Sound generator and sweet ambient lighting aside, I fell in true love with the EV6’s sculpted sport bucket seats which hug you TIGHT (and are comfortable). Then comes the retuned and stiffer chassis, quicker adaptive steering, adaptive dampers, adaptive 15in front disc brakes, and a multi mode traction control & rear e-LSD… yeah this isn’t your typical put put electric car now is it..
All this means, and I can attest to this, that the EV6 GT handles WELL, very well. Even at around 4,800lbs, it knows how to manage its weight and it loves corner carving. Aside from the (quite) stiff ride in GT mode, you are rewarded with Drift mode, sending power to the rear wheels in a smoke induced frenzy….. Burn the “Kia” stigma out of your mind, get up, and go drive one. You will not, absolutely not, be disappointed…. You may end up wanting one as bad as I do too.

How was the headlight visibility? I heard it was bad. I wish Kia didn't cheapen out and used the projector headlights from the global market vs NA spec. I heard those are active headlights too.
I have a 24 GT and the headlight visibility is horrible
@@landen9710 yeah it is as I have a GT now too. It's kinda sad they the Ioniq 5 have regular projectors while we don't. It should be standard really at this price point.
@landen9710 Interesting. The GT-Line? I’ve heard entry trims of the EV9 having not as bright headlights.
@@Allcarnews No, I have the GT. headlights are significantly worse than the other cars I drive. Very hard to see far at night
@@Allcarnews all the EV6 trims have the same headlights in NA unlike the EV9 where the top trims have better headlights.
why interior lights turned red at 3:56? is it an indicator of something?

Very very fun, OK interior quality, terrible range for the GT model.
Build an electric car whose main advantage is silent drive, then add sound generator to make that crappy noises 😀
Turn it off if you don’t like it… it’s an option
