Thank you for all of your informative videos! I made a few today after finding some cute fabric at my local fabric store. I picked cotton jersey as a topper since it felt so lovely and soft and it was also organic cotton. I lucked out it’s very absorbent! As soft as minky, I am worried it’ll be too warm for me. I couldn’t find velour fabric 😟
I am new to this and trying to understand about mateeials. I would like to give this a try and use this pads and see how thay work for me instead of buying pads fr stores iam a heavy flow wat material is best for heavy flows and for a newbie who wants to try this out any info is very appreciated...TIA
Love all your videos! Any suggestions on where to get some custom prints of fabrics? I seen a cloth pad topper with a design I loved but can't find the fabric anywhere.
Alot of the custom prints are from fabric groups on facebook that you join and then they are up front payment and a group order. If you search on facebook you will find quite a few :-)
I've only ever had a pastel blue one stain the odd time and I just use a little ecover stain remover straight from the wash and pop it back in the next load :-)
RockynCurls Yeah I always experience staining on cotton velour especially a baby blue or sky blue colour topper I mean the stains do come out but I find they are just a little more stubborn xx

I loooove the cat pad? Did you make it? Where did you get it?
It's one of my favourites too, soooooo cute! It's actually by Kitty Kat Cloth :-) If you check out my channel I have a review of Monica's kitty pads and details of where/how to buy.
Bamboo is a natural fiber, however,it's chemically treated. So it's not correct to say that it's natural. It's natural in nature,in its natural state. Inform please, before.

Crystal Suttles the cat pad is not my own and is made by Kitty Kat Cloth. you can see a review of her pads on my other videos.
Has anyone used linen as a topper or higher core fabric? How about cotton bed sheets as toppers?
I have the same question! Haha
This is so helpful

What are some of your favorite US stores? I am having a hard time finding shops with heavy flow pads. :(
Old video but an FYI - bamboo velour is a synthetic fabric. Bamboo fabric is rayon based.
Does the Cotten velour stain easily?
