@@embracerodusk2537 I heard Coroner have 8 songs for the new album. They've played a new song Sacrificial Lamb live. There's vids of it on RUclips. Sounds like it'd fit perfectly on Grin imo.🤘🏻
I will listen intently to these recommendations, Master, particularly Razor, Forbidden, and Destruction as I am unfamiliar with what must clearly be their greatness. Finally, I will be able to complete my training and be ready to face my step-father in his McDojo and defeat him once and for all. Thank you, Sensei. Also, Billy of Testament is incredible as I've heard him sound like James, Dave, and Joey Belladonna on their albums.
Hahaha stick to that old man! Yeah I found Forbidden completely by accident, it was $6 in the bargain bin and I thought it was death metal judging by the cover but it turned out to be a pleasant thrash surprise!

Ah gotcha, I remember watching an interview and Gene said he wore a lot of hats in the band (drummer, songwriter, manager, etc.) so I just assumed he did it all.
Thanks for this nice list. I know it's a wild take but when featuring old school canadian thrash why would you skip Voivod? I know they bend the concept of thrash to the limit, but still. Killing Technology! But anyway, here's my Top 10 thrash albums in no particular order: Anacrusis - Screams and Whispers Demolition Hammer - Tortured Existence Voivod - Killing Technology Kreator - Extreme Aggression Annihilator - Never, Neverland Anthrax - State of Euphoria Tankard - Chemical Invasion Slayer - South of Heaven Accu§er - Repent Violator - Chemical Assault

Morbid Saint - Spectrum Of Death is the greatest Thrash Metal album of all time. Great to see it on your list. Agree with you on Swallowed By Hell. Awesome album and my pick for best Thrash Metal album of 2024. The band's second album Destruction System also rules.
Yeah I own all their stuff on CD, Metal Archives is asinine having a 77 rating on that album, Pine Tuxedo, Burn Pit, Fuck them All…great tracks, hopefully we get some more new stuff from them soon!
@@RYDAHN666 Definitely. Another new Morbid Saint album would be AMAZING. Swallowed By Hell rules. Rise From The Ashes, Swallowed By Hell and Psychosis are also great. Not a weak song on the album though. Agree that the album should be rated higher on Metal Archives. Swallowed By Hell is a 9/10 album imo. That said, if you think the 77 is bad, Evildead's new album Toxic Grace is at 19 after 3 reviews. NINETEEN. Ridiculous. Imo Toxic Grace is at least a 7/10 album. 19 is like St. Anger territory. Even if someone dislikes the album, the lowest rating I'd give it is 4/10. 19 isn't even 2/10. NO WAY is Toxic Grace that bad.
@@RYDAHN666 Evildead's first album Annihilation Of Civilization is their best imo. The Underworld, United States Of Anarchy and the album I previously mentioned Toxic Grace are all great albums as well. Imo Evildead are Thrash but on the more Crossover side of things without being Crossover, if that makes sense.
@@RYDAHN666 Persistence Of Time. Anthrax darkest and most serious album from the first Belladonna era. Songs like Time, Blood, Keep It In The Family, In My World, Belly Of The Beast, One Man Stands, Discharge... Awesome.

Bestial Invasion one of my fav Destruction songs.

Darkness Descends and Spectrum of Death are my favorites for sure.
Crazy to think Gene Hoglan wrote Darkness Descends all by himself (if my knowledge of the lore is accurate)
@@RYDAHN666 I'm pretty sure it was their album/EP before Darkness Descends, ''We Have Arrived'' that he wrote everything on.
