Often wondered what corfu was like and your video probably gave an accurate tourist view without being too elaborate or too condemming, suppose its like a lot of European and far distant shores ...sun sea and good food and good looking ladies. Good video.

Glad you made it to Corfu Kevin. I stayed in Ipsos many years ago 😅 when I was young. Corfu town is lovely and there is a cricket pitch 🏏. Brilliant stuff, keep up the good work 👍

Loved this. It’s been so long since we holidayed in Sidari that we barely recognised anywhere! We stayed at the Canal d’amour area on the 2 occasions that we were there. We also stayed in Roda twice. It was nice but the beach was all shingles. A tad sore on the feet. We enjoyed our visits to Corfu town and Paleocastritsa….probably spelled that wrong😂. We visited the monastery at Paleo…. and it was fascinating. Also visited a palace high up somewhere but can’t remember where as it was in 1992. Love your vlogs. Keep up the great work. I’ve never been to corfu I will make my mind up if I think I would like visiting there after a few more vlogs as this vlog isn’t selling it to me yet Kevin ! Although I enjoyed watching something different ! I’ve been to Crete and Kos and loved both of them places in Greece 👌🏻🥰
Exactly I am debating about visiting Corfu...but stay close to Corfu Town...and Visit other towns on the Bus

Looking forward to this series of videos Kevin as my memories of the island are only of the inside of Corfu town hospital. ( young son was taken ill on first night) . It’ll be great to actually see the island itself 😁

Heyas wee Kev.I.N, been there 2 times, a few years ago though. Stayed in the Canal D'Amour part, great times too. Used to go to a Brit owned bar with a monkey in its name** found an old picture and it was called the Sea Monkeys***, bar terrace onto grass and into sea in 20 paces, on Google maps it's Argilos Beach bar(?) The 3Little pigs restaurant was good value There used to be a fabulous family taverna restaurant not too further past the 3pigs that had the biggest portions, real belly busters, it was small place so you needed to be early as it wasn't open till late afternoons. Of course there is the noisier part of the strip but lots of sensible non madhouse places too. I hope the Corfu wild fires haven't caused too much hassles. Cheers DougT*** also there was Jeni's tea/coffee and bar not far from the 3pigs, she was a collection point for all stray puppies/dogs handed in 😊, as I said a great time in Sidari.
Loved the 3little pig’s restaurant with the Greek dancing etc, also, just over the bridge on the left towards the canal d’amour was a lovely family run bistro. I wonder if it’s still there?
Lovely vlog Kevin,try and go to kassiopi.Costas bar for Greek dancing about 10 pm.there are some lovely bays around the headland.
Try the local Corfu beer made in Arillas

I first went Sidari in 1986 and there was absolutely nothing around. 2 bars and 2 restaurants. lol

Been to Sidari, was quite nice, but went on a bus trip to a place called Paklokatrista (probably not how you spell it) but it’s absolutely gorgeous.
I want to to visit there... but base Myself Corfu Town or close to it..

Never been to corfu. But currently on Rhodes staying in lindos. Thankfully the fires missed us. But was evaluated Saturday night went to the beach for the night. Got the all clear Sunday. Lots of properties lost and business lost. Still going on today with water plane's flying over. Hopefully should be finished by weekend if the wind keeps down. Enjoy corfu. Try the local alfa beer. Better then mythos.

Love Corfu as a whole, but felt Sidari was like Blackpool at night😐. You need to go to Gouvia or Arilas. The ppl are amazing xx
Kev, go to Kanoni its right by the airport ( runway )and spectacular views and scenery from the two bars there. You can catch the bus from main square in Corfu town takes about 30 mins.
It looks nice iv never been there but it's making me want to go .

Wow, can’t believe you are in Sidari Kevin. We’re over on Monday, shame we’re going to miss you.
If you wanted some British bars to try the Smugglers and Fagins are great and the Escape bar is also good. Also try the bar at Elana Stef Apartments. Xristos and Anna that run the Apartments are lovely. It’s a 2 minute walk from the strip.
Saw the prices of Staycation in UK..well the Prices of Hotels alone .. massively inflated prices..... it's just not affordable... laughable actually ..and rain ..
Nice video, it's always windy in the Greek Isles this time of year, good advice about the wind taking the edge off the heat, you can get burned!! The good news is I am sure you will enjoy Mythos, it's lovely nice and cold. The thing I don't like about Greece is the wierd thing that you cannot put toilet paper down the loo, you have to put it in a bin beside the bog!! otherwise the pipes get blocked!!????

I think sidari is much better than Alcudia, the sea is much warmer.
More relaxed in Greece.
Up north a nice little town called Roda is not far, acharavi a bit further along too, but from memory not a lot at acharavi other than the water park.
Great video was looking forward to seeing what it looks like didn't like it when stayed there but definitely changed a lot hope you're not staying in the sellas hotel 😅❤

i go to corfu every year place called arillas not too far from sidari,and imo much better and prettier than sidari.and has its own brewery called corfu beer so u can get local real ale in bottles and they are good.
please can you show menu and prices never been there but thinking of it we not bothered about late night (Benidorm) times as we normally in bed by midnight thanks

Get some Lemongrass oil...put in spray bottle...add cooled water from kettle...Spray room ..side of Pillow/ bedsheets..Spray on upper arms ) ankles..etc...Bugs hate the smell..natural ... No Deet....
