- In this video, we review the Living in a Bubble Magnetic Fly Screen for vans, a product "Created by Outsiders, For Outsiders".
Living in a Bubble sent us this amazing Insect Screen for the Rear Barn Doors to our Ford Transit, mid roof van that we use for adventures, camping, road trips, and more!
This fly screen is super easy to put up with a no fixed installation, and can be put up and taken down completely by yourself. With the high quality construction of this product, & sewn in magnets, the screen can be left in place when the doors are closed. The fly/insect screen provides privacy & a sunshade, while at the same time does not block visibility from the inside for driving or enjoying the view out the back of the van.
The center zipper allows easy access from both inside AND outside of the van. It not only provides protection from insects with the 1mm mesh, it provides a TON of ventilation in the van by allowing the doors to remain open. Additionally, it does not damage the surface of the van when removed!
The screen folds up into a wonderful provided storage pouch that doesn’t take up that precious van room real estate!

Very clever product. Looks like it will be extra useful as it isn’t something in the way when you don’t want it, like loading up etc. I think you’ll get good use out of that on hot muggy days and also keep things from maybe blowing in.

Looks like a great product that it doesn't need any special tools to install it. I've worn one of those face net things before and they are awful! The magnetic fly screen seems like a much better solution.

Super useful bug screen! Great idea that it is magnetic! I like that it has a zipper door … if it’s buggy out the flies and mosquitoes will try every way possible to get inside! Funny to have wear a bug net inside the van - lol!!! Great video!! :)
Hi Jennifer - we were being silly at the beginning, but the bugs really can be a bummer in the van! There is nothing worse than getting all cozy and tucked in to look up and see mosquitos flying around by the roof - or flies buzzing around. We love our Living in a Bubble screens - we will never leave them up - just will not take the chance to damage them. Just so easy to set up. We chose to not use the zippered kind on the back - same as the side sliding door works better for us the way we have our beds configured.
By the way - I had a number of corporate partners in our extensive van build series. You need to know that RUclips requires you add the "paid promotion" caption if you receive products for free - even if they do not pay you anything. If you receive anything of value that requires the caption I had to go back to almost 100 videos and add that to meet their rather strict requirement. If they see this, they will eventually notify you. I know I have over 2.6 million views, but a rule is a rule. Good luck!

The intro had me laughing! What a nice simple upgrade to a Van/SUV setup that's going to greatly improve the overall experience. I'm also like Shannon, I'm horrible at folding lol. With that being said, do you feel this is something that you could just stuff in to the sack?

You ABSOLUTELY could just stuff it into a sack (it is well made and seems that it will be VERY durable!) - Karen just likes things to be nice and neat - and is MUCH better than I am at folding - hahaha - I too would just shove it down in a bag!
