- A day of trains around Toledo.
1. On the way to Toledo, I caught the Ann Arbor railroad northbound at State St in Ann Arbor.
2. At Toledo's Central Union Terminal, a Conrail eastbound piggyback train changes crews, while Amtrak #49, the Lake Shore LImited makes its station stop.
3. On N Front St, Toledo Coal & Coke #64 switches their plant, and an NS freight heads east.
4. At Millard Ave, CSX sends light engines north to the docks, and a hopper train south.
5. Back at Front st, a short NS local heads east.
6. At Vickers Jct, we see a southbound CSX coal train with a CNW engine, and 3 Conrail trains. First is an eastbound stack train, followed by coil steel, and piggybacks westbound.
7. A CSX northbound crossing over Woodville Rd, north of Vickers.
8. Back at Vickers, one more Conrail piggyback train heads into the Sunset.
Nice video
Great video!
This was a colorful era on the already-colorful Chessie. I never saw a Seboard Syem loco, though, or maybe I just didn't look closely enough.
