    The most important thing to learn about keeping any kind of plants is: don't love them to death. That means don't overwater, don't over fertilize, don't torture them daily without giving them time to recover.
    I had to learn all that for bonsais and veggies but it applies to my indoor stinky little plants just as much.

    I found that having 2 separate flowering tents, one seedling/veg tent and one dedicated drying tent works best for my perpetual growing style. I don't always need the second flower tent but it's nice to have when a couple plants need put into flower faster than the rest. It's the same with the separate drying tent. If a few plants finish faster than the rest I can just pull them and let the others keep going. Something that really helped my grows in the winter was putting the tents on foam insulation board and throwing a blanket over the top to hold in the light's heat when it's turned on. I grow in my unfinished basement that struggles to stay above 55° in the winter. I was also leaving my buckets of water that I was aerating on the cold concrete floor too. Now I set them on some foam board and use cheap fish tank water heaters to keep the water around 80 degrees. My first winter growing here was super difficult because I didn't account for the floor being so cold. Now my winter grows seem to be better than my summer ones.

      I agree that Dr Earth's is good stuff. I mix in the veggies and tomatoes kind when I mix soil and later for budding I add some Flower Girl. I use worm castings and perlite and bio char and sphagnum moss. Rarely have my plants been deficient.

    Hi guys…love the content as always……I’m in Canada and just had two bad experiences with ordering seeds from the states. I’ve ordered from different companies before without incident but this time two orders from the same company were held in customs for extended periods, first order seeds confiscated, second order foil pack torn open and container opened and not all the seeds made it back in. I’d be interested to hear if anyone else in Canada has had any issues recently but things may have changed. Fair warning 🪴🇨🇦

    Most cultivars from my experience, the main branch will always dominate the plant, and it will limit every bud getting equal energy. I understand a few cultivars grow very bushy and even, but that's not the norm. There is no wrong or right way, saying you shouldn't top is just as bad as saying you have to top. I say just grow and adjust as you gain knowledge.

    Maxing out your grow space is really only important if you’re a commercial grower or have just enough room for a small tent but smoke a lot and live somewhere weeds still expensive. If you live somewhere with $50 zips you don’t really need to max out that 2x4 having to buy a bag every now and thens fine

    I been growing since I was 16 and Im 37 now and back then we didn't have help on showing us how. So our mistakes was good cause we learned wayyy before RUclips showing us how. And I never ever used nothing but the plant telling me when. And I been fine for years even tought prop who never grew start growing. So yes you don't need nothing but just stay going. Yes do your basics but it don't need to to be soo stressful to wee you stop. And yes these new people will stop cause there is now love in it they just going off people just telling to do it and not doing homework first and just thanking of money. If you love the plant you will make the money and she will make sure you will win. Something I just stated myself doing. I'm a big fan of all three of you'll I wish I was on the couch talking but one day. I'm from Grand rapids mi. Stay going on with the show.

    I just want to touch on that funny 1 gram per watt thing. I have been able to grow 2 1/4 pounds of great flower from six autos paired with the spider farmer SF 4000 (new model for 2023). So that’s 450 watts, I never maxed out my light I think 92% was the highest. So that 1 gram per watt thing is pretty much bro science in my opinion.

    • @JamesBrown-fd1nv
      @JamesBrown-fd1nv 7 месяцев назад

      It's just math, and it tells you how efficiently your grow is. The wattage is the same even if you don't have plants in your tent. The grams are the dry flower total. If you don't apply the science with control to achieve max yield your numbers will be lower. It's not bro science, it's just science applied math to assess how well you did.

      It's great if you have lots of veg time and want to completely fill out a grow space. If you're wanting to flip to flower quick then it's not the right technique obviously. I have 2 flower tents and sometimes I'll do a couple plants in one where I top and manifold them and take my time training them to fill a scrog net perfectly and then the other tent I'll stick a couple in earth boxes because they grow so quick in them and I won't train them so I can flip to flower after 4-5 weeks of veg.
