Another bit of tea I wish more people knew about - Cheryl said in an interview that Pangina helped her with her sewing challenge garment just as much as she helped Baga as her dress broke not long before the runway.
Pangina helped a lot of people during the sewing challenge actually! And if I had to guess, the producers probably made Baga lie down on that sofa and pretend to be ‘lazy’ for storyline purposes, just my thoughts tho :)

It seems like the designers should be on the show, sometimes. I wish they’d at least put a Made By: on the screen each runway. Especially since some queens do make their own costumes and I think that deserves recognition.

Regarding Pangina's Snatch Game T, I think it would have went well. Pan-pan knows Art Arya well to poke fun at specific things about her friend without being disrespectful, and she is such a character that it's not hard to make her funny. It could have been a Jinkx S5 situation where nobody knows who the celebrity is but she got us all laughing
I watched leaks prior to the season and it actually said that there was a major drama fight between Mo and Jimbo, and I was waiting for that scene. And then Jimbo's elimination happened and I was so upset with that to the point that I forgot about Mo and Jimbo's drama then the next day, I was like, "Wait, i was waiting for that fight"

Thanks for making this point. Good editing supports the results that actually happened, so if Lemon was in the bottom because it was "messy" then we need to see that. Sometimes we as viewers are confused because the editing doesn't support what the judges are saying. This also needs to be remembered when there are complaints that a lip sync features one queen over another. The editors need to leave us with a sense that the correct decisions were made even when that is not always the case.
On the Lemon and Jimbo not hanging out a lot, Canada is a huge country and Jimbo is from the far west of it and Lemon is living in NYC, on the far east. It makes sense they don't get much time to chill.
True, if they wanted to keep a friendship they would have to FaceTime and text all the time. Even with that said, people should understand that queens aren’t always gonna be super close besties, and that’s perfectly fine. They have people they just don’t connect with just like everyone else. i remember queens saying they wanted to do fictional characters for snatch game before (i think choriza may said she wanted to do marge simpson if i remember correctly? which would have been HILARIOUS) but they weren't allowed. i feel like now that there has been so many snatch game episodes they need to start allowing these fictional characters instead of actual celebrities. or we will keep having disasters like s14 snatch game
I guess some of them have gotten around that by saying they were doing the actress when actually they were doing a character portrayed by that actress (eg. Bob, Bendela, Courtney). It's so insane Ru didn't want them to play actors as their fictional characters. Pretty sure that's happened in like half the US seasons and all three UK seasons. Why on earth would they change it now?
I think it’s a copyright/licensing issue. The network doesn’t own the rights to the character, but they can portray the likeness of a real person. That’s why Blu was “Mike Myers” and Baga was “Kathy Bates” vs “Austin Powers/Dr Evil” and “Annie Wilkes,” respectively.

Stacy Layne Matthews was Mo’Nique, not her character from Precious; Dela was Maggie Smith, not her character from Downton Abbey; Bob was Uzo Aduba, not Crazy Eyes; Elliott and Crystal were Rue McClanahan, not Blanche Devereaux; Pandora was Kim Cattrall, not Samantha Jones. The only time I think they were able to be fictional characters was on UK Season 3 (Ms Kingston, Charity Shop Sue) and those were characters that appeared on the same network.

For snatch game they aren’t allowed to be the characters from the movies but they are allowed to be the actor playing that character if that makes sense. Like, can’t go in being Harley Quinn but you could be Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. So it’s ways to bend the rules without breaking them.
Loving this type of episode! I feel so cheated that we didn't get to see Lemon's runways, especially since Juju's looks were so bad (no shade to the queen herself, just the looks).

I heard that the reason that Cheryl's Luck Be a Lady unaired runway photo has that photoshopped head on it is because it was from a fitting and she wasn't painted at the time. So she just went with photoshopping her painted head onto the photo 😂
Loved this style of video! Being able to see the outfits of eliminated queens is such a treat! Your videos showing off the unaired fashion has convinced me to join the “change Drag Race from tournament to pageant-style” camp, we DESERVE to see the looks that our faves worked so hard (and paid lots of $$$) to bring with them. Plus, we won’t have to keep wasting our breath with hating on desperate edits to create drama or the riggory around weird eliminations/saves.

i remember queens saying they wanted to do fictional characters for snatch game before (i think choriza may said she wanted to do marge simpson if i remember correctly? which would have been HILARIOUS) but they weren't allowed. i feel like now that there has been so many snatch game episodes they need to start allowing these fictional characters instead of actual celebrities. or we will keep having disasters like s14 snatch game

I guess some of them have gotten around that by saying they were doing the actress when actually they were doing a character portrayed by that actress (eg. Bob, Bendela, Courtney). But that probably wouldn’t work for an animated character 🤷🏻♀️

It's so insane Ru didn't want them to play actors as their fictional characters. Pretty sure that's happened in like half the US seasons and all three UK seasons. Why on earth would they change it now?
I think it’s a copyright/licensing issue. The network doesn’t own the rights to the character, but they can portray the likeness of a real person. That’s why Blu was “Mike Myers” and Baga was “Kathy Bates” vs “Austin Powers/Dr Evil” and “Annie Wilkes,” respectively.

Stacy Layne Matthews was Mo’Nique, not her character from Precious; Dela was Maggie Smith, not her character from Downton Abbey; Bob was Uzo Aduba, not Crazy Eyes; Elliott and Crystal were Rue McClanahan, not Blanche Devereaux; Pandora was Kim Cattrall, not Samantha Jones. The only time I think they were able to be fictional characters was on UK Season 3 (Ms Kingston, Charity Shop Sue) and those were characters that appeared on the same network.

With snatch game, I think because they have the actors name as well as character parody? Like DeLa was dame Maggie Smith, but Downton Abbey Maggie? Thoughts.
For snatch game they aren’t allowed to be the characters from the movies but they are allowed to be the actor playing that character if that makes sense. Like, can’t go in being Harley Quinn but you could be Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. So it’s ways to bend the rules without breaking them.
