    Dope interview from 1 of the most prolific MC's to do it. Pharoah is 1 along with 'FACE and SEAN P (RIP) who seemingly get better with time. Their evolution and relevance in the arena of greats is unquestionable. Also, the interview eludes to something I've always thought of and that's Pharoah's intelligence. PTSD just solidified it, WAR, these albums propelled him so far ahead into the MC stratosphere. This dudes bars ...wow!! NOW we find out he's designing and inventing sh..., society can not continue to write off these bredren who are intelligent lyricists. Tap into their entire mindset and we could probably solve some of today's major problems. Not Harvard educated, HARD LIFE educated, which few of us "truly" graduate from.

    I would like to see another interview with Monch
    Different interviewer
    This was uncomfortable for me
    Wanted some more insight on his future thoughts
    The culture , his philosophy today

    Never seen this show before but i been a fan of Monch for 20+ years so i had to peep!!
    Im a lil curious about Petes affiliation with hiphop(spidey sense tingling) cause of his confusion with Prince/Prince Paul when Monch was talkin Prince Po. I mean come on homie, he said "Organized Konfusion" and hes talkin bout back in the day with the homie.
    My love of hiphop(i consider myself a "hiphop historian") probly got me overthinkin/bein too critical so lemme just say good look on the interview/upload.

    That was super confusing! I thought Monch meant Native Tongue Prince Paul because he said "Paul"... Pete was wherever he was with it... So is Prince Po's first name Paul? Or something... Nobody really cleaned this up.

    Half way thru this and he said Bobitto passed on Organized Confusion AND Nas, lol. Damn.

    • @mc365mc
      @mc365mc 5 лет назад +1

      I could see that. Bobito like the more oddball witty type rappers like Souls of Mischief, Kurios George, Doom etc. I could see Monch not be quite far enough out there and Nas being to hardcore. I mean the guy calls himself DJ Cucumber Slice.
