Wow! Israel! It appears that the authorities go out of their way to ensure that there are lots of recreational facilities; lots of car parks, seating accommodation for the weary, and for those who just want to relax. This is so very thoughtful. I would love to visit Israel again.

The physical appearance of Ramla has transformed beautifully with attractive buildings and parks from when I saw it 50 years ago but the underlying problems of rampant crime and poverty have not disappeared. I did an online search hoping to read that the problems were ameliorated but was disappointed to read that despite a much improved appearance the problems persist .
