We’re in district 1 Nevada and we had some loaded teams, at least 5 with some absolute studs and pitching galore. I still feel some of our district teams who didn’t even win district could easily beat several US teams at Williamsport. We lost to this team in the state finals 12-0 and had zero chance they are def a great team that’s been together for several years now and won the state title several years in a row.
@@norneva775 I find it hard to believe that many of these teams are just standard all star teams. They seem like a couple managers got together and picked the best players from the district and put them On one team
I am saying this very respectfully I do not mean it in a mean way. The New York Pitcher needs a chin strap for his hat. He just missed a ball because his hat is falling getting in the way. I know occasionally your hat will come off. But not after every pitch.
Too busy trying to look cool while pitching instead of pitching and getting Ks. NV pitcher his hat was on the whole time, pitched a complete game with like 9Ks and wasn’t worried about how he looked lmao.
I'm really liking the strike zone this year. Trying to hit 77mph at the arm pit, and in the other batters box is not possible. Glad they are keeping it tight side to side!!!
Back in the 90’s I coached a couple of teams in the LLWS. Back then if there was a kid throwing 70+ it was extremely rare and caught everyone’s attention. I can’t believe the number of kids throwing 70+ now. The average 12yo kid can’t even get close to that. Usually mid fifties is about the average for a good league pitcher. But there are so many kids going to pro level trainers now that 65+ mph in higher level competition is becoming more normal. So the kids have to be much better hitters with quick hands if they are going to keep up. I had four kids going to pro level training last year. Huge improvement in each of them over the year. But that kind of training is a huge investment and isn’t guaranteed to pay off. I just wish we could go back to letting kids be kids instead of crushing them under tremendous pressure to throw 65+ or hit 100moh scorchers. As a coach I want to see them improve as much as possible, as a parent, I want to see them be kids as long as possible. I’m torn
They think the lose hat makes them look cool but it just makes them look dumb. Have to pick it up off the ground after almost every pitch. Also when it falls off it blinds the pitcher for a split second from seeing in front of him.
@@tylerjerabek5204 they were commig back.. he sent the runner and ruined the game for the team that was there only chance.. maybe you were not watching.
Couldn’t even watch this video because the NY pitchers hat. Put it on your head and if you’re the coach make him put on someone else’s hat that fits better or something
I thought his hat falling was bad. Their other pitcher that they used against illinois is worse. Falls off every pitch. They must think its cool to wear the hat high and loose. Very annoying to watch.
Every game I been watching these 3rd base coaches have been terrible and burning runs, they gotta be smarter and stop taking the bat out these kids hand
lol at all the kids with face/elbow/ankle guards on with 70mph pitching lol you used to not need full body pads to play little league lol softest generation yet
The NV catcher is one of the best I’ve seen in a long time for this age.
Agreed. Very aware. Fast to the ball. Great at blocking balls in the dirt. Very good catcher.
100%
He frames pitches far too long to the point it shows up the ump. It won't take long before one comes along that takes exception to it.
For sure
That’s Parker Soranaka he’s my friend I played with him
They need to require that kid to tighten his hat. Can’t be falling off his head on EVERY pitch
It’s hard when the caps can’t be adjusted
@@FrontYard_Boys they’re fitted for hats. He could’ve done better.
@@FrontYard_Boysthe kid doesn’t even put the hat all the way on his head. 😂
Seen multiple pitchers with this issue. Glad I stopped coaching because I'd have a major issue with it.
It was triggering me so much to see it fall off each throw.. like cmon man
I think everybody was sleeping on this Nevada team 🔥 Probably the best Nevada team in LLWS history
2014

2014 easily
Any random travel ball team from south Florida would whoop them

On one team
Nevada knows how to put the bat on the ball. Well done!
This Nevada team is underrated
You’ve got to love the emotion that’s involved in the game at this level. It makes it so much more fun to watch
That’s the best catcher of Nevada 😮😮😮
Bad send by the 3rd base coach.
Absolutely brutal
Nevada looks good. They always play good baseball out there.

I'm all in on this Henderson, NV squad - they are fun to watch.
NY with another catcher that is more like a pole than a brick wall. Little guy for Nevada was the complete opposite and was excellent!

Nevada has good D# and really good hitting !
All thease teams are goated
They are too good.. suspicious
@@brianmeen2158 almost like they had to be 1st place in 3 different regionals to even make it here..
Man. Who’s gonna win it all. TX, FL, NV, HI. I’m sure I left some out. All good teams. Will be fun to watch.
Really interested to see how competitive Washington will be. They have the potential to be really good but were inconsistent in the regional.........
Nevada catcher is insanely good for his age
That Hype bat is 🔥
You can get through regionals with a clear #1 pitcher, but Williamsport will expose the pitching or lack of pitching depth you have.

Doing the lords work @wheels
I wish kids knew how silly the hat falling off thing looks.
3rd base coach Cost them the game
Keep your hat on little man

Terrible call by the 3rd base coach @10:10 🫤. And a Tough game for NY, but they made it farther than I thought they would👍.
I think dad needs to teach him how to wear a hat
Try watching this on 2X speed😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
We didnt have dropped 3rd strike in LL. '69, '70 district 4. Alpenrose.
Can you do the American legion World Series as well
The hats falling off every pitch is so annoying. Get one that fits ffs...
Who cares
Little bro, put the hat all the way on your head 😂
They need to do something about the pitcher losing his hat every time he throws. Could be a big distraction for the batter.
It's not. I've hit against someone throwing high 80's with his hat falling off everytime. You don't notice it
They think the lose hat makes them look cool but it just makes them look dumb. Have to pick it up off the ground after almost every pitch. Also when it falls off it blinds the pitcher for a split second from seeing in front of him.
@@Toast2005ngl im the opposite lol. In high school ball that ish definitely was a distraction for me as a batter.
The New York pitcher hat isn’t fully on, that’s why it keeps falling. He needs to put his hat fully down and on.
The pitching has been really good. The catching fundamentals have been bad, the Nevada catcher is better than most so far.
Can’t watch that cap anymore. F…..the game.
Grippo paying tribute to Max Baker I see
doesn't the pitcher know how to pull his hat on all the way? did the same thing at the regionals...you don't balance the hat on the top of your head
5:54 if he would of seeing all of the way through that's a homer
I wonder how many total Hype Fires will be used in the LLWS this year....
USA version so the bats restricted, at least they get them for free
Another new york team that is so easy to root against
New Yorks third base coach needs some coaching of his own 😅 my grandma coulda thrown that ball to the catcher in time 😂
Base hit clinic.
U know when llws comes around u start getting wheels on ur recommended again
Just me or does no one have pop on the tournament I feel like I haven’t seen an XBH
USA bats suck.

Seriously get a safety pin for that hat if you have to. That has to be distracting for the hitters.
The coach on third for ny doesn’t belong there
LLWS seriously needs to invest in better chumpire crews. Balls and strikes suffered horribly all week...
My biggest pet peeve is a pitcher who constantly has their hat fall off! Get a hat that fits!
teach these kids how to put on a baseball cap, every pitch cap comes off. that's not supposed to happen sheeesh...
What's with all the damn pink lmao.
am i tripping or are they all using 2025 hype fires
@@Temptazer there is a Hype Fire USA bat now. No where near as hot as the Usssa version though.
Yup, They get them for free to use for the tournament. It's like this every year with bats. It's the USA version so it's restricted.
These NorthEast USA teams are just no match
Hey dude, you know how to tighten your hat mommy forgot to teach you that part huh?
Do any of these kids wear Hats that fit their heads? That's all I see with these pitchers.
What is up with all this long hair?!
