood pressure which has creeped up a bit. Do you have any recommendations. Thsnks for your channel and all your information, your awesome!
I’m 63, and an old school natural bodybuilder from the late 1970s early 1980s, and I’ve been consistently weight training since (not pink dainty weights) even through pregnancy and postpartum, etc. My girls are in their late 30s. I’ve been clean keto followed by carnivore for 14+ years. I’m at a good weight for me; I’m naturally curvy. I’ve had so many autoimmune challenges since I was a little girl. I’ve always had muscles, but my skin and tone have been horrible from autoimmune and the horrible bodybuilding/low calorie/low fat diet I followed for years. It’s so discouraging. I look great in clothes! 😂 I just got really serious about lifting heavy again like the old days. I am super committed and determined to bring out the muscle development naturally and see if heavy lifts can do something about my skin. I’m only a few days in. I’m following a female bodybuilder’s training plans (but ignoring her nutrition) and my 1980s Rachel McLish book and workout (also ignoring nutrition advice). I’d love to see more examples of post-menopausal 60+ women on a carnivore plan who are making changes with heavy lifting. Are you out there?
Gwen..... 59 year old female here. 2 years post menopausal. Been weightlifting since I was 16 with a few years off here and there. Currently lifting as heavy as I can 5 days a week. Started carnivore 7 days ago or so. Was previously heavy on veg, with light protein lower fat. Pain in my joints was ridiculous. To say I had to push myself to the gym everyday is an understatement. 5 days in and pain is gone. I feel amazing. I gorge on steak butter eggs and my stomach is always flat as a board after eating. I am the oldest one normally in my gym. The rest of the patrons are 20 and under. Why can't older women come to the realization that resistance training is the best thing they can do for themselves besides carnivore eating??
@@lq4657 well done and great that you’re doing this for yourself. So many women fear getting bulky and add to that all the stupid programming with which we’ve been inundated when it comes to nutrition, and those are just a few of the reasons. Honestly, even if I don’t see much change is my skin, I’ll continue heavy lifting indefinitely. I ride a motorcycle and I love it so much. I must be strong to do this. Thank you for sharing your story. I hope we can stay connected. I’d love to know how things are going with you.
Thank you for your inspirational comment! I'm not doing any heavy lifting I am 63 and eating close to clean carnivore with only a little lemon juice. I have autoimmune issues to but can't seem to give up and right now I'm using sour cream. Maybe when I don't work so much I can do some heavy lifting. 😊💖
@@duketta thank you for your kind words, same age friend! ❤️ I gave up dairy for a long time and noticed no change. So, I still eat occasional sour cream and heavy cream and hard cheeses. I hope your autoimmune issues resolve. I feel incredibly well and good! But I still take a compounded porcine thyroid med for Hashimoto’s and low dose naltrexone for autoimmune in general along with some hormones. I’m not ready to give up the hormones and may never be, but I’ve learned to ignore the negative chatter about them because I do well on them. I was so sick when I started them and what a huge difference they made. Keep us posted here. I’m retiring in a few months. I’m ready! Work stress is real.
I'm 46 female, been lifting since I was 15. 1st week carnivore. I'm actually kinda underweight atm due to autoimmune stuff. Hoping to heal and gain back some lost muscle. Been pending protein and fat.
52 days on the carnivore diet just started going back to the Gym yesterday i feel amazing after working out and swimming for just over an hour.
Im 10 days into carnivore and the weight is melting away. Im down 9lbs and my strength in the gym has been unaffected so far.
That's great! That's what I experienced also. Some people take a bit of a dip in strength at first, but like me, a lot of people get better straight away.
How are you getting on now?I'm one week in and feel good but not sure I'm eating too much or not enough. Did you eat big when trying to build muscle?
@@wolflarsen3447 Im still going strong. I have lost 40lbs so far and my strength has gone up. I eat a lot of dairy from my farm so my weight loss may be a bit slower than it could be. But i feel amazing.
@@dustinhamilton that's great to hear man, good job. I think everyone just loses it in there own time. I think also if you're refeeding to build muscle you will be eating more calories than someone who isn't, so it may be slightly slower.
Man I‘m happy for you. My strenght went down 15% avg. on all lifts and I can‘t beat my times or reps in workouts. During everyday life I feel better though. Constant energy but not like energy bursting
For the last few months I've just been doing half-@assed carnivore (mostly meat but 100 carbs per day) and basic 20 min. workouts. My gut is completely gone and I now have a six-pack. I'd recommend anyone new to this to just try eating more meat and keeping carbs at 100 and see the results. It does not take willpower. You may find as I did that your appetite for carbs will naturally decease with the more meat you consume and that you will feel better all around.
The more meat AND FAT you consume, the more your desire for carbs will go down👊🏼🚀👍🏼🥩🧈🥓🥚

Great interview! Reminded me why I retired from fitness competitions which I did for 13 years with gross carbs. Lol
Thank you , gentlemen! I'll follow both of you from here on out. Carnivore life !
Thank you for touching on the bodybuilder deaths. It's absolutely tragic. I feel like the fact that the people who should represent peak fitness and health are actually dying faster is making a lot of lay people avoid the gym and weight lifting - people in my family told me that working out will give me a heart attack, and I'm far from a bodybuilder, more of a casual gym rat.
The reason bodybulders die is not because of steroids, or because they lift weights and put too much strain on their hearts.
When they prep for a competition, they mess around with their potasium/sodium ratios, so all the water is inside the muscle and not under their skin. That puts a strain on the heart, not so bad if you do that once a year, but some people enter multiple competitions each year.
@@Paul-Weston you are correct! The bodyweight shifts cause the sodium potassium pump to go out of whack
@@Paul-Weston absolutely!! Ya know what is ironic? All the malnourished atrophied raw vegans that do multiple day dry fasts encounter the same issues and DEATH all stemming from similar issues: electrolyte imbalances. The body is a giant chemistry set. When one alters the chemistry, things go wrong, meaning cardiac muscle specifically which is highly sensitive to electrolytes and any imbalances.
Massive steroid abuse with anti estrogen compounds also . We literally need estrogen for health and they obliterate theirs to it dosnt exist
Just remember, it is what you learn AFTER you know it all that really counts!
This is perfect 👍

In Japan we got lots of fatty beef called Wagyu, but it's way too expensive for everyday eating. And other beef are usually very lean cuts. Are you still on it?
@@bro_2_2 yes
Where did they go so fast?
Yeah there’s a reason Classic Physique is more popular than the open class. Greek god is the look over gargantuas chunks of muscle on a body that can barely move
I have been on keto for 18 years now and started carnivore 3 weeks ago, I have trained in the gym on and off during that time while on keto and I cycled carbs during the weekends but I still feel like I can lift less when not cycling carbs, I would think the water the goes inside the muscle cells enlarges it and that makes them bigger helping in lifting more? Your insight is appreciated
I just finished butchering a 15 lbs chunk of Sirloin and cut it into portions. I ended up getting about 13 portions. My meals now with some butter and eggs don’t exceed $5! Talk about Carnivore being expensive.
It is expensive (I live in Socal). With a normal diet I can eat 4k calories with 265g of protein per day for $250 a month. Don't think that budget is possible with carnivore with those macros.
@@cooperpayne its actually a parent problem since they had me here.
Amazing content! Been watching every single one of your videos. Absolutely incredible information
Today I ate 2 lbs ribeye, about 3/4 lb ground beef and at least 5 tbsp butter. Hopefully it goes to some muscle mass to my thin body. :*)
It will if you combine it with sufficient hypertrophy training!
I struggle to eat more than two pounds of ground beef daily, but if money was no object I’d probably eat close to 4 pounds daily of steak.

@Nathan Bean you can still get some gains. Even if you just stay lean.
Where’s timecodes?
Great interview as always. Did I miss the details on the post-workout carbs? Are you saying that all you need is a leucine spike, given that is insulinogenic?
Hey, no carbs needed. Leucine in a sufficient amount fulfils the requirements that carbohydrates are conventionally believed to only fulfil 💪
I’ll never understand why we put doctors through this hell to become a doctor. Years ago, I watched a PBS documentary about the rigorous residency at a major hospital, and a female resident walked out in complete exhaustion after all those years of education and work. In 2013 I played at the Canada Summer Games for Team Saskatchewan Men's Volleyball. I worked construction/roofing 40 hours a week and trained for 2 hours in the evening 5 days a week and weight trained a few days a week. My diet consisted of high fatty meat with the occasional cheat meal on weekends. I was in the best shape of my life that summer. I was noticeably more muscular and leaner.

And for your lecture about the plants that try to kill us xD
Even after 2 weeks i feel a difference in my depression/autism/adhd/anxiety which i had for 10+years now.
I have so much energy that i have to workout now and im losing weight like crazy.
You really made a big difference with that for me. I dont know when was the last time i was felling that good.
Also i have a question about salt (sodium, potassium etc.)
Im on keto for 2 months and now im the 2nd weeks into carnivore.
I ordered fasting salts to get more raise my salt intake. I drink less than before yet i still get headaches/cramps(1-2 times) that go away with more salt. Using salt to taste is not enough for my body.
Do you have some solution for that ? Maybe more fish or so.
Im wondering how they resolved that issue thousands of years ago. Maybe the mega fauna was saltier o,0
Buy Redmonds Real Salt it's the best and doesn't have anything added. From an ancient sea bed protected from the elements underground.
Rainwater, river water, lake water etc. all full of electrolytes. That’s what we used to drink
How much meat should I consume in a day? I feel I lost too much weight/ muscle by following carnivore diet because of under eating. I need to gain some muscles… Im 35 yo
Maybe this will replace “shredding” for competition. Shredding is unhealthy.

Honestly: Is it possible to build a significant amount of muscle doing OMAD carnivore?
Yes, it's just really difficult if you want to eat 200g+ of protein a day routinely. Many CAN do it though 💪
Yes, but you gotta keep your fat and protein intake high, especially fat.
Dude love your content new to carnivore been watching all your videos and definitely subscribed
I'm 32 M, I've been carnivore for about 2 months. People keep saying I look great, saying I look jacked, asking what my secret is, asking me if I'm on steroids because I've bulked up so much so quick (no way I'd ever take steroids). I've been working out almost every day for only 2 months and I've gained 17kgs of lean muscle so far. My goal was 20kgs over a year and I've almost reached it in 2 months, it's absolutely crazy how good this diet is for body building, rock climbing, strength training. Almost no fatigue for hours, recovery is overnight, if there is any soreness it's gone early within the next day.
Sorry but you cant gain that much muscle in 2 months even on steroids. Glad you are having success though
The scale doesn't lie my friend. I'm still lean as and I've gone from 60kgs to 77kgs in 8 weeks. Maybe you can't, but I definitely did. That's using both the scale at home and the gym to cross reference. I've also got the photos to prove it, I've been keeping a journal. maybe some of it is increased bone density, water weight etc, but looks like a lot of it is lean muscle. I've also gone from lifting about 10-15 kgs on each arm on free weight and machine exercises to 25-35kgs on each arm, is that also impossible? It seems ridiculous to me, but I'm enjoying the gains very much :) @@KonnaIRL
@@claynivore You have no idea what you are talking about. No one gains 17kg lean muscle in 2 months especially naturally. See you in winning mr olympia next year :D
Question: When trying to build muscle on carnivore do you still need to eat excess “ calories” and very 3/4 hours within 24 hrs after workout ? Or can we just do 2 meals to satiety ( obviously still hitting protein goals ) ?
I recommend multiple meals and the calories thing is overstated. Eat enough protein to support new muscle tissue, and couple that with enough fat to support energy through your workouts
Yep just eat enough protein to build muscle and enough fat to fuel your workouts. I typically eat two big meals and i haven't had any issues building muscle.
2-3 meals come into play when sub 10% bf
Love this guy Jonathan such a amazing guy .
Thank you Dr. Chaffee for inviting Jonathan Griffiths on your show. More than just being an example of the impressive physique you can build on carnivore, Jonathan also offers credible cautionary testimony about the perils of professional bodybuilding. Often, in magazines and in social media, bodybuilding is glamorized and the participants are falsely portrayed as healthy, when they are anything but healthy. This distortion of reality can be harmful to a lot of impressionable youth who idolize bodybuilders. I appreciate Jonathan's transparency, and his characterization of professional bodybuilding as an exercise in masochism - an exercise that frequently flirts with death and has caused many of its competitors too die well before their time.
I'm sure Dr Chaffee will appreciate your comment! I'm glad I am seen as honest and sincere, many in the fitness industry aren't. I want to paint a true picture as to what is obtainable on a carnivore diet on a competitive bodybuilding stage 🙏💪
I’m excited for this one!
I hope you liked it!
Hello. I have a question. I am pretty lean and muscular. Now I want to grow, thicken my muscles. Is it possible to eat what I eat and yet grow my muscles by weighted training? Or do I have to eat more to gain muscle weight? And have to keep eat more to keep the muscle mass?
Eat to the amount your appetite asks
Great video. Thanks for sharing
Started Keto in 9/'21 and lost 50 lbs in three months. Transitioned to Dr. Berry's BBB&E plan in Aug./'22 and dropped another 10 in the first three days. Under your direction, I've cut out even tea and coffee. Dont know what I'm doing wrong, but it seems like the fat layer around my waist is growing and joint pain, neck and back, is ever constant. Will never go back to sugar and carbs, but just wondering when the weight loss will start again and why wont the inflammation subside? I'm 60, 6'1", and 215...trying to get sub-200.
Others like Nutrition with Judy will say that if you arent getting totally better with carnivore you need to look at toxin issues, mould issues, oxalate issues in particular would cause all kinds of trouble…try having some tea/ olives/ dark choc to slow down oxalate dumping.

@@jksinorbit Thanks! Yeah, about a month ago, because of these lingering symptoms, I removed the olives, pistachios, tea/coffee, and cassava flour from my diet for their oxalate content. So now, it's meat, water, and extra strength Tylenol. It's probably my off-the-chart stress level, so my body is unwilling to lose the 28% BMI...idk.
Try some raw dairy or kefir for a while, to see if that helps correct any gut bacteria issues.
@@cynicist8114 Thanks! I tried Kefir for several months. Didn't notice any difference one way or the other. I've gained back 10 lbs since this post...hopefully it's muscle as I've increased my walking significantly. Just don't understand why the fat won't go.
dr. Chaffe. do you eat wild salmon as part of your diet? also in the past I have experienced an inflammatory response from eating red meat on a daily basis, is this something that would potentially go away if I were to eat strictly meat? any info will be greatly appreciated, thx for your time!
It's not the red meat it's all the carbs and sugar and fried processed foods still in your diet
@@jamessturgeon2727 It's ridicules that you just assume I eat an unhealthy diet and know absolutely nothing about me. SMH
There's nothing wrong with including seafood in your diet. Our ancestors typically lived by the sea or along waterways so its a very natural part of our diet. Different meats have varying levels of the same nutrients so i think its a good idea to eat a variety of different animals.

one thing i havent heard is, when body building or heavier weight training, training for sports etc.. When do you eat?? before? if so, how long before? After? again how long after? thank you
Dr. Chaffee says play hungry. Don't eat for at least 5 hours before training or competition, after adaptation.
My husband and his son are both too lean. 188cm & 65kgs, 195 & 74kgs.
They need to put *on* weight! How?
Husband is doing carnivore, but finds it hard to eat a lot of meat, and fat (unless it's crispy)
What if you’re already lean & don’t want to lose weight? I eat carbs & still have a six pack. Everyone is praising losing weight.
How is your blood work? Are you metabolically healthy?
Uh yes. Typical competitors, male and female, they will get lean but all during show prep they complain about energy. And I’ve been in that camp for sure. Now being carnivore, I’m getting leaner but muscle staying and building! But I feel skin getting tighter everywhere, face leaning out. Energy staying elevated, sleep is incredible. Not the typical symptoms of fat loss! Also I’ve lost 6lbs in less than two weeks, 5’8 female, 31 years old, 158lbs to 152lbs yesterday. 😯🔥🥩🧈🥓🥚🚀
Also, I fart maybe once a day😂and I’m not wanting to binge out Every other day on carbs/sweets. And my stomach is literally flat and Abs tight 24/7. I am truly satiated but body fat % going down 😮
Interesting insight into bodybuilding.
Doesn’t seem like they ship those bars to Canada
Anthony, thanks for the podcasts, I can thank you for starting carnivore, but I need neuro help. I’ve been on the diet for 8 months. It has helped me loose a lot of weight and feel better in general. I’ve recently started having body-wide muscle twitches. These are mostly in my legs but my entire body including lips are now in a constant state of twitching every day. My larger muscles are also cramping and aching. This has been going on for a month now. I do go to the gym regularly and have pushed these muscles to a degree (but not lips!)
It scared me to the point of stopping carnivore and pumping down carbs and electrolytes. So far it has not helped. I seem to have normal muscle strength everywhere but google will tell you these symptoms can mean fatal diseases. I’ve also been google-educating myself on things like BFS and even parasites from meat?? I don’t know how to proceed. I need to find some answers, and I wish I knew how common this is when doing keto or carnivore and how to sort it out. I want to keep doing carnivore but this stuff is scaring me sick! Thanks.
I would suggest supplementing taurine, its a master regulator for all your electrolytes and can help with twitching and cramping.
Try drinking Mountain Valley Spring Water. I was having calf cramps in the middle of the night that would wake me up. Haven't had cramps in a long while. Also, making sure you have a shower filter, especially if your city adds certain chemicals, can be very beneficial to your overall health. And my last piece of advice... stop using Google. 😁
Im no expert, but perhaps try magnesium supplement
Isn't a carnivore bar basically beefy jerkey?

Yeah please I can’t have a few bites of French fried 🍟 😅
I'm lossing wight. Looking very skinny. What to do? I had gut issues and they gone. The problem is that I can not build muscle
You need to eat some carbs.
Same boat, prioritize higher fat. I assume you’re exercising, and you’re certainly getting enough protein if you’re eating carnivore, but you may not be getting enough fat. I put on about 8 pounds of lean mass last month doing that. Butter is an easy way to increase fat, I basically live on ground beef alone now but I just put a slice of butter on top. Tastes fantastic, makes the ground beef go down easier for someone who can’t afford glorious steak, and it’s also just easy, energy dense food.
Exactly that. Started eating 150 gr butter and I started gain weight.
I’m skinny, working out and have gained strength. Size isn’t everything

I did Adkins in 2003 and lost 25 pounds in 2 1/2 months. Now it takes me six months. But I remember him saying because he was still alive when I started and he died that year but I remember him saying if you can have a bite of chocolate or a piece of chocolate and put it down and not keep eating it then eat it but if you can’t stop, then don’t start. I am the, I can have a bite and walk away from that person know when it comes to potato chips? Not so much if I start a potato chip I want to keep eating them. So needless to say, I don’t eat potato chips, but I will have a bite of dark chocolate now and then.
Yeah I'm the same way with milk
@@anthonychaffeemd my son is a huge milk drinker and he has such bad issues with his gut and G.I. system. I’ve tried to get him on carnivore he is so messed up and he’s only 36. The problem I have is feeling depleted during running. I used to run a 10k, no problem. I had to walk this time around. Any suggestions?
How long have you been on carnivore?

Up the saturated fats, it's what you'll burn for energy now...
@@erickeytie173 Yeah went up to around 2000 +- calories and I get at least 140 g to 200 g of fat and at least that for protein. I don’t like to dip below either. I weigh 130. I range around 80/20 70/30. Thanks for the response.

Eat carnivore. 60 or at any age IMO. I'm 74 & eat Carnivore & still weight train.
I have to have very fatty meat. Publix will slice a big rack of ribs for me and leave on the fat if I ask. We need to give the grocery stores the feedback that more and more people want their meat I trimmed. Start sending them the message.
