I remembered people used to compare this to devil may cry, finally played it myself a few years back. This game is tough af because the enemies block most of your attack and does crazy long combo if they grabbed you, it always took me several tries and I felt like I'm sucking even in normal difficulty, that's why I preferred DMC battle because it makes me feel like I'm actually kicking ass and doing sick combos. However I think I enjoyed the enemy design and stages more than dmc, Im amazed when ever a new monster pop up or arrived to a new stage, the enemies and bosses makes me frustrated but I still wanted to see what's gonna happen next. In conclusion, both of the series are gold of its era and I'm happy that I found enjoyment for both.
Main differences are that in DMC you're there to kill the enemies, meanwhile in NG the enemies are there to kill you. DMC gives you control of the situation and NG doesn't.
Yeah, Ninja Gaiden isn't really geared towards flashy combos. You're meant to end the Mook fights as quickly as possible. Hell, I spam the Izuna Drop on most enemies. Edit: However, the upcoming Ninja Gaiden 4 may be different, especially since Platinum Games (the guys famous for stuff like Bayonetta, MadWorld, and Metal Gear Rising) is helping with it.

Master ninja diffulty in Black it was a nightmare specially with Alma 1, Nicchae, and Ishtaros. Those 3 were a living nightmare even in the missions with normal difficulty
@@Kaithe7 Once u play it a lot you notice the grabs are telegraphed differently for different enemies. Ex: Ninjas will always do an empty side jump before grabbing. Still hate those laser crab fiends tho...
i used elgato hd60s + an hdmi splitter. youtube reduces the bitrate of smaller channel with few views. the original video that i uploaded was crispy clear (way better than what u see here).
My rcommendation is that if you are going to create content gameplay and get paid to do it well might as well do it in the hardest mode because you have all day to just play and record but yet all of you just play in normal mode and people like me that we have the consoles we do play the game how it was ment to be.

Run up the wal and use that downward attack when he's close (i think it's Y button or ∆ on playstation). Dodge his attack and simply repeat the wall run attack.
There's also Nicchae and Ishtaros. You only fight them on very hard, and master ninja difficulty (at least in Black, which is what I played, I assume it's the same in Sigma), Hydracubus 3 and Yotunfrau 2 are in place of them on the lower difficulties.
Is this game really that hard?, I was 6 and couldn’t pass the first level then when I was 12 I made it past the hot air balloon mission and stop since I kept drying now I’m 20 and feel like I need to finish what I started but it seems like it’s a pain in the ass to complete the game? Or maybe times have changed and my gaming skills got better.
Just noticed you use the wrong jump at 16:26 (and probably everywhere else), and that's why you missed several flying swallows. If you had used X+A instead (X + square), Ryu would have jumped right towards the enemy and the flying swallow would have succeeded.
For me it was ghost Doku. the camera was crap and i had hard time connecting attacks. played him maybe 50 times. in the video he appears easy to beat but connecting attacks on him was hard for me and he does soooo much damage.
Lol I actually quitted this damn game because I couldn’t beat the first fiends you fight (with ryu) and when I did I was put straight into a fight with the giant tentacle boss and I was on ng black and I couldn’t find the flying swallow and I died to it I rage quit and turned my game off and haven’t looked at the game sense
i know u have quitted Ninja Gaiden and probably won't play it ever again but just to let u know , in Ninja gaiden Black , Flying Swallow is not a separate scroll , u get this technique when u upgrade ur dragon sword to lvl 2. In Sigma yes u have to get the scroll in order to do the flying swallow.

I hear "Nioh" is even more brutal than ninja gaiden (never played it before). Soul series are easy imho, they start out extremely hard but after putting a few trys, the bosses patterns are pretty easy to read.
@@jarcurpapu2214 For me I agree ninja gaidens camera needs heavy work. as for fromsoftware "soul games" me personally I never found the camera to be bothersome.

I was so sick of this game that I was screaming like Ryu during the Vigoor Emperor fight 💀 It's just a random and SHIIIIITTT boss fight and just couldn't handle my emotions, lol. I was getting so mad at every line he said of every try I made. Literally the last 3 chapters just finished my sanity ☠ random people and random places. The game's good but at the end, or last chapters, it turns poorly done, imo. Like the game extends too much and Ryu is fighting bunch of randoms, out of nowhere..... even so, still perfect 😂
