- One of the cheapest audio solutions, these monitors [amzn.to/1HRei9j] possess some good and bad traits. Being plastic never helps but for this price it sure beats whatever the equivalent Logitech speakers you could buy.

What type of cable connects the left to the right? What cables does this use all together?
Sounds like an acceptable "upgrade" for entry level digital pianos. Especially with the headphone out as some DP only have one audio out.
When mixing just for volume levels as an amateur song-writer doing home recordings, are they still worth it? I'm not expecting great quality, but if it can help me get the bass level right when a song is played back on both a mobile phone and then a car stereo, that's all I need. That's the only thing that headphones can't do for me. Again, I'm amateur so the quality of my recordings doesn't need to be radio-friendly, I'm just after something that will help me get the bass levels matching the rest of the song... Cheers!
Go for the behringer studio 50 USB. They should do the job and are cheap too (~120$)
This was the question I was looking for. I'm just starting out with some home recording, just for fun and entertaining friends. I've had great results from everything I've had from Behringer so far so just trying to buy smart, even if I have to do a bit of work myself to make them better
You should try the Behringer Studio 50 USB. I'd love to see a comparison between those and the JBL LSR 305. The Behringers will probably get destroyed, but I have them and I think they sound pretty great.
Hello , what the red wires you used?Tell me please!
Heyyo, can you help me decide between the AV-32s, D1010 IV, Samson MediaOne BT3 and Swan M10, Which one will sound better??
Cyber Shark.. 1 year later now :) .. which ones did you get in the end?
Z I have some questions what would be the best dac to use out of my phone and into my amplifier with rca or optical in (Sony STR-DN1050)? Probably and rca in? what would you recommend for under $100? Thanks
Phones and dacs are tricky. You have to make sure your OS supports them first.
hey z reviews I'm on a tight budget for a new set of speakers (no sub needed for now); I'm currently looking at the behringer ms40s (137 euro) Can I get these and connect them to the fiio e10k dac back output? they are already amped but I heard the line out on the back of a fiio e10k is unamped and uses the DAC? is this a good idea?
you can. And you can. But these are pretty bottom of the barrel.
These monitors are a good compromise between portability and affordability. I traveled for my living for years and I kept a pair of these in my luggage. When I got to the hotel I plugged them into my computer or other device and the sound was at least good, with various useful input options and at least a bass and treble adjust they made most devices sound better. I used to practice my instrument through them while sending music to accompany through another channel: that's a very rare option on such cheap (yes, I said it) "speakers." I believe they were better when Roland first designed and manufactured 20 years a ago or so. I've owned both the Roland and the first set branded as behringer and they sounded good as well. The earlier models I mentioned had the tweeters properly located as well. They are not designed for professional applications.
Sir. If i were to buy a powered sub with outputs. Can i connect these to that without plugging the power in these?
No, you need to power both. You can just share signal from your source with both.
Any clue as to what cable is needed to use them? I need a second pair and can't find out what they are.
+babyboy Pretty sure it is just RCA in.
hey Z i got them but where do i plug the power chord should i plug them in strait current or i need a transformer
House current
hi. just bought a record player with rca in the back. just wondering if u had a recommendation for a good cheap pair of speakers decent sound?
This may be a bit late, but from what I have been reading, Edifier makes some pretty decent cheap speakers. They may be worth looking into if you are still looking for speakers.
I use then for tv audio , and they sound ok 👍 they go supriseily low
Z Reviews Do you know any studio monitors which are good for bass/low frequencies ? Cause I like to listen to hip hop and I need monitors which I can hear the bass from artists like Drake and Kanye West
Usually you add a sub but I have added the GoRack [amzn.to/2i5FZsx] and used that to improve the low end on my Airmotiv6's with great results.
love your review
hey, so, is it 3.5 jack or 6.3?
3.5
could i power a 250ohm set of headphones with these?
I wouldn't.
Behringer MS16 and micca mb42x which should i buy z? can you help me choose
+Toan Trung Nguyen MB42x or PB42x if you want powered.
thanks you z :D
hi!! i am 13 years old and i have a dj controller. i am a bedroom dj and i am looking for good cheap under 50 euros speakers.. are those speekers good or not. pls help me . also if u know good cheap speakers under 50 euros pls reply me.
THANKS
SpaceMusic good speakers for under 50 dollar just dont exist bro... Knowing that some basic good quality monitors will cost around 300 dollars. So i guess something in the range of 100 dollars is more than acceptable.
For that price youre better off just getting a good pair of headphones, also a soundcard.
Hey man, is this better than the Presonus Eris 3.5?
I’m gonna go with no. I got a used set of mackie cr3s that sounded levels above these, but they failed in two weeks. These at least have been going for about a decade
Should I buy m audio av 32 or ms 16 or Logitech z 623 if I want to listen to music and watch movies. All these are 1/3 rd the cost of lsr 305s where I live. Should I go all out and buy the jbl. This is for a small bedroom. Cheap amps like lepai cost a lost of money where I live. So it is illogical to do a amp speaker setup.
+z reviews
The Maudio might do. But the JBL still win.
Why can’t you mix music on them?
Depth level is terrible. Even the Hercules DJSpeaker 32 Party monitors are better. I used to have the Hercules DJ 2.0 something from 2012 - 2017, because of a small home studio and they sounded véry good in that 6 square meter room. The DJSpeaker 32 Party one's are exactly the same, except for the funny disco light addition. They're available for 90 euro, while the MS16 set is available for 80.
U should review the presonus eris 5 & are u going to do a new years give a way because I really want speaker but can't afraid it I wish I could win one of your speaker & I'm 17 .love music
Dude u need to organise that room
But the room perfectly illustrates his review. I thought it was a parody?
@@Mr.Monta77 my OCD is banging off the charts
*loud noise happens* "Maup!" Now I want to watch Archer..
So these are perfect for "I use mostly headphones and sometimes use speakers" type of people like myself?
Yes.. but if you are a dedicated headphone guy you wouldn't power your babies with a set of cheap monitors.
I'll probably just plug them into my mp3 player which is 90% of the time using speakers.
Uh... About the Ferrari analogy. Yeah you do. You totally do. ...well maybe not the wheels.
Could I use these for Houseparties ?
+Oisin O'neill Not for a very good one. Houseparties with a WHOLE HOUSE usually require some more than a single pair of powered monitors. And more than $99.
For maybe like 50-60 ?
I was considering these but not now lol
I think if you hid the speaker wire better, they would have sounded better.
That is probably absolutely unbelievably true.. or not.
You also get more bass if you paint them red...
loved your reviews!! BTW you should try m-audio bx5 d2 which is suppose to be an affordable sort of entry level studio monitors
Those and the JBL 305's..
yeah those too both have pretty good coments
You're incredibly funny and this was incredibly helpful.
ur listening to Sia here?
No entiendo nada el ingles pero guiándome con lo k hace..
You must watch Archer
You're too funny
Heyy
Do you even know what those "speakers" are made for???
what difference does it make if they are made of plastic? Yes they are assambled in China under very specific quality and ISO9000 from Behringer Germany design.
brand new they are not cheap...you might have purchase them second hand...
They are not made for karaoke!!! god!!!
budget built quility.
your video is moving a lot.. not good for viewers ..
это какая то гадость
Omg unsubbed no karaoke test 0/10
Please regálame unos así soy de colombia y no tengo diner :'(
Ya mismo se los van a regalar, bobolon
these monitors are shit... no bass... DO NOT USE for mixing music... for people talking about just listening, having parties, and playing video games, yes they are fine... they make sound...
Yeah I gave this set away to replace someones TV speakers. They work for that at least.
i've been producing on these monitors for almost 3 years lmao
Yes they are ok as garden speakers or tv speakers and the connections make then very versatile but they have a wonky sound.
How are these for just high sounds? I have a subwoofer and just need speakers for the high sounds
Ian These speakers have an annoying quality to the sound, it must be the responce curve that is all over the place. It is more annoying when listening to them carefully, for instance when trying to use them as studio monitors (they are called studio monitors but are actually no good for that). I have used them connected to a TV because they gave a more powerful sound than the built in speakers and they where OK for that and with an added sub they would be be even better - when used as TV, garden or music-while-you-work speakers or similar.
junk
Dude why so toxic?! just don't recommend them! you don't need to hate on them like that! they are fricken 60$ what did you expect?
Why did you bother with this video; difficult to listen to your negativity!
I mean, reviews just simply are not always positive. They would probably not be honest if they would be.
