Assemble a limitless arsenal in this survive-em-up roguelite shooter. As a Gun Manufacturer's testing force, your mission is simple: test the latest gun tech and scavenge alien planets. Collect insane weapon parts to invent crazy guns that slay thousands. You may not survive, but your guns will!
So, downloaded the demo on your recommendation. I’ve played about 10 runs, and so far my only win has been assault rifle with quad helix barrel, ice/freezing rounds, and containment field. I thought containment field sucked too, but when you’ve got a near infinite swarm of freezing bullets around you it’s crazy good. Also, enemy health in the last few minutes scales INSANELY high, along with even the breakables which is really weird. You practically need some kind of quadratic scaling to do anything late game. But it seems like your underbarrel weapon also scales with enemy level, so that’s good.

Why are there witches on this planet, does this mean magic is real on this planet because if that is the case, our scientists need to get on that.
There's little blue balls of XP around the place so yeah - you are correct
I love how you can see the attachments that you got on your gun that's one thing I do love about this game

The attachments purchased/researched are the tier 3 upgrades
Yeah, they need to improve on clarifying that those are unlockables
Very addictive and the returns on the loot are NOT huge (ahem red crystals) so it keeps you grinding for that next research item.
They got slightly buffed since this video. Also I was told there's more red ore in the bee area and area after that
39:29 nope, as far as I can tell upgrades on the tree stack. No overwriting.
I recently had a crazy run with the pulse rifle with the helix barrel + homing shots + splitting. Ended very similar to your RPG run though, haha.
Super excited for the full release of this game. I'm not a huge fan of most games in this genre, other than Brotato, and hopefully eventually this game. Maybe Death Must Die as well assuming the full version is good.
Pusle rifle is wild, I won a run with it earlier today. Started lagging out the game with split bullets, capped attack speed and a 300 Magazine lol

maaaan I've been playing this so much and I just can't get lucky! It's a tough game! Very addictive so I had to uninstall the punishment, but I will get it when it releases
Game is fantastic and I kind of agree, I don't want to spoil the full version. Also it was just announced that Deep Rock Galactic Survivor drops on the 14th. It's like and endless stream of amazing games in this genre
