Most of us KNEW BEFORE the 2024 election that trump would be a lot worse then Harris. For example, economists had a consensus before the 2024 election that trump would add seven and a half trillion dollars to the us national debt, over twice what Harris would have done, yet so many of us decided to put our emotions before common sense and logic, and voted for Donald Trump anyway . Now we have to pay for it and it doesn't help that trump will actually be even older than and just as if not more senile than Biden was.

You didn't listen. Where are the textiles coming from? I live in an area where clothing is free because we had textile mills here and it was done to support those mills and that industry. Those mills got turned into outlet malls, and eventually those died. The buildings are now in ruins. It would take years to build that industry back. But they have no intentions of coming back here anyway
Sounds like we should be making clothes in America, paying American workers to make said clothes and tighten up our efficiency of self sustainability nationwide so we're not relying on foreign countries and foreigners to make everything for us. How disastrous it was that we couldn't even get fertilizer or baby formula during Covid because we lack the ability to self produce those things. America used to be an industrial might, and we will be again. No more shameful behavior that includes outsourcing and rewarding foreign countries whose citizens have less rights, poor working conditions, almost no pay (which is why it's so cheap). Shame on CNN.
It is a good idea but it means going back to the days when a typical middle class man had one suit and his wife had a couple of dresses which lasted for years - but a lot better quality. You can’t have a throwaway culture with American wages.
