  • This is the revealing and first pitch of my new tent. The Trekker 1 man hiking pole
    Tent by River Country.
This is a cracking little tent. Weights in at 1.3kg with bags, and pegs. Packs down really small, plenty of room in the sleeping area, and a big vestibule for storage and cooking. Reasonably priced as well, retails around the £65-67 mark.

There is a few mods that could be done with the tent. Like the pegs didn't come with any cord on, so makes it difficult to grip when pulling them out the ground. And perhaps a guy line on the top of the tent so you can open both the doors.
    Other than that great kit.

I’m at home right now, waiting for this to be delivered. Looks great, but I have been advised to seam seal and waterproof it.
    All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧

Yes I heard there was a batch that was a bit dodgy. I pitched this just before a mad down poor and didn’t get any leaks anywhere. Thanks for watching 😊

      @@MSIOutdoors Hi.
Used mine in a storm last night on The Mendip Hills,in the UK. Preformed brilliantly.
Only water ingress was through the top rear vent,as the wind was coming in that way,but once closed down,it was perfect.Great bit of kit!

      @@MSIOutdoorsOk.
A while has passed, but I have been using it in some real adverse conditions.
Still holding up really well, and will be using it again up in the Mendip Hills in Somerset England. I did a mod on the side guy ropes by putting a sick vertically each side halfway along. This opens the inside up a little more and keeps the fly off of the inner better. Also, the same on the back guy opens the vent better.
      All the best😉👍🏾🇬🇧

Trekking pole is upside down in the tent. It's supposed to be handle up, and that protects your tent from punctures and tears. Check your instructions. Love you all

Thanks for watching, I am aware of which way it goes. However my poles kept slipping with the handles up, therefore I used them upside down with the rubber end on! Hope this helps.

I actually sold it to make room for a more lightweight 3 season one. But it was ok, I was defo glad I waterproofed it. My cousin didn’t do his and woke up in lots of water 🙈😂

Just out of curiosity, why don’t you speak in your videos?

I don’t like the sound of my voice. So why inflict it on others 😂.
