Drum Major WO2 Scott Fitzgerald, Coldstream Guards leading The Band of the Coldstream Guards. New Guard: Nij. Company Grenadier Guards Old Guard: 12 Coy Irish Guards
Good evening Lenny and Ig. Looked like Christmas on the way back to the barracks with red and green plumes. Good catch at the statue. Happy New Year and looking forward to more of your content in 2025
Good evening! Thank you Lenny, for this lovely video. The Coldstream Band starting with "Colchester Castle", one of my favorite marches, and the nice 2nd tune (but i don't remember the name🤔🙂). The Old Guard my favorite Irish Guards, giving salute at Memorial!! Have a nice evening.
@semajbronson21 Hello Semaj, I am pretty confident that 7 is "Gladiators' Farewell" by H.L.Blankenburg. Also, the spelling of 5 is "Punchinello". Thanks for providing viewers with the list.
Good morning semajbronson, beautiful day thanks for the name of your march, it can tell everyone watching the video who doesn't already know the name of the march, You seem to have forgotten to add the name of the march.😊😅
@MikeM14-40 Hello Mike, I just got your notice, going to watch your video. Mike, a little question please: who are the Guards wearing the red stripe (or belt)? Officers? DMs? Or...?? Can you answer in your video? I've learnt a new nice march "Blaze away".
@@AlbaAlba-fg2io Hello Alba, I'm not an expert on the red stripe and the ranks of the Guards, and don't want to give incorrect information, so I'm only guessing! I think that the red stripe might be called a "sash", and it's either to denote Guards of a certain rank or above - maybe Colour Sergeant? - and/or to denote a particular function in the parade. Hopefully someone who knows can give the complete and correct answer!
@@AlbaAlba-fg2io going by someone else’s snarky comment, I think the red sash people are warrant officers. What warrant means I don’t know. One of the band members used to have a red sash but she doesn’t wear it now🤔

Charlotte, the Irish Guards' plume is St.Patrick's Blue, not green.🤗
Good evening from here.
Thank you dear Charlotte 🤗🥰
@@AlbaAlba-fg2iowell yeah but they always look green on my devices

You are welcome 🤗
Just seen us on the video. Great video and the Guards where amazing
Awesome thank you 🤩
@WayneGibbins, what time stamp?
The tower and Windsor, my two favourite guard mounts to do
Anyone know what song they start playing at 6:00?
Red man’s march
Didn't they use to have height requirements in the Guards?
That was one rather, er, vertically challenged WO1 with Nij Coy.
Short in stature but tall in bravery and spirit
A+ video; you allow the video to speak for itself... ie; no stupid, useless commentary.
