- Using legacies to rebuild the max extent French empire under Napoleon himself, starting as the minor noble from Corsica himself! Can we restore the French empire to it's maximum glory?
(I guess restore isn't the right word here since we're back in time in CK3, maybe rebuild or re-create would be better for Crusader Kings 3? Really hard to say lmao.)
Thanks to both Laith from the Social Streamers and SnapStrategy for coming up with the idea in the first place for stuff to do with Napoleon! See their takes on it here:

Thanks a bunch to this reddit post for Napoleon's (a bit too short and arumba-like 😝) DNA for CK3:

I love CK2's older sibling Crusader Kings 3. It's almost as good as Crusader Kings 2 ;p

Cara "I'm gonna try to take Montaigu."
Random koifish screaming from the ether somewhere xD
😂 hopefully it will encourage him to go back to rehab and work on that addiction
Napoleon gets transported to 1066, just cries until cannons make their way to Europe.
Cara never uploads at times that makes sense
lol, shush
What are you talking 'bout? Perfectly good time for us CESTrn people :)
Cestrn ?@@Pigraider268
Lol as someone who also deals with adhd she is justified 😂😂
26:48 "Somehow, Haesteinn came back"
If anyone in history is an exalted warlord it’s Napoleon. He won the most battles out of everybody
On the risk of being basic I feel like Alexander is still at the number one spot in that particular ranking, but Napoleon is definitly up there.
I'd like to know Gengis numbers.
He lost a few in the early days when unifying Mongolia @@VonBlade
Just what I needed, a cozy cara vid to calm me down after a rough day 🥲
Was hoping to see the kingdom explode as soon as Napoleon bit the dust. LOL
>Be bishop of Anjou
>Anglo Saxon
>move to France
>Find out the new liege is French
> 5:02 mfw
Why even go on living at that point 😔
Damn French, they ruined France!
Napoleon
Culture - French
ok...
35:45 Absolutely. OPB for one. And I kinda get it. I mean kingdom which doesn't exist anymore and is in a neat location? Count me in.
You've heard of Avenge the Battle of Tours, get ready for Avenge the Albigensian Crusades
Napoleon foiled by tribal-strenght in the early game xD
Watching this was one heck of a ride, especially once the murder plots started going
| Lands on shoulder | Boudewijn IS a Dutch name. It is the Dutch translation of Baudouin (French) and Baldwin (English). | Flies Away |
7:41 you mean im as tall as napoleon? the famous short guy? aw man
I’d love to see what happened after he died 🙈
30:09 almost made me spit out my drink
*editor walks into room*
Me: starts laughing uncontrollably for some reason
😂
I just discovered your channel and love your content! your personality is awesome, so I wanted to send some love, spread he positive vibes! :)
Having the pope as your marshal is hilarious 😂
Cara:he was so powerful that he could make himself appear where didn’t belong
Viewers:where can I learn this power
Cara:not from a paradox point of view
(Music playing)
Damn @HeyCara! Declaring war on Koif... I mean Jarl Haesteinn? Haven't you seen any Koifish videos? ;-)
You are part of the modcon?? That is crazy
35:47 damn i think you unfortunately ended up having the only person who actually has ending up watching this video (although tbf it was occitania since i find more "obscure" languages fun (occitan was the other main type of french (langue d'oc instead of langue d'oil))
also the editor/gf appearance was neat 🏳🌈
34:34 thats the guy who historically united Norway, how the hell did he get to Crimea not even gods know
When you became Emperor of the HRE you should have renamed it to the Holy French Empire :P
I miss arumba
2:02 Where does that coat of arm version come from ??😂
Just a blue field and a golden eagle is better
Always happy to see a Cara post. Our map game queen ruining history one silly challenge run at a time. TBH I did kind of prefer the shorter but more frequent videos, but nobody can turn down a whole hour of anachronistic Napoleon nonsense.
hey, its cara! 🦊
Why didn’t you start in Corsica?
Or at least not with French culture?
yaay cara 🙌
❤️❤️
Make your bed
oui oui, mdr
I don't understand why you love Napoleon so much and at this point I'm too afraid to ask
(I mean, the guy was a warmongering slaver dictator, but hey, no kink-shaming
Dictator yes, but slaver? Are we talking about different Napoleons?
I suppose he put Slaver because of the Haitian Revolution, but it is a gross and incorrect oversimplification to resume a character as complex as Napoleon with one single event.
the best general ever...
@@helghast_7203 it's perfectly fine to have historical favorites and people that you're interested in and like, but Napoleon sent an army to Haiti during the revolution under explicit instructions to restore French rule, and with it, slavery. It is neither gross nor incorrect to call the man who directly acted to re-institute slavery in Haiti a slaver. Napoleon was a radical in France, but if it weren't for the Haitian resistance, French Haiti would have returned to slavery, and it would have happened on Napoleon's watch. Napoleon is certainly complex! One of his complexities is that he was a proponent of Haitian slavery.
Thank you for the replies, I confess I am not an expert on the subject by any means, but I was indeed refering to Haiti when writing the word "slaver". I tend to have a similar opinion as @corywillingham1663 on the matter it would seem
I'm happy to read if you have similar or differing views, for who knows? we all might learn something
Have a great day
You forgot to make him Italian cultured!
