    I spent the summer building a camper and am hoping to head north with it next season...I was hoping to "abandon societal norms" this year, but the camper took longer than expected due to being disabled. I can't drive due to my disability, so alongside the camper I built an ebike to pull the dang thing. Still finishing some bits on the camper, the inside is still mostly unfinished though I have purchased all the materials and stuff to finish it off...I stopped rushing after realizing I wouldn't be done this season. I've got solar, a little 12V fridge, and even a little toilet lol Also...I don't know I would say I do traditional yoga, per se, but I do spend 10 to 20 minutes a day doing deep stretching and meditation which seems a lot like yoga to me I just don't know all the poses. It helps with my recovery from being run over by a car several years back.

    also they make petroleum heaters that use gasoline instead of diesel and you can tap into the gas tank. of your Jeep ! there should be a tap at the fuel pump on top. of the tank. for accessories like that

  • @edwardmcdermott9948
    @edwardmcdermott9948 Год назад +1

    also they make small generator called a water Lily that generates power from a stream and can be converted to a wind turbine. it does make a lot of power but should keep small cell phone and lap tops charged. and should supplement your solar panels

    My little Brother Mark lived in Hollis, AK south of you there in Petersburg. Sadly, he passed away earlier this year, at a very young age of 53. He loved Alaska he said and that he would never leave, and he never did. My Mom and Brother moved to Ketchikan in the early 90s. I never understood why she moved there, and it was only in the last handful of years that I learned my Mom went to Ketchikan as a young 21-year-old woman in 1966 or so on vacation, with a man she had fallen in love with. I guess when the moved to Ketchikan, she was chasing her past and those wonderful memories. She herself passed away in Ketchikan is early 2000. Both her and my Brother loved Alaska. I would hear stories of her going down to the docks and fishing. My Brother told me there were many brown bears that scavenge the landfill where trash was discarded. He said there would be 15+ bears there sometimes. He also worked on a fishing boat for part of the year and was just really proud of himself. So proud, he mailed me his pay stub from an eye-popping amount. Sorry for the sad post, Loui. I really love your channel. I hope you and Forest get married, or at least date.

    "Lonely girl"? Why would you say that? I don't understand. You made a choice to live on the road out of your Jeep, exploring what our country has to see. Do you even know what the word lonely really means? Let me help you understand by comparing the word lonely with the word alone.
    "Lonely" is abstract, you cannot see it, smell it, hear it or touch it. Lonely for all intents and purposes is not real. If you get into your Jeep and go up a mountain to a secluded area in a forest you are basically alone, but not really. You will have your dog and the creatures and critters. It's just a feeling.
    "Alone" on the other hand is real. If you go into a room, alone, and close the door behind you, you ARE alone, no dog and no one else. If you are locked in a closet or a jail cell in solitary confinement, you are ALONE. Have you ever really been alone? I have!
    The FEELING of being lonely is a choice. Throughout my life there have been times when I chose to FEEL lonely even though I was in a crowd of people.
    To take this another step further, is "love" real? I suppose it is if you choose to believe in love. Just like God and Santa Clause, we choose to believe. But just because we choose to believe doesn't make it so. Being "in-love" is a fools errand and impossible! You may believe that you might share feelings of love with another person BUT these are two more examples, "Feelings and Love" which again are ABSTRACT. The feeling you may have for another person is your interpretation of how you feel but it certainly is not how your counterpart might internalize their feelings. You own it, you own your feelings but you do not own their feelings.
    I hope you enjoy your feelings of loneliness and I wish you happiness and I pray that God and Santa Clause offers you everything in life that you require. Wow that is a lot of abstract terminology all in one sentence, Hope-Feelings-Loneliness-Wish-Happiness-Pray-God-Santa Clause... But hey, you got me to click on it so YAY YOU!

    • @doctorkayak
      @doctorkayak 11 месяцев назад

      @AellaMaudSo basically you live with another person... So you are rarely alone in the physical manner. I have not lived with another person for ten years. I seek the company of friends when it is convenient for them as well as myself. However in the past there were many times I had to wrestle with the fact that I was alone, without a wonderful woman in my life.
      For years, not hours or days or weeks, I had to deal with the *feeling* of being *lonely* , both of which are abstract. We choose to feel things. We choose to feel happy or sad or angry and then we act on those feelings. If we feel happy we smile and rejoice, if we feel sad we cry or hide from the world, if we feel angry we often act out with our voices or we may use actions/violence.
      Over many years I had to look at all the different emotions I struggled with. Within my years of solitude I was able examine each of those emotions/feelings on their own merit. Eventually I came to the conclusion that emotions and feelings are valid and that they still exist within me and that I still have to reconcile them. But I was able to understand them better and circumnavigate these roadblocks more efficiently.
