It depends on the parents. Kids have the natural ability to speed learn languages. It's a very important trait that we got from evolution. It's just that Westerners don't integrate and form "ghettos" or what they call "enclaves" and keep away from the public aside from work or tourism. It's hypocrisy considering how much they whine about immigrants not integrating or learning the local language and culture.
Because there's no reason for them to choose Korean of all languages. it has a relatively small number of native speakers and to make it worse, it's kind of an isolated language spoken only in Korean peninsula unlike international languages such as English and Spanish. So why would they go with Korean when they have way more appealing choices like Spanish, Mandarin or Japanese(if they're particularly looking to learn Asian languages)? I'm Korean but if I weren't Korean and had to learn a new language, I wouldn't definitely pick Korean unless I'm planning on moving to Korea or something.

Yes. It's been proven that young brains are able to learn easier than older ones, even in the teen years it becomes more difficult. That's why most countries (not the US unfortunately) start in elementary school and do around 2-3 additional languages.
exposure can have such a big impact when you learn a new language, it’s no joke. i live in the US but i’m constantly surrounded by korean friends everyday at school and i watch and listen to shows and songs. it came to the point that i’m pretty good at understanding it and my korean friends agree. i didn’t actively study it, it just came to me bec of exposure but if i did take it seriously, they told me i’d pick it up really quick
you should learn it ! learning a new language , even if you might not be planning to live in that country , is very useful to know , and can be used quite frequently especially if you’re exposed to a lot of korean friends :)
jeonghans wifeu of course i want to learn the language! i already know certain words/phrases, i just need to know sentence structure and grammar but i have friends to help me. right now though, i’m currently actively learning japanese 😅 and i mix that and korean enough as it is (to me, an english speaker, they have the same style i guess?) i’m slowly transitioning tho so i can be more comfortable
Zaffre that’s great !! i also know japanese bc of my fluent mom , i’m definitely not fluent in either korean or japanese but personally i find korean way easier . especially since you have to learn kanji , lemme just say i’m very dumb LOL so it gets hard for me . i don’t have any korean friends around me , so i’m a self taught learner . it gets hard at times especially when you have questions , but i’m sure you’ll be good in no time !!
jeonghans wifeu i also find korean easier lol it also helps that korean and japanese kinda have a few words that are the same. and please don’t even mention kanji ;-; it’s like i take a whole day to learn one character and forget it the next day. language is really interesting and i love learning as much as i can, it’s almost like a super power you can acquire as long as you’re passionate about it. good luck to both of us!

Zenith MC Korean age means, you are one year old when u were born. + The age of Korea is originally calculated in East Asian cultures such as China and Japan. From the beginning of the century when it was in the belly, there is no concept of zero in the Orient, so it is said that I saw it as one year as soon as I was born.
I’ve been doing French for 4 years and I can just about form a sentence how on earth these young boys learned Korean that fast and especially it being a hard language
lol Ikr Ive been learning French for about 2 or 3 and I know a shit ton of vocabulary, but can't string them together in an advanced sentence for the life of me.
It helps enormously to actually be surrounded by the language; there's a big difference between learning a foreign language somewhere they don't speak it and learning it where the language is official/common.
If you live in France it shouldnt be too hard to improve. If you have a friend that speaks both French and English then start talking to them in French bit by bit
Imagine going on vacation and then just being like: meh I like it here. So then you just start to live there... DREAM Edit: wait what last time I had like 3 likes and when I came back I had 1.2k bruh

Zaffre you should try and learn it then!!
you should learn it ! learning a new language , even if you might not be planning to live in that country , is very useful to know , and can be used quite frequently especially if you’re exposed to a lot of korean friends :)
jeonghans wifeu of course i want to learn the language! i already know certain words/phrases, i just need to know sentence structure and grammar but i have friends to help me. right now though, i’m currently actively learning japanese 😅 and i mix that and korean enough as it is (to me, an english speaker, they have the same style i guess?) i’m slowly transitioning tho so i can be more comfortable
동생 맥! 잘생겼네^^ 조각같다^^ 자네 헐리웃진출해볼생각없는가? ㅋㅋㅋ 하여간 두형제 참보기좋네^^ 늘 건강하고^^

Kiona Nguyen but at least he is in the video.
"what is San Francisco famous for?". anyone else got worried but then sighed in relief when the kid answered food?
Why would someone get worried?
@@nowrinyasmin2110 because the #1 thing San Francisco is famous about is gays and the LGBTQ and that's usually a sensitive topic for Americans (i'm not saying it should be, it just is). so it was more of a joke wondering if someone would get worried cause i'm sure most here wouldn't care
@@miguelk.705 oh ok . thanks for the info!
Now days it’s famous for heroin and public defecation.
@@smileychess true. but either way, i was a bit worried on where the conversation was gonna go with the kids lol

Korean age system makes me feel old. In korean age system I would be 18 while im 16
I don't understand the korean age? Can someone explain it?
Zenith MC Korean age means, you are one year old when u were born. + The age of Korea is originally calculated in East Asian cultures such as China and Japan. From the beginning of the century when it was in the belly, there is no concept of zero in the Orient, so it is said that I saw it as one year as soon as I was born.
@@ililil2607 oh so in short it means your 2 years older which means im 16 in the korean age hahaha well thanks for explaining it to me.
Honestly, same
I just turned 16 here in America but in Korea I'd be one year from being of legal age (for Koreans legal age is 19), so I'm 18 in Korea
In Korean everyone is born being one, and every new year you gain a year instead of your birthday
I was fascinated by everyone waving with both hands simultaneously all the time. Is this a usual thing in Korea?
Yea lol. I lived in yongsan on the base there, Korea is awesome! Good food no crime and they have pc rooms
You will see it literally everywhere, also as a fellow Korean I can confirm that they also talk a lot about boyfriends and girlfriends
But the best thing I think is their internet speed
Yes!! Definitely internet speed XD
And the coffee shops on every corner
the min su guy's English is really good
indeed
Gabby lmao korean is 10 times easier than french when it comes to grammar
Gabby French is a difficult language to learn
한국인분들도 기본적으로 영어잘하시네 ~
