they were going to restrain him not kill him lol he is a high ranking official. If you watch the full scene they actually change there tone when they find out he is beyond rank, one of the top dogs.
The above reactions may be a reason in this case but I too see these aspects in sooo many movies. At least ranged could aim for the knee in order to make the target immobilized if dead is not wanted. But in the meantime I have learned to laugh at certain scenes in a movie where I thought it's just 'boel-sjit'
1:20 yikes...
esse filme é muito top
I remember back then I thought that black guy is an amazing actor.
Why would the guards armed with pistols approach a guy with a sword?
Probably they were so transfixed with his gravitas they didnt think he actually had the balls to insist that the scientist perform sepuku right there?
I hope he tries this technique on Steven Strange in the next Dr. Strange movie.
So... stupid question:
Is there _anything_ whatsoever to that whole nerve-jab-twist thing, or...
Do you know what your sin is?
Hell I'm a fan of all 7
If we're going to have a black Bond, there's our man.
Is that pressure point actually real lol?
The closest "pressure point" strike I know of that's regularly taught is a brachial stun. It's a hard palm heel strike or punch to the brachial plexus somewhere in the side of the neck that incapacitates you completely. You can see youtube videos of it if you search brachial stun.
I found a good one that shows a Marine doing it to a SgtMaj. Just search Marine neck chop knockout.
No what he did was hit his kidney very hard probably punctured it, if youve ever boxed getting her there will usually drop you instantly to ur knees. Because ur freeze up, its almost like getting hit in the stomach and getting the wing knocked out of you but different. It wasnt a pressure point it was a kidney shot, below the back right and left ribs.
Tbh I couldn't stand him in 4 brothers... he doesn't play a tough guy good. Now, menacing villain absolutely
He probably wouldn't have fallen forwards if he had stared straight ahead instead of downwards at the sword....
What the hell was the purpose of killing him?
as an example to others
Loose ends.
@@thitsugaya1224 Agree, Dead man don't talk!!
Establishes character, tone of the film, foreshadows events to come.
He failed miserably. He literally exposed state secrets to a telepath. I mean if that doesn’t bring black ops to your door , nothing can…
How is he not in the who should play Bond talk ?
Or a Bond villian.
